Charlie Palmer Steak Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We are glad we gave this restaurant a second chance. Had their "cut of the week", which included a petite ribeye, mashed pumpkin, kale, desert, and all-you-can-drink wine. while everything was great, I was amazed by the kale; I'm not sure how it was prepared, but it melted in my mouth.
Everything excellent! Edgar the Sommelier, is awesome! Raymond is a great server! Food as always...above expectations! Saw on Julia Child's show that Chef Palmer is a real person! Been celebrating anniversaries and birthdays here for over a decade. Fly in from Albuq. NM and dining here is always in the plan! Happy tummy happy life!
Very delicious steaks and very friendly staff!! We got there about 30 min late from our reservation but they still happily sat us down with 10 minutes til the kitchen closed. They treated us great considering we were thr last customers to go in before closing.
Food was good. The room was so hot however we were all miserable and the manager was rude. Unfortunate because the rest of the staff was pleasant. You could even see the Staff tense up when interacting with her. Not sure I’d spend that kind of money again for the overall experience.
Where do I begin!? From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, it was a magical experience. The staff received us with glee and seated us promptly even though we were early for our reservation. This evening was a special event and we opted for the Cut of the Week. I will visit this restaurant again and again, always selecting the Cut of the Week! Our table of 4 dined on a petite ribeye accompanied by sweet and sour parsnips, a green salad, and a mashed potato of some sort, maybe garlic. We were happily given bottomless pours of delicious white and red wine by the sweetest man, Edgar. He helped make my friend's 30th birthday A Night to Remember! They even surprised her with a beautiful happy birthday dessert! I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the experience from start to finish. And the price was only $58 per person. Save yourself many hours of research trying to find the best budget-friendly steakhouse experience with atmosphere in Las Vegas and just reserve a table here! Cheers!
Our waitress seems to be working on a catering instead of a classy restaurant. We still working on our food and they kept asking if they could clean up our plates - this happened many times. We all felt they wanted us to leave as soon as possible. Disappointing. In other note, the food was really good.
The worst high priced meal I have ever experienced. The steaks were tough. The knife was dull. The service was bad. Terribly understaffed. The desert was the only bright spot. I have had dinner at a majority of the fine steak houses in Las Vegas. This is one that I will not revisit.
We truly enjoyed everything about Charlie Palmer's. I highly recommend ordering from the"Cut Of The Week" menu. This menu includes three courses, a side dish and an unlimited wine pouring of that weeks wine selections. Whether you choose the Cut Of The Week or anything else on the menu, you will not be disappointed.
Charlie Palmer's Steakhouse - Las Vegas - consistently provides wonderful dining experiences. Our Server last Friday evening (Maria) was outstanding. The food never fails to be delicious, perfectly cooked, and creatively presented. My friends and I are locals. CP's is one of a short list of 'Go To' fine dining experiences.
Bonus: They pay for parking at the Four Seasons!!
We were offered a seat straight away at the front or to wait at the bar and have a drink and get a booth. We chose to have a drink at the bar. Bar staff were friendly and knowledgable. Our table was ready soon after. We had the cut of the week deal. It was great value. The live band were great too. Not loud which was good as our table was close to them. Highly recommend and would return.
My classmate and I are finishing up a 3 year post-graduate degree ( and most of us are non-traditional students) and have met in Las Vegas 3 times per year for the last 3 years. We made reservations for 6 in our group that wanted to share in the success of our journey. Sadly, the restaurant did not live up to our expectations except for the sommelier that hit the bottle of wine that we described to him as our choice on the nailhead.
The service was extremely slow...our waiter was very inattentive. When you have 6 individuals that are there to dine you don't leave us waiting or for me to raise my hand several times to get the attention that we deserved.
My classmate ordered a Cosmopolitan and was served something that didn't even resemble a Cosmo...we asked him to leave it because, hey, it might be something we could order again, but no he returned it to the bar and we were told that they used that drink to create the Cosmpolitan.
And even more sad was the fact that our filet's were not cooked to order (shame on a steakhouse...I do a better job on my home barbecue). Mine was overdone as was hers. She was told that her steak would be taken off of her check but that was not done. I din't say anything, but when I got my bill it was completely wrong, but we were going to a show and had to scramble to pay our bill and get to the show. Fortunately because we are a tight knit group we were able to figure out the discrepancies in our bills and settle up the following day.
The side of the asparagus was outstanding, however the other sides that we ordered were just ok. One major redeeming pre-dinner dish was the lobster bisque which was amazing.
I have dined from the East to the West coast and particularly love San Francisco restaurants (because if you are not up to par in San Fran you're not going to be open) so my review is not biased nor based upon an uneducated dining experience.
I frequent this restaurant every other week and have never been disappointed. The waitstaff and the Som's are absolutely fabulous , and the Cut of the Week specials are amazing. Every one I have brought there has completely enjoyed their meals and the experience. And I am so happy that it is inside the elegant Four Seasons where the valet staff is warm and courteous. They even leave complimentary bottles of water in my cupholders for the ride home!
I was very disappointed with our meal, though my husband did thoroughly enjoy his filet. We had to ask to be moved as soon as we were seated due to what appeared to be a large female dinner party across a half-petition next to us. Even in our new seats, there was a bridal party nearby that was quite noisy. How is it possible that in such a high-priced restaurant, the bread is served at room temperature? Service was adequate. The meat was good. The au gratin potatoes not hot enough. The meal was not worth the cost. He had looked forward to this meal during our trip. I am his wife, not the person with the review nickname listed below. This was the week following the horrific shootings in the hotel and concert, so perhaps that had an impact.
I can't say enough about how well we were treated at Charlie Palmer Steak. My wife and I took our daughter and her husband there last Friday. Our daughter works for LVMPD as a CSA ( crime scene analyst). Charlie Palmer invited first responders and those affected by the shooting on October 1st in for their 'cut of the week'. The staff was amazing! Very professional, accommodating and considerate. Obviously they knew that it was a difficult time for my daughter and they treated us with the utmost compassion. It was not easy for her to go out and enjoy herself, let alone at the Mandalay Bay. However, the staff here gave her a much needed evening of relaxation. I would have gladly paid for the wonderful dinner we enjoyed, but at the end of the meal we were told that there was no charge! THANK YOU Charlie Palmer and your amazing staff. Truly a class act.
We decided to go to Charlie Palmer's for our 20th Anniversary. Was nervous at first because we had never been to this restaurant before choosing them for out 20th Anniversary, it could have went either really well or really bad, and I am glad to say it went extremely well. We checked in and were told Happy Anniversary from the Host, Manager and Server for the evening. The atmosphere is just lovely, very romantic setting. The manager came over and offered us free champagne to celebrate and my partner accepted as I don't drink, but what a wonderful way to start the evening. Our server was Adrian and he was a bit shy and on the meek side, but he was very on top of the service. We enjoyed some wonderfully cooked steaks, several sides and were even given a lovey chocolate cake and truffles for desert for free to help us celebrate. We had a wonderful evening and would highly recommend Charlie Palmer's, and we will be coming back and bringing friends who wanted to rate our experience on whether they would want to enjoy the restaurant and if it was worth the money. It is worth the money and the experience:) Thank you Charlie Palmer staff for making our Anniversary a wonderful experience:)
