   Had a great lunch for 90 year old mum. Excellent time and food together with service. Manager recognised the event with a special ice cream desert plate to celebrate. Mum was most impressed and already talking about when to go again for dining. Strongly recommended for all.

   Have eaten at Charlie Bretts on quite a few occasions and have always been greatly impressed by the the wonderful tasting food and great presentation I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

   Really helpful and friendly staff. The food was delicious and different. If you like fish, you'll love this place. I will return. I will take friends. It feels a little off the beaten track yet easily reachable from Adel, Horsforth or Headingley for example. I strongly recommend you visit. 8

   My sister and I took my mother for lunch on mothers day food was ok didn't realise it was a set menu for mothers day but luckily they still had fish and chips on the menu for my mother unfortunately are table was right next to door so every time someone came in a blast of cold air came in not enjoyable for an 83 old women or my sister who kept getting up and down to close the door the staff were very friendly and had a busy day.

   Went here at short notice on a Sunday afternoon, we where made very welcome and felt immediately comfortable. The food did take a little while to come, when it did the traditional roasts were second to none, absolutely delicious, plenty of veg and cauliflower accompanied it. I only marked the service down by one star as the staff are excellent, but as in so many other restaurants there just was not enough of them, very busy, two girls to take orders, clear and also keep a busy bar going If Charlie Bretts want to operate below power fair enough, but it may well in the long run come back to bite them Excellent food, brilliant staff, if it's very busy just be patient

   Fantastic menu and outstanding food, great personal service and loving the rebrand/new menu with more meat options (still lots of fish dishes too if you like that). If you are a foodie like me, you will definitely like this place!

   One of my favourite restaurants. I took three friends, none of them had been before and they all thought the food was excellent. We all had three courses and all exceeded our expectations. Charlie Brett's is better than than all but a few city centre restaurants and is definitely much more cost effective. The same group are returning for a comedy evening next month and I will be back soon for lunch this time.

   Best roast beef Sunday lunch I've ever had! Food was great and well presented with decent portions. Staff pleasant and efficient. Needs a bit of work to improve the ambience though.

    Had a lovely meal,,,, Fish & Chips and the batter was very light, the fish very fresh and the chips were delicious, my son ordered a sausage which he did not enjoy,,, they exchanged it without any quarrel and did not charge us for it. Very good
