    A few friends and I met for dinner. We all have dined at Char several times. The blueberry lemon drop was SUPERB!!! Filet was delicious as always, however the loaded mashed potatoes were not. They were not warm and the taste was kind of blah. No flavor and could not tell they were ‘loaded.’ Our server was awesome!!! (Sorry, cant recall her name, but she wore glasses and had colored braids in her hair).

    Everything here is outstanding! Starting with the appetizers to desserts and drinks included, the whole dining experience was great. Our waiter was engaging and very helpful. He suggested my new fav...crab claws. When I return to Memphis, I plan to dine there again.

    Service was far from great. Our waiter kept forgetting our order and took forever to put in drink orders or to do anything really. My bone-in ribeye was way under cooked as well.

    You guys need to train your waiters better. Ally I think is her name touched my husband twice while talking to us. I get the southern hospitality but it was rude and made us both uncomfortable. We left in a rush and spent under $70 to get out of there quick smh -Ashley Banks

    Service was extremely slow and our waiter would disappear for extended periods of time. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted water and it took over 10 minutes for him to bring it. Drinks took even longer. The food was just ok, not what I would have expected for the price. We ordered a fillet and a ribeye. The fillet was good and cooked correctly but the ribeye was way overcooked, ordered medium rare and received medium well.

    Char always has a 10/10 rating when I visit. Super professional and the steak and crab claws are out of this world!! I would highly recommend getting the blueberry lemon drop cocktail,it’s sooo delicious! Char never disappoints ‼️
