    When you order from the Thanksgiving menu at a Steak House, consider what they specialize in. Unfortunately the turkey dinner was very disappointing! Slivers of turkey on mashed potatoes with a black ball of something which turned out to be dressing. The plate was cold, as was the gravy that came in a separate container. The squash soup was flavorful but lukewarm, we ordered a caesar as a side which had no flavor and tasted if had been tossed in mayonnaise. The pumpkin pie dessert was the size of a cupcake, perfect size, but the crust was limp. When one orders a decaf latte, you’re assuming that’s what you will get. I was unable to sleep at any time that night because I realized I had been serve caffeinated coffee. Service was very slow but friendly, although we had to ask for utensils at each course change, after utensils were cleared off. It’s taken me 2 days to decide to write this since I do not like to leave negative reviews unless it can serve as feedback! The steak was perfect as was the tuna tartare appetizer.

    All was good… waitress was incredible, but the atmosphere was not what we were expecting on Thanksgiving…lots of kids. Definitely not the restaurants fault… just not what we were expecting.

    We enjoyed the delicious filet mignon and sea bass along with beautiful and tasty vegetables and desserts. For this quality of food, the ambiance is definitely lacking--I felt like we were sitting in the lobby. In addition, the restaurant was short staffed this night. Although it didn't look busy, service took forever and the wait staff were clearly overburdened. Napa has so many fine restaurants, I can't recommend this one based only on the food itself!

    Food and service are good, but if you are looking for a quiet place to celebrate a special occasion, this is not it. Seating bleeds into Lobby Bar and Lobby sitting area, so very loud. Be sure to ask for a table on the upper level, as this is a little better.

    We enjoyed our dining experience however the wait for our food was an hour and a half! We sat at 7:00, had appetizers but our main entrees came close to 8:30pm/8:45pm. Our server was amazing and communicated through out our wait. It was our bday dinner so she comp our desserts to make up for the long wait time! Besides this, everything else was amazing. We will come back!

    The location of this particular Charlie Palmer is not the most warm or accommodating. You literally feel as if you’re eating at the hotel lobby. We switched tables and it still felt chaotic, loud and unorganized. The service was subpar.. the staff behaved as if they were serving a buffet breakfast. Not at all on brand with Charlie Palmer brand . The food was absolutely delicious. Steak and fish were perfectly cooked. The chef is doing an outstanding job , it’s a shame the staff in the front of the house are doing a disservice.

    Our server did her best - no reflection on her but slow service, not enough staff! Missed queues between bar and kitchen. Ordered medium, got medium well. Asked for 8oz filet, got 6oz and paid for 8. Slowwwwwww night and paid a premium.

    This Steak house was fantastic. Had the Filet and it melted in my mouth! Also, the Mac & Cheese is amazing. As you can guess as we were in Napa, the wine is wonderful, although a little pricey. The cocktails were also quite good! The staff were friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and visit Charlie Palmer Steak Napa when in town.

    A little underwhelmed by this restaurant. We had high expectations and we had to wait for our table even though we had a reservation, food came out veeeeeery slowly and it was pretty noise. The food was delicious when it did come, so nicely done there. Our server was very sweet and excellent. She seemed over worked though. We felt that for the price, the experience should have been better and food should have come out much faster than it did.

    The food was underwhelming as was the atmosphere. The filet was decent. The carbonara had a different unexpected flavor, it was left half uneaten. The mushrooms were good. The waitress called everyone “darling”, which was annoying. The restaurant is spread throughout the lobby. No ambiance at all.

    Half of the restaurant is in the lobby of the hotel, so noise level is high and not a great place for a cozy date or celebration together. Our server was quite odd and not what we’d expect at a &100+/person restaurant. 2 of the 4 steaks we ordered were very undercooked. While the scalloped potatoes were great…the ‘shareable’ size was small for the price. On another note…the bar is not ‘fully stocked’ per the server it’s a Bourbon bar, so requesting a specific martini was shot down. Very strange indeed. The filet was a great cut and cooked well, just Not sure we’ll ever return.

    The hostess forgot us and gave someone else our seats. We had solid reservations. Our drinks took 20 mins. They didn’t want to serve us our app in the dining room after we were seated because it’s against policy. We repeatedly asked for bread and didn’t get it. We asked for more dressing for a salad and that request was ignored. Our plates were cleared prematurely. We were there for far too long without anyone checking in on us. They are severely understaffed and it was a very poor experience. They didn’t even send a manager over to apologize or ask how they could make it better. The waitress comped one drink which was kind but not enough to get us to come back in the near future. Very sad and disappointed.

    Disappointing. “Nicer” dining room “unavailable” … not enough waiters?? Too many steps to the kitchen, more likely. 2 sides unavailable (Thursday evening!!). Rack of Lamb was tough and bland and had to be sent back to the kitchen to cut by the chef (couldn’t be done by us at the table). Server was supportive and had character.

    Food was great along with the service. The only negative thing was they did not seat us in the main restaurant. They sat us in what I would consider the lounge area open to the hotel patrons walking by. Would have preferred to sit in the elegant dinning area.

    They moved restaurant into the lobby of The Archer Hotel, ridiculous location for dining tables, directly across from hotel check in. No atmosphere, felt like we were sitting in a hallway. Will never return. we are local, eat out often, will share horrible experience with others.

    The food was really good. My partner ordered the pork loin and it was raw when it got to the table. They took it back and came back with a brand new one which was cooked to perfection. They comped us some drinks and it all in all it was outstanding. I’ll definitely be back.

    Steak House in Napa should be able to know about wine glasses - which glass is for what - open a cork (without breaking it), filling glasses when empty/low This felt more like Denny’s than a supposedly nice restaurant Very disappointed ! Food was fine Service was below standard We wasted an evening in Napa where we could have done something good - or local !

    The Charlie Palmer Steak House has a great reputation, and we were keen to try it for our anniversary dinner. It was wonderful! The food (steak, lobster, scallops) was delicious and beautifully served. The desert (lemon meringue tart) was spectacular! The wine list was also excellent, with some very good, moderately priced wines. Our server was attentive and kind and we had a great time. Loved it!
