   I was very disappointed with the food—it was not good. The food was very salty. The shrimp and lobster were dry and tough. I did not like the shredded short rib, which should have been more for the price. The dessert had tiny portions. I will not be going back.

   First time visit for us for lunch on a Sunday to this fairly new restaurant in our area. We were warmly greeted by the young ladies at the reception desk and seated in a booth in the bar area. We ordered a Caesar Salad and Chicken Club Sandwich. Then we were sold on a $40 Lobster Mac and Cheese that my wife couldn't eat because there were bacon bits in there. The food was good and the ambiance was good. The service was good until the forced error by the server, who apologized profusely. Maybe this could serve as a teachable moment for him? Wondering if the bar is running Happy Hour Specials?

   Food was delicious and menu is fantastic. The yellowfin tuna was made perfectly and flavors were great. All the apps we tried were also very good. One of the best calamari's I've had. Ambience is sophisticated and trendy but the noise level in the dining room made it almost impossible to have a conversation. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely go back. Maybe at a less busy time so the volume isn't so distracting.

   I ordered the surf and turf. The lobster tail was the best I've ever had. So often they are chewy. This was a wonderful texture. The steak was delicious, although a bit too salty for my taste. The service was top notch. This is definitely a special occasion restaurant as the prices are steep for my wallet. I will visit again!

   Our waitress Leah was awesome. She explained everything and made expert recommendations. The food was amazing. We will definitely be going back..

   We recently tried the new location in scotch plains for first time. Well, the food was quite good, the service really took away from the whole experience. We were faced with a constant barrage of upselling from our waitress, which I've never experienced before in any other restaurant. I was even being pressured because the cut of my steak was not large (read: expensive) enough. It was not enjoyable to have someone constantly pressuring us to maximize our bill so for this reason we would not return again.

   Our waiter was excellent. He could have used a bit more support from the rest of the team--waited about 45 minutes for bread and water glasses were refilled only upon request. The steak was phenomenal. The crab cake and calamari appetizers were excellent and good-sized portions. The cocktails at $18.95 each, I felt were pricey. Was disappointed to see the credit card surcharge on the bill with no prior signage, menu note or warning (or maybe I missed it). Since paying is the final phase of the experience, it did leave a small, unpleasant aftertaste.

    The food and the service were excellent, however, the noise level was so uncomfortable, couldn't wait to leave. Would have stayed for another drink or dessert but it was too loud. Gluten-free options are very limited.
