Mike is the best bartender in Scottsdale and the food is always great.
Food good. Croissants fabulous.
We were seated promptly for our reservation. The server was helpful and made good recommendations. The food arrived quickly and everything was exactly as requested.
Food was good as always. Service has been poor, the server seemed unattentive and in a hurry. The past two times, the same waitress put the check on the table before we were done eating, and stopped refilling at the end
Food was great, we were seated right away with our reservation!
Well-prepared food in a wide variety of choices. Comfortable space. Good value.
This is first time we had a problem. The side dish of carrots was cold, she got me another dish that were hot, but I was already thru with meal
Our server Ariel never offered us soup or salad. We didn't realize it until another table was served theirs. She never came back to check on us. The vegetables were bland. The chicken in the chicken fried chicken was so thin. It was more breading than chicken. This will be our last visit. We used to love this restaurant.
The food is always excellent. I had the ribs, loaded baked potato and burgandy sauted mushrooms for my birthday meal. When the plate arrived it looked so awesome the people at the table across from me cooed over it! The meal did not disappoint. It was excellent. Our server was Eugene was great. He was personable and very attentive.
We love Charleston's,, but disappointingly our most recent visit marked the third time the service was poor, and not reflective of the high standards your restaurant usually provides. I believe this service not only impacts ones' choice of dining options, but also, with customers it cuts into the ordering of beverages, especially alcoholic ones. Our waitress actually was rubbing the back of a another female employee for about 5 minutes while ignoring our table. and delaying our service..just crazy. Hiring waiters who do not understand the basics,,clearing tables upon a meal's completion, checking on re-orders of beverages, upon exiting no personnel present to thank you for the visit,,,etc, etc all add up to bad service. During the dinner I actually told my wife that your restaurant might be better with electronic ordering and food/beverage delivery might be a better idea in lieu of bad servers. My recommendation...change the manager who can hire and train a better level of customer service.
I just live this restaurant. I select Charleston’s every time possible. The margaritas have a lot to be desired but the food is great!!
Prime rib was a huge cut but very dry! Not alot of marveling!
Good service and great food
One of my favorite spots!
We went there for Valentines day, and man was the food AMAZING!... The food had so much flavor and my taste buds erupted with joy as I swallowed each bite.
Being a man born and raised in the South I'm use to flavor and that's something that I haven't found in Arizona. I Probably won't.... But Charleston's is the best food that my wife and I have eaten the 1.5 years that we've been in Az. Keep up the great work!
Charleston’s doesn’t disappoint as usual! It was the perfect place for our Valentine’s date. Our server, Monica was awesome! Can’t wait to come back again and again!
Always great food and service.
Great. Love the meatloaf
Valentines Day and in spite of the restaurant being packed the service was absolutely great and the food was excellent. From the hostess to our server Chris the service was impeccable not rushed but friendly and efficient. The food was very good and exactly as ordered.
Really good food at a reasonable price. Ate there 3 times during our 2 week trip.
The menu provides a very good selection including gluten free options. The food is good. The ambience is appropriate, and you are able to have conversation with others without speaking very loudly. We eat at Charleston's often and have brought others who have enjoyed the experience and will add Charleston's to their restaurant options.
We ordered a second round of drinks when our food was delivered to the table. The drinks did not come until we were finished and the plates taken away. We refused the drinks as we were all finished with our meal. Our waitress was absolutely horrible. She never smiled. She never told us her name. And seemed quite annoyed if we had any request. This is not the typical service we have at your restaurant but it will affect us coming back again
The service was horrible. Example we ask for a dry white wine and the server told us she did not know because she drinks red wine. You would think she would of asked someone else for a recommendation, that did not happen so we had to ask the bartender. I ordered medium rare French dip with mayo & creamy horseradish on the side. That did not happen so I had to request another French dip and they forgot the fries. We spoke to the manger about the situation and she didn’t seem to care. I’ll never go back!
Good food and excellent service
The food was fabulous! The croissants were to die for. We said it was for a birthday on the reservation and this was not acknowledged. The waiter brought our check over when he was clearing our dinner plates and said something like “since you guys ate a lot you probably don’t want dessert” and sat the bill down. It was very strange.
Our waitress was fantastic. A little noisy due to the people from the golf tournament. Food very good.
Good food & service every time.
Tiffany is a terrific bartender/server.
Service was good and food was delicious. We would highly recommend it.
The filet was delish. The baked potato was done the right way.
Our server, Chris, was excellent.
Delicious food, great service. Great choice for lunch. Also, the Peach Bellini was the best ever!
Great service and food! Croissants are the absolute best ever!! Light, flaky, sweet...totes delish!! My son and good friend had our annual "3 amigos" xmas dinner in January. We had the beat time because everything was perfect! Food is always done very well! Can't wait to come back!!
Charleston’s is a trusted go-to for my husband and me. Consistently good food and service. Pleasant atmosphere.
Place was packed and that tells you there good but adds to high noise level Great place great value.
Our servers were efficient and prompt with our cocktails, food and wine. The shrimp scampi and the Charleston’s salad with croissant were delicious. In the past we have had the prime rib sandwich and the chicken piccata. Those dishes are equally as good.
Great experience—little pricey for lunch
Nothing special. Waitress was too soft-spoken, didn't explain things well, disappeared for long stretches. BBQ ribs were barely warm. Had to ask for bread. Beverage (soda) served without ice cubes.
Not sure what's happened to Charleston's, service-wise. Whether there's been a change in management, or some kind of overall shift in customer service philosophy, the service is just not there.
Servers and management all seem to be on some sort of "autopilot" setting.
The enthusiasm and attention to detail that we came to love previously is noticeably absent now.
The food is still good, but, as with any dining-out experience, food is only part of the equation.
Probably won't be going back to Charleston's anytime soon.
Always a good evening out! Food is delicious. Service was really good for New Years Day!
Just a nice dinner before a movie on NYE
Our family is trying really hard to try new places. I really wanted to love Charleston's. We started off with a spinach artichoke dip. It was just OK. The little ones had Mac & Cheese and Grilled Cheese. The Mac & Cheese was at least fresh (not boxed), and the meals (kids meals) was a good deal for the price. My older daughter had a burger. It was so over cooked, she could barely bite into it. It was also $16, which I feel is a little steep for a burger. My husband had the chicken fried chicken. He said it was good, however not amazing, as our server stated. The mashed potatoes were excellent, though. I had the salmon salad. The salmon was delicious. The salad on the other hand was very plain. I asked our server to bring me some additional tomatoes (maybe some avocados and capers would help). Overall it was just OK but a little disappointing.
