   Overall the experience was fantastic, which has been the case every time we have visited Char in Huntsville. The food was great, except for fries that were soggy and not so warm. However, the steaks and crab claws were excellent and the service was even better. We will definitely be returning.

   Our first experience at Char was great. Our waiter was Michael, who was very knowledgeable of the menu and made some great recommendations. Both my wife and I had steaks and they were cooked exactly how we ordered them and tasted excellent. The prime NY strip was almost 3 inches thick but they nailed it medium rare. I also opted for a "smoked" old fashioned which was amazing. It's also worth noting that the location is very easy to get to and then in/out of being right off of Hwy 231. I look forward to going back very soon and trying out some other menu items.

   The crabcakes are the best ever. No filler, all crab. We had the veal oscar and the seafood carbonara. Both meals were amazing! Our server was Brian and he was excellent. He recommended a wine to my wife that she loved. Definitely my go to place for any special occasion. It was our 47th anniversary.

   Great food and service! We dined at about 3:30 for a late lunch-early dinner. We were disappointed that daily lunch specials weren’t available then. The only complaint we had was the room temperature- it was freezing. Would definitely recommend!

    Food, and service was amazing. The only thing I would change is a little less charging on the crab cakes, some bites had more char flavor than food. Would go back anytime.

    Went here for a birthday celebration. The filet was the best I have had ... juicy, tender, and nice size! Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes. Server was attentive. Will definitely go back.

    The best filet I’ve had in town. We had the fried green tomato and shrimp starter. Both delicious. Drinks were excellent from the bar and wait staff was on point…there when we needed him but as if on cue only when we needed him. Will return!

    So it was Mother's Day and the place was crazy, as expected. Unfortunately, it was so loud that I couldn't hear the live music. Chuck did a great job serving. My wife's entire "red fish" dish was cold but I didn't know until we left....it was too loud and she was on the far end of the booth. My son was disappointed in the serving size for his dish. I think everyone else (including me) was happy. My daughter thought y'all should serve bread....she says like everyone else. Unfortunately, since my wife was unhappy we will cancel our June anniversary dinner at Char.

    My husband and I were celebrating his 60th birthday! He had steak and baked potato with a salad. I had the seafood carbonara. Both dishes were excellent! Our server Evan was great. He took great care of us! I will definitely recommend CHAR to friends and family!

    Seated promptly and had a good quiet table. Menu is varied with lots of different options. We have a prime rib sandwich, a char burger, and seafood pasta. The sandwich and burger were outstanding. Good portions and well cooked. The seafood was not quite up to my expectations. It was very bland. Pepper did not help. Portion size was good. Service was great and server was very attentive and professional. Great dinner.
