We shared three excellent appetizers and a bottle of wine. There was great live music in the lounge starting at 7pm. Our waiter had a good sense of humor and gave excellent service.

Paid “market price” for a whole belly clam dinner which was nothing more than clam strips - big difference. Since we were part of a large group in town for a wedding and it was recommended we expected better. Very disappointed.

Prices are not as “friendly” as they used to be, but the food is great. The crab cake appetizer is more than enough for dinner. Excellent! Very nice service.

Waitress was overwhelmed, manager screaming at her. She forgot to put in our order so we waited over two hours and finally took our meal as takeout. Missed the beautiful sunset we'd planned to see on our last night at the Cape.

We ordered apps and entrees for four people. Waited about thirty minutes or so and everything came out at once and most of it was cold. Our server was obviously new because we had to call him over for everything.

Be aware they add a 3.95% convenience fee even if you pay in cash. 26 dollars for a pasta dish is definitely on the high side so be prepared for the high prices.

My family & I went to Chapin’s Bayside for dinner tonight … I have been calling ahead to get options for my daughter as well as using the find me gf app all week. The menu said they could replace the pasta for “gf” pasta . We asked if the kid’s cheese pizza could be done gluten free but she seemed unsure so we did not want to get . We ordered two bowls for both of our girls with butter and cheese. My daughter (who has celiac) ate about half her meal when the waitress came over and informed me that the pasta was not gluten free. She offer a burger patty or piece of grilled chicken for my 4 year old . They took the meal off the check and discounted our food - however I don’t really care about the money, it’s the safety…. The waitress apologized , however no manager ever came over. Just feel really disappointed and upset because I trust when telling someone we have an allergy that they would take extra precautions, which they did not ! I just called , asked for the manager. After leaving because I just was very disappointed. I Was told both the two managers were not there and that there was only the bar manager. He informed me that there was a lack of bill, he had taken money off the bill, gave me “his deepest condolences” . Just feel disappointed. I trust a waitress when I share we have an allergy and expect it to be taken seriously.

The food choices were all delicious. The noise level was insanely loud, like being at a rock concert and a football match. Our server , Hannah, did a great job juggling way too many tables and still getting drinks and most food requests to us. Service was very slow, took a very long time to get our main courses. Parking was a big problem for some of our table. Why don’t you have your valet staff drive the cars down to the beach when your lot fills up? They’re young and mobile…

The restaurant is loud. Very loud. They redid it in hard wood - and did not do enough to address what now sounds like a factory floor. It’s a great place to go but they should invest in TRIPLE the sound treatment they currently have.

Very loud! Not much separation between bar and dining area. We sat in the dining room and could barely hear ourselves. Caesar dressing was severely lacking flavor.

Had dinner here while on vacation. Thank goodness we had a reservation ! The restaurant and bar were packed! Our waitress, Tess, was wonderful - kind & polite. She went above & beyond to answer questions we had about the menu, asking the chef and manager just to be sure about some items due to a food allergy. An appetizer listed on the menu as gluten free is apparently not gluten free (spicy shrimp tostada). A bit disappointing since we really wanted to try it but Tess made sure for us, thank goodness! Overall, the food was good, service was great, valet car service was a blessing. We will definitely go back.

This was an unexpected surprise. It was the only place in the area that could accommodate 7 people at 6:30 PM. The food was good and there was live music, which made it for a memorable night. I'm definitely taking my family and friends back.

Good food but poor ambiance on the back outside patio. It was a cool night but their heaters were not working so they need to be replaced. Not very usable when it is cool at night.

Very helpful staff to seat a party of 8 outdoors. Patio was nice seating, the food was amazing! We recommend the Tuna Cones, Fried Calamari and Fried Scallops. Also, Chapin’s has a lot of gluten free options, including the calamari.

When we sat for dinner it was a long wait for drinks for us and the kids and not a lot of checking in to see if we’d like another etc. Perhaps understaffed, but disappointing for the price.

Overall good experience. From parking to leaving. We chose to sat outside because inside dining was very loud. I have a food allergy and our waitress was knowledgeable and was not afraid to ask the kitchen specifics if we needed it. Food was delicious. Would definitely go back.

We had an amazing dinner. Our server Vanessa was outstanding! We were a party of five with a toddler and she went above and beyond to take care of all our needs. Sat on back deck, nice atmosphere. Busy- could tell our waitress was doing her best but we had to wait a while to put in our drink order. Overall fun atmosphere, good place for families, not the best lobster roll I’ve ever had but pretty good. Valet parking!

Our server was fantastic. Food was fast, fresh and hot. Cocktail list is extensive and inventive. The music was entertaining and made for a fun and lively environment, the bar and restaurant was filled with the most casual beachgoers to more dressy groups, from families and couples to groups celebrating events. It was a great night.

Food was horrible. My fries were soggy and the tacos were basically cabbage with 2 pieces of mediocre steak! service was ok. Won’t be back
