This was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Extremely disappointing. First, after requesting a table by the window through opentable AND speaking with their staff over the phone in advance, my table was not reserved. When we arrived we had to wait and then were given a table near a window near their bar. People were standing next to our table the entire dinner bc it was beside the bar. Every time we’d ask someone to move more people would fill the space. We were told we’d have to wait once more to be moved! The second issue is the portions you receive are laughable. If only I could leave 0 stars here. The menu says it comes with sides but that’s beyond laughable. For a $77 meal my wife and I were left still hungry. She’s 5’2” & 105lb and I’m 5’10” 155. That should tell you how weak their portions are. While the taste of the food (red snapper & Swordfish) was ok it was still PATHETIC portions for $77. Lastly, it took 40 minutes to cook 2 pieces of fish. The only reason I gave service a 2 Stars was bc our server apologized for the wait. You are paying for a view...nothing more. Unfortunately, this location deserves better. It could be special but it’s just sad. As a local, there are tons of better places to eat. Don’t waste your money or time here. Fleet Landing, if you want to eat on the water, puts this place to shame for example.

If you want to enjoy the beautiful view and very decent service, this place is your choice. If you want good seafood, choose something else.

The food was just ok. Had the crab cake sandwich and it was very mushy and had multiple bits of crab shell in it. My hubby has the southern fried chicken sandwich and it was very bland. Service was good.

Thanksgiving Dinner....reservations at 7:30 for 2. We chose this restaurant because they advertised a “Thanksgiving Menu”. Sat down on time. Given menus. Waitress comes back to take appetizer order. Clams on half shell and bisque for appys. She comes back several mins later, no appys. We ask about where the Thanksgiving menu is. “The Turkey is all gone”. Disappointed, we ask her to come back. She says she’ll get the appys and be back. She comes back and states they are shucking the 3 clams now. She asked if we decided on dinner....I order the surf and turf. “We are out of the surf and turf, as well as the chicken.” Getting more disappointed, I ask her to just get the appys for now. She walks by a few mins later, says, “I checked and your clams are being shucked now.” (How long does it take to shuck 3 clams and pour a bowl of bisque?). After sitting for 30 mins, we left and went to the hotel bar (The Reel Bar) where we were greeted with a friendly bartender and some pretty good bar food!

My mom flew in from Chicago for Thanksgiving and when we arrived for dinner we were informed that they ran out of turkey. Enough said?

Our server (she was pregnant) was amazing and such a sweetheart! Our food was TERRIBLE. Calamari had no flavor at all, soup was served cold, crab cakes were so fishy and no lump meat at all, Filet Mignon were ordered med rare but served med well, lobster tails were so small and SO overdone. Server was great and took off the calamari and soup though. Best part of the meal was my Mac n Cheese but even that was served room temp. For the $240 bill, I would expect far superior food. They were also out of like everything. Definitely will not be returning based off food quality, not service.

The Tuna Poke was not anything great. But the main courses were excellent. The Grilled Salmon with Tomato Pilaf, Carrots and a perfect spiced yogurt was delicious. The Charleston Shrimp and Grits were one of the best on the coast.

The staff was very accommodating to our 10+ group, rearranging tables to seat us all together. The wait staff was outstanding! The kitchen staff had all the food prepared and the wait staff delivered all the selections together so we all had our food at the same time. First time ever I have experienced this with a group this size! The food was excellent, the portions/value were spot on. Now one of my special dinning places.

This is the third time eating at the restaurant, and by far the most disappointing.
Drinks and appetizers came out extremely slow, and the Oysters, $17.00 for 6, is ridiculously over priced. Our waitress was great, but we don't know where the problem was with service.
My wife's meal was perfect, which was the special of the day. My swordfish was overcooked and the fennel was cold, plus the piece of fish was the smallest portion you could imagine on a plate.
Our guests were first timer's and the surf n turf came out with three little pieces of meat and four small shrimp on a bed of potatoes. The sea scallops were actually good size and the plate was a good portion.
It might be a long time before we go back, which is sad because it is a great place for ambiance.

Best view in all of Charleston. Food was great. I have also been there for Happy Hour and have booked several events there as well. The staff at the restaurant and The Hotel Can't be beat. THE VIEW IS AMAZING.

We were very disappointed. We made reservations in advance and upon arrival told we had to eat in the noisy bar with a 6 year old because the whole dining room had a private function. Their actual menu is probably 1/4 the size of the one on their website. After serving the soup, the main course arrived. We asked for dessert and were told our first choice was sold out , at 6 pm! The server then recommended a piece of the chocolate cake, which we later discovered cost $14.!!! Wow, what a mess...

This was my 2nd time going in a short period and I didn't find the food to be as good - not sure why. I was excited to order the Seafood Tower/Castle (the smaller one) and I did not think that it was worth the value. The oysters were small, the shrimp was highly overcooked and some of the items were frozen which made me think it wasn't fresh. I would definitely NOT get this again.
The fish of the day was however good.
Not sure if I would go back for awhile - it was sub par for me this time and I was excited to bring my out of town friends here for dinner.
The view as always is stellar!! That you can't deny!

Waiter forgot to bring the appetizer we'd ordered and we had to ask for a couple items. Food took longer than expected, especially with only a few customers dining. Probably won't go back again for some time.

Was looking for a restaurant that overlooked the water. This restaurant filled the bill. Looked out over the water and could see the USS Yorktown. Food was fresh and tried a new fish called a beliner that was very tasty and was prepared expertly. Waitress was a college student who was very friendly and attentive.

Had lunch here with two friends. We all had the crabcake sandwich which was excellent...all crab and very little filler. The ice tea was the best we had all week in our visit to Charleston. The server was fantastic. My friends couldn't decide between french fries and the Cole slaw for their side and she arranged for them to get half and half. The temperature was perfect. We didn't freeze from the air conditioning.

We went to the Fish House for our anniversary and the experience was phenomenal. My dinner (that evening’s special of bacon-wrapped scallops with rice and spinach) was simply amazing! My husband’s meal was delicious as well (surf and turf), and the chocolate lava cake rounded everything out perfectly. Drinks at the Bridge Bar before dinner with a beautiful sunset over the Charleston harbor and the exquisite dinner food made for a wonderful dining experience.

Food was excellent though there were noisy adults and children at a surrounding table. It is not a place for a low key, low noise dining experience. The cheesecake was disappointing, as we've tasted much better at lowerscale restaurants. The view was lovely and service was great so we would go back when visiting the Charleston area again.

Delicious! We had the salmon with tomato rice pilaf and spiced yogurt along with the lobster bisque soup and both were amazing. It is a must!

They were clearly not ready for the number of guests they had. Our appetizer took 40 minutes to arrive, along with the hush puppies that usually come as the bread course. Fried calamari was bland and the sauce had no flavor at all. Our dinners were decent, though nothing special. Our waitress was responsible for at least 8 tables and even though she hustled, couldn't keep up. Overall pretty dissapointed.
