Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality.     Charley's is great. My wife and I love going there. We've been going there for years. The service is above and beyond, food is always excellent, and atmosphere is great! I highly recommend Daryl as server! Top notch!.

    As always, this restaurant is super cold. Bring a sweater. We had a party of 5. $33 for 3 bacon wrapped scallop appetizer???? Our 3 sides all came out luke warm/cold. Fried shrimp entrée also served cold. Ordered a baked potato and as entrées were being delivered, was told they ran out of baked potatoes. Although we didn't receive the potato, we were charged for it. Had to ask to have the charge removed. We had 2 servers. One was attentive, the other not so much. There are too many other good restaurants in Tampa to spend $500 (including tip) for subpar service and cold food.

    Charley's service, food, and cocktails are hard to beat! It is consistently excellent! The staff knows how to treat their customers and make them feel special. Charley's is not just a place to eat meat-- their steak is seasoned to perfection and cooked exactly as you ordered it. The martinis are very generous and served in a proper and very cold glass!

    It was my first visit. We were celebrating a friend of mine becoming a nurse and it was just wonderful. The food, our waiter everything was just excellent I'm definitely planning another trip back. 🥰😋

    Second time at Charley’s and second amazing experience. We had the same server, Dan, and he was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. My wife and I are both vegan and very much enjoyed the new F U plant based Filet. 10/10 strongly recommend. Will be back soon.

    My NY strip was tough and almost unedible. I would of complained and asked for another steak but are server was too busy in the bar area and I didnt see her for for about 20 minutes and by then it was too late to ask for another steak since everyone else was finishing there steaks.

    I have been to Charley's on many of occasions and have always had a great meal. I understand that it is pricey so I know what to expect. But this time was a disappointment. My steak was under cooked, grisly and had very little "wood fired" taste. My wife's steak was heavily over seasoned to the point she could only eat half. In my opinion, the quality of the food has lessened. The service is still outstanding.

    Wonderful food and drinks. American Wagyu ribeye was very good. Rose lemon drop was awesome. Great cook on steak. AC made it a little frigid but great atmosphere. New Brownie dessert is the best.

    They did a really good job! I selected that this was an anniversary dinner and we got a private corner just for the 2 of us with a nice note and welcome. We were given a free appetizer and dessert. Food was amazing and the staff was excellent.

    The service and food was top notch. Restaurant is a little loud but it was bearable. Only problem was the table next to ours has a child (which was not the problem), the problem was his device that he was watching a moving/game on was loud and annoying and the parents were totally oblivious to it.

    If I could give 10 stars I would, our server Brittany was amazing and helped us choose our cuts. It was my fiancés birthday and the chef sent out surprise treats for him. Such a great time, restaurant is beautiful, food is AMAZING!

    This is only my second time there but everything was great. I would have had red wine with my steak but wasn’t willing to pay $25+ for one glass and no other menu was provided. There may have been others but I didn’t ask so that’s on me. Otherwise we’ll definitely come back.

    Haven’t been to Charley’s in 15 years. They didn’t disappoint. Our favorite restaurant! Best steaks in the country. Lobster Mac outstanding. If you are in the Orlando/Tampa area and you like fine food, Charley’s is the best!!!

    Unfortunately, the salad was soggy, the ribeye steak was not as tasty as expected, and the potatoes or Groton recipe was not to my liking. Overall, very disappointing food quality however, our server was terrific. I wish I could remember his name so I could provide that complement.
