Good food, atmosphere and service. Great view of the water.
Worst experience I’ve had a Charleston a Restaurant the Menu doesn’t match the open table I requested certain items was told it was unable it is a seafood restaurant with no seafood manager was unfriendly didn’t care told us to find a different restaurant in Mount Pleasant to go to we wanted more items
New Year's Eve dinner during covid so cannot be too harsh....Food was excellent and location is great, service was OK, they were out of a few items and there wasn't a drink list. Overall, I would recommend but it's definitely a casual spot and probably better during the daytime to enjoy the view.
The item ordered was prepared differently than the menu said it was. Which was a problem as it made the food become allergic to a member of the party.
The company did fix it, but it took a while, I am assuming it was not first on the agenda for the kitchen staff afterwards.
Lovely seafood restaurant. We ate Christmas dinner and had the sweetest server.
Dinner was wonderful.
The food was excellent! I had calamari and the scallops entree. The view overlooking the harbour was beautiful. It was on Christmas day, so the small staff was really multi-tasking. She sometimes forgot the our table.
Our food was very good and our server Isabelle was excellent and very attentive.
It was a very nice experience- Christmas Day Lunch. Our server was fun and our reservation was perfect.
Holiday getaway
Amazing meal. Attentive staff! Great views! Wonderful evening.
Excellant location, food and service. Would highly recommend
Booked a reservation just an hour before my date and was sat right next to a beautiful fireplace and a window. Service was excellent and the food... pricey yes, but the salmon was definitely worth it.
When we arrived for our reservation at 7:00pm on Sunday, December 13, 2020, as confirmed in the reservation, we were very surprised to find the restaurant closed and dark. We found that they had established a new schedule of being open for dinner on only Tuesday-Saturday evenings. This was very embarrassing, as we had invited guests to dine with us, and we were all from out of town. We had to locate another restaurant at the last minute. Neither the restaurant’s website nor Open Table had accurate information about new hours of operation. This needs to be corrected ASAP!
I took my husband for his birthday. They sat us next to the fireplace overlooking the harbor. Our server was awesome and the food was delicious. It was perfect.
Very clean restaurant with great service. I would have added more stars but the portions were small for the price.
Thanksgiving dinner
It was a beautiful night to watch the sunset over Charleston. The bartender, Chip was the best and our waitress was as well. Prime rib was a little tough, but the scallops were wonderful.
First this is a very scenic restaurant with the main dining area bring open with screens. Provides and open air feeling. The upstairs has a bar with beautiful scenes of the River and The USS Yorktown at Patriots Point. Tables are spaced out, too. Impressive with the cleanliness, the setting, the view, the staff and the food. The Grouper was great, crab cake a hit, the Turkey Dinners for Thanksgiving were very good. A different Thanksgiving for our family but very good food and setting. Easy to get to from Charleston Historic District and on Patriots Point. Easy to recommend to visitors.
My husband & I had a wonderful experience. The food was outstanding & the service was great!
Great food and service but not quite the night water experience I was hoping for
The lunch menu was very small and limited. Would not recommend unless you want to try dinner. Food was good but they didn’t have much to offer for lunch.
The seafood is fresh, prepared and served well. The view is outstanding.
Best cole slaw I ever had. I don’t recommend the crab cakes.
The view is stunning, and our server was courteous and attentive. The food however was missing any kind of seasoning, and my whole party felt the portions were much smaller than expected for the price. Most of the clientele is older and everyone was dressed very casually. I guess I was just expecting more.
Great atmosphere and even better food! Will always send business their way!
Excellent, the Salmon melted in my mouth. My Husband had steak The New York Strip and Sauted Srimp. We traveled from Atlanta and the food and service was amazing.
The food was overly priced for the small amount of food and the server was barely there.
Everyone thought that their food (Caesar salad, scallops, she crab soup, salmon, and grouper) was excellent. While not crowded, it was nearly an hour from order to delivery with no sign of our waitress between. That set a negative tone. As usual the view was spectacular and the prices a little on the high side. Will still recommend it, and continue to dine there.
We had a good dinner, but not great. Peel and eat shrimp were okay but not that fresh. The bisque was served lukewarm. We sent it back. My wife had roasted grouper on risotto- pretty good. I had the roasted scallops. Sadly the scallops were undercooked. I brought them home to eat later. Wine was good. Ambiance was really good. Dessert was good. Our sever was adequate but Stepford. ("my pleasure" ... No feeling or interest). She'd make better tips if she connected with customers.
The worst was not being able to get out of the damn parking lot due to the crappy exit gate. We were stuck for 5+ minutes before another car let us out.
Very impressed with the staff and the atmosphere. The Grouper was delicious. Very well cooked. My wife had the hamburger due to seafood allergies. She said it was very good. All in all was a very good dining experience.
Great view of Charleston, very friendly and helpful service , well prepared delicious meal.
Had a great meal! Thank you! We like to eat here when we stay at the beach club
The view was awesome. The service started out good. The server was friendly. Aps came quickly (brussel sprouts were delicious), but people that arrived 20-30 minutes after us got their meals 20 minutes before us. We had to ask our server what was going on before she realized it. When our food finally came, the grouper was tough and the scallops were flavorless. With 4 glasses of wine our meal was $160+. Too much to pay for marginal food. They were kind enough to comp us a bottle of wine which was appreciated but we were really looking forward to some good seafood.
Beautiful setting. Food was lovely. Views make the ambience, fabulous
The place, the ambiance, and the food were all wonderful! Would highly recommend just for the view itself. Everything we ordered was delicious. (The soup, however, came out lukewarm and was a bit thick), but everything else made up for it.
A bit on the pricey side, but would still go back.
The view was stunning and breaktaking. Even on a rainy day, that was the outstanding.
Great food and great view on the porch! Seemed to be good with social distancing and wearing masks. Would definitely go back again.
The food was excellent. The waitress was very pleasant and allowed us the time for a relaxing dinner. Will definitely be back!
My husband and I went here for a casual dinner overlooking the USS Yorktown - the views did not disappoint! I would’ve loved to have had more of an ambiance for a Saturday night but altogether it was great!
We will be back. Had a great dinner enjoyed the view of the harbor.
