We were in Napa for a few days and looked at reviews and decided to book a reservation. It was the best decision I made. The wine was spectacular. We started with the lovely Caesar salad which I shared with my husband and they kindly split. I had the Sirloin steak which was seasoned to perfection. We ordered the truffle Mac and cheese and my husband for the first time really enjoyed Mac and cheese. My husband had the lobster risotto which struck the right balance. We topped off our delicious and tasty dinner with a beautiful dessert which was a pudding whipped with moscato wine and some pears and crumble. To die for!

We were expecting something very different. We are used to fantastic steak houses N the Phoenix area , so we expected something g as good if not better. There are too many other great little restaurants in Napa to go to. We were disappoint in the service and the food quality.

Kickoff was fumbled but recovered. Service started slow but good overall. Add on Lobster order was expeditious.
Corkage was waived. The food was delish.

I think it is over priced. Good cuts of meat but not worth the price. We had asparagus that was over sautéed.

Charlie Palmer Steak serves fine food. I've gone a number of times since 2018 and it's always quite enjoyable -- both the cuisine and the ambience.

My only criticism regards value: It seems that since 2018, the entree portions have notably decreased. My recent meal was salmon...and frankly it was barely enough food to keep a small bird quiet -- which, given the price point, was bothersome and detracted from the overall experience. All the more, the salmon, although delectable, was not particularly distinctive or singular as a "culinary experience". My suggestion: order at least two "sides" for your entree -- given your entree will most likely be visually consistent with a child's plate... (and nothing is worse than dropping near 2 bills for a dinner -- only to come home needing to warm up some leftovers to fill the void).

Tried the Sunday Burger Deal..Mine was very good..My Lady Friend's Tirkey Burger was a little salty to her taste..Otherwise a good experience..Will be back to hoperfully give that other star!!

Absolutely the best dining experience I’ve ever had! Greg, Chef Eddie, and ALL of the staff are amazing! ~ the Wagyu NY Strip is out of this world! Thank you all- we can’t wait to see you on your next visit to Napa!

Napa is fortunate in having a several excellent steak houses. Charlie Palmer Steak is certainly one of the best. And if you like oysters, you must try the bake oysters.
We had the filet and the bone-on New York Strip, "seared-rare" which were delicious. And if you want an unusual "side", try the appetizer portion of the risotto with lobster.
We brought an old Napa cab to dinner - there is no corkage on the first bottle of a Napa wine.
It's nice to have Charlie Palmer Steak back, even at 25%, which leaves plenty of room for appropriate distancing.

We have eaten at this restaurant quite a few times and were pleased with our meals. However, this meal for everyone at our table was one of the poorest restaurant meals we have had in a long time. Even the wine - a pinot that was suggested turned out to be wimpy. We will probably try this restaurant again someday, but it's going to be awhile with all the other good restaurants in town.

We are consistently disappointed with this chain of restaurants. It all made sense when we realized Aureole in Vegas was also Charlie Palmer. We had bad experience at Charlie Palmer in Napa, Vegas and also Aureole in Vegas. We won’t make the mistake a 4th time, dumb on us.

We had to have a good steak at least on one night. We chose correctly! No complaints and we all had some great steaks. Splitting salads worked out well. Even after the split they were large! Will we go back. Yes!

The food was not as good as it had been in the past. For a steakhouse the best dish we had was the chicken. We had ordered a Filet, a hamburger and a chicken. Filet was fatty and tasteless, the burger was a pasty texture, the chicken was perfect.

Absolutely awful! Wasn’t greeted by hostess and sat there for 15min when they clearly saw we were waiting. The waitress was extremely rude, had no personality and should be fired for no customer service skills. It was obvious she didn’t want to be there, if you hate your job that much just quite. The brunch menu was very limited and they weren’t accommodating. It made sense why the place was so dead. Due to this experience I will never try a Charlie Palmer Restaurant ever again.

The service and food were amazing. My wife ordered Alaskan King Crab legs and scallops and I had the filet. Our sides (gratin potatoes and creamed spinach) were delectable, too.

This is a typical Steakhouse. Food and service were outstanding. Steaks were cooked to perfection. We very much recommend this restaurant to those looking for this type of dining experience. One nice aspect of their service is that there is no corkage fee providing the wine display a Napa Valley designation . Cheers!

Our server Kim didn’t know what the special cut dinner was then proceeded to tell us we couldn’t get our first wine selection that was part of the special cut menu price until the salad was served even though we had oysters that were brought out as an appetizer. Then when our steaks were brought out because I’m a fast eater I had only one glass of red wine which was offered with the special cut dinner Kim refused to give me another glass while my friends were still seating and drinking because I had finished my entree and told me that was the rules. It was very embarrassing. I spoke to Ian the manager and he offered me another glass of wine but it was too late the damage had been done to our evening. I believe the manager should have comped our whole table dinner based on the server ruined our night.

Somewhat disappointed. Didn’t enjoy the drinks (Bloody Mary). Food choices limited. What was available was disappointing. Risotto was cold and gummy. Potatoes were over cooked. The lamb at the carving station was dry and over cooked. Pancakes had been sitting too long. Dessert bar had no options other than donuts, which weren’t good and carrot cake (good).

The bright spot was the roast beef. It was cooked to perfection. The bacon was excellent.

Not an enjoyable Easter brunch for our family especially for over $300.

Great service and wait staff! Very attentive. I had the Snake River Flatiron which was very good although I ordered it medium and it came out rare, I did not send it back however! Partner had the Prime Rib which he enjoyed immensly. He is a Prime Rib aficionado and was impressed. Side dishes were decent. Most impressive was the service and the meat! Overall a nice experience for a special occasion!

my bone in ny was way over cooked, not medium rare as I had ordered. They took it back and a young waitress brought me out a bone in ribeye. I immediately said this is not what I ordered, she said "yes it is". 8 people at our table heard her, we nearly fell off our chairs. Another couple in out group split a steak, theres too had to go back and was redelivered. I was the last one to eat, everyone else was done with their dinners. It was hard to believe for the prices we usually pay. we go to 4-5 star restaurants weekly for 20+ years, this has never happened before.

Staff was amazing, almost too attentive. Beautiful venue! My steak was amazing, salmon not so much as it had no flavor, not sure where the bacon was on the truffle and bacon twice baked potato.
