Chardonnay's Ratings and Reviews
Excellent choices on the 2 for $24 Tuesday menu. Our waitress was very friendly, extremely professional. Can't say the same for the server who delivered the meals. He put dishes in front of people without asking if it was the meal they ordered. Unfortunately, one member of our party ate a portion of someone else's meal before realizing it was the wrong dish. Staff needs further training on delivering meals and making sure everyone has the correct meal.
The food was absolutely incredible but something should be done about the lighting and the noise. It is extremely loud and some tables in the restaurant are completely dark. My friends and I had to use the flashlight app on our phones just to see the menu. If not for such a wide variety on the menu and the food being so good we probably wouldn't go back.
I had the filet which was amazing. My date had the kabob trio which he also loved. Our waiter was attentive and you could tell he loved his job which made us appreciate him even more. I “skipped” dessert and had “the Christina” martini which was to die for...I may have actually had two 😊. We definitely will be back.
The staff were pleasant and courteous, the wine list is adequate, the menu has a good diversity and selection of food including a small plates menu. They have a Tuesday $24 menu and it is a good value. The dessert was excellent and the Calmari appetizer was on par with what is served at the Grist Mill.
Always jam packed for dinner on the weekends so we made reservations and waited 30 minutes, same as if we just showed up. For a while we thought they might have forgotten to put in our order but it finally showed up after about an hour. It was tasty except for the dessert pizza, which was actually flavorful but the dough/crust was chewy - some people might like it that way. Even though we got a great table in a little nook area, it was still super loud. It is a great place but I think I'll avoid at dinnertime on the weekends.
The restaurant was very busy when we arrived for our 6:00 pm reservation. Pizza was ordered by two people in my family. They loved it. The Kabob Trio was delicious. There were grilled shrimp, scallops and steak on skewers which was served on a bed of rice. We shared a seasonal dessert - Pumpkin Bread Pudding. It was served warm and had a scoop of vanilla ice cream on one side and some whipped cream on the other. Our server was attentive and checked on us several times while we were there. We will be back!
Ok, I went against all my rules but had no option. Prime time dinner reservation on Friday night. Parking options TERRIBLE as had to drive around the bldg and area for 15 mins while my date waited inside. 3rd time dining here and decided BY FAR it is the LOUDEST restaurant I have ever dined in, and it isn’t even close. Service was “fair” at best, but the food was good. Good, not great. If return again, it certainly won’t be anywhere close to prime time, but that’s a pretty big “if”. Not a bad place, but 4+ stars on Open Table? Come on now.
I recently went here to celebrate my birthday. It was crowded and a little loud when we got there but in no time at all it cleared out and the noise level was diminished. The service, good and cocktails were excellent. The sangria was huge and the filet cooked to perfection. And the Smores ice cream cake was split between the 3 of us and was the perfect ending to the perfect celebration.
Chardonnay's is always busy for dinner. I used Open Table to get an 8:30 pm dinner reservation for my wife and I. We were seated around 8:40 and promptly greeted by our waiter. He was attentive and easily answered our questions about the menu.
The food and drinks were delicious as always. I highly recommend this restaurant, just make sure to have a reservation or be prepared to wait a significant amount of time for a table. The bar area is big and seating opens up more often if you don't mind eating at a high top table or the bar.
Visited Saturday 9/9. I have been to Chardonnays prior to tonight and had a great experience. I couldn't wait to bring friends here for the first time. Boy did I make a mistake!!!! Tonight was terrible service, cold food that we waited over an hour for. No apology except a quick one 45 minutes into the wait and an offer for chips and salsa. No management apology no followup on how our food was. After this I have no intentions of visiting anytime soon. Disappointed.
I have been coming to chardonays for years. Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes for our appetizers. The food was so so not up to par for sure. I guess there was a problem in the kitchen
The mgr did comp our apps but I was very disappointed with the food it was cold.
Not to mention I had my (senior) parents with me and they were very tired and hungry .
Not the waitresses fault she was great I guess it was just a bad nite for chardonays
I Will go back but my parents will not😳
This was my second visit to Chardonnay's. Unfortunately my first experience was way better than my second. I ordered the Authentic Pizza, which is delicious. My first visit the pizza was perfect. However, my second pizza was completely burnt, especially the bottom of the pizza. Everything was burnt and dry, and I'm shocked that they would send that burnt of a pizza out to customers.
