Chicken Enchiladas were good. Birria taco very salty. Shrimp flautas bland.
Chantico was amazing. Food
= amazing. Atmosphere = amazing. Price = well worth it
We had a wonderful meal. Everything from the food to service was amazing! Our server was attentive but also gave us time to talk and catch up without interrupting us often. She brought out a birthday dessert for me, just as a nice gesture without anyone asking. She was very thoughtful! We will definitely be back! Thank you!
Great food and service in a beautiful, modern setting.
Beautiful restaurant! I’m really looking forward to coming back when the weather cools down so I can enjoy the patio. The service was great, and except for the guacamole which was just okay, the food was really good. Overall a really nice place. We’ll be back.
As always the food and service was great!
Outstanding food and service...overall excellent experience at Chiantico...thank you!
Highly recommend the Halibut Ceviche. Drinks were delish as well. My favorites were Unicorn Tears & The Fade Away
Great food and service
Great vibe, great food. The service wasn’t bad, just not personable? But I’ve read reviews beforehand that said that and it was spot on. Oh well, this place is legit for date night.
The tacos are amazing same with the appetizers but they are introducing a new dessert menu that isn’t it. Bring back the choco flan!
Very nice setting with nice artwork on the walls. The $11 guacamole was way too small for the price. My enchiladas were good but I think they sat under the heat lamp too long as the edges were crispy. Drinks are also overpriced.
Great food and atmosphere, our waitress was very helpful with suggestions for our first time there. The green salsa was phenomenal, the ceviche was a great appetizer as well and the green chicken enchiladas were amazing.
Live this restaurant. This time the halibut was flavorless but thanks to good sauce I liked it
This was my 3rd visit to Chantico - this time to celebrate my sister's birthday, and she had a fabulous experience, too! Mom, Sis and I got a fun booth table in the bar area, and our server was Haley. Haley was an awesome server and has a great personality. She made my sister feel special with a birthday shot and dessert surprise. The food is always amazing at Chantico - every bite! I mean, when have you ever had a tempura avocado chuck carefully placed into your sweet potato taco - surprise!! Continue to love their sangria, chips, green salsa, guacamole - the basics that aren't basic at all. Highly recommend Chantico!
Great vegan options. Food is amazing! We will definitely come back
New restaurant by the owner of Ocotillo. Parking is a bit difficult and a reservation is a good idea. The food and the drinks are high quality and delicious. They're busy and because of that, servers get a bit stressed out. Service is fine but you get that feeling that they are just trying to get through it.
Love their cocktail menu. The guacamole is great. I particularly enjoy the spicy shrimp that comes in a taco and also in the relleno. Nachos are so big that you won't eat anything else at the meal or in the next few days.
food was amazing and the presentation was on point. went for my moms bday dinner and they gave her an amazing flan
This is a gorgeous establishment. Seriously looks like something out of architectual digest. The food was pretty good, chips/salsa/guac was pretty standard but tasty. I had their barrio taco (ok), fish taco (great), and a shrimp taco that was the special of the day which was the best out of all 3. Our server was good but man the hostess was rude, I almost actually left she was that off-putting. The first person to greet you in an establishment should at the very least acknowledge your presence. Regardless, it was a good meal and good night and I would return.
Was expecting more ambience based on other reviews. Food was fair. Guacamole was mediocre. I know it’s known for cocktails but the wine selection was poor
Food was delicious. The only downside is that they didn't have many places to fit a group of 7 so we were outside. We had guests from out of town so they seemed game for the idea, but it was quite hot and everyone at the table was beaded with sweat. No misters to cool things down make the outdoor space virtually useless in the summer months. We were the only table out there for a reason. :)
Service was good regardless and food and drinks flowed perfectly. Will return again for sure and I saw heaters in the patio area for the cold winter day/nights.
lot's of good plant-based options compared to others in the competing space.
Outstanding service, great food and excellent mixology. Very accommodating reception as well when we changed last minute from outdoor to indoor dining. Everyone in the restaurant was having a great time and no wonder with delicious food and charming and friendly servers. Cannot recommend more highly.
The food and service was AMAZING!! Highly recommend this place to everyone. We will be coming back again!!!
Service was excellent. Food was just so-so
Chantico was an amazing restaurant. The cocktails were original and flavorful. The ceviche was extraordinary! It was served in a coconut. The vibe was great and romantic. The servers were very nice and prompt.
This was our second time dining here. The food overall is good, however this time it seemed to be even more greasy than the last time. The service isn't the best. The first visit we sat at the bar and even with the bartenders working right in front of us, it was difficult to get their attention and we had to wait a while to get the check when we were ready to go.
This visit we sat in the east dining room and it took a bit to get the food order in and then as I mentioned before it was extra greasy (puddle of grease around my quesadilla and the whole thing was soggy). Everyone was really nice when we did get service and perhaps they were just overloaded? I'm not sure if they were short-staffed or not? Again it took a while to get the check and get out of there when we were finished.
Overall the design of the restaurant and the vibe is really cool, definitely a place to visit and give a try. I just feel like we left a little underwhelmed compared to our experience at their other restaurant, Ocotillo.
One would expect this place to have a good atmosphere, modern deco, and a good feeling and vibe being one of the newest restaurants in town. INSTEAD what you get is a great entrance way and a single room in the front that fits the exterior the rest and majority of tables are in one room, all booths, all next to each other. It feels like a bad college cafeteria. The food was disgusting, cold, and just awful and the service was even worse. We waited many months for this location to get its groove and get through the "new restaurant' craze before trying. Thinking they'd worked through all the new restaurant issues. They have not! Save your money, and take your business elsewhere, trust me you'll be happier.
Wonderful new restaurant; excellent food and many choices enabling everyone to order what they could eat: vegan, GF et c.
Slow service - they lost the lid to my birthday cake - the food came out extremely late & cold - drinks good but once again 15-20min wait for a drink . The front greeter absolutely trash & rude ! Nice ambiance but the food is blah no flavor - extremely slow service . Closed at 10:30 left at 11 . They messed up a few peoples tickets. I personally wouldn’t go back ever !
We’ve come here twice in one week for two different birthdays but multiple time’s before. This used to be a hip new place right down the street that we loved coming to for the great service and happy hour but since the new year has come it has been nothing but disappointments. We tried coming on multiple different occasions but they told us that they were booked out for the night for reservations at 4 PM while the restaurant was completely empty. As a former server, I completely understood and started making reservations from then on even though I hardly doubted A restaurant that size it was completely booked out with it being so new. I took one friend out for her birthday on Monday and the service was terrible at the beginning she was attentive but as the night went on we were ignored, it took us almost 30 min just to receive our check after only two rounds of drinks. I took another friend here tonight put a reservation in advance since it seems like that is the only way to get into this restaurant, told them that it was a birthday and requested the bar tables/booths. Upon arrival we were told that the bar was full and that we could only sit at the bar top because walk in’s had taken the rest of the bar? Funny for a restaurant that “doesn’t take walk in’s because is fully booked with reservations” every time we walk in. I had to ask the host has to let us sit at the community table until a booth opened up, once a booth opened we took it. The service was all right but went downhill as the night went on, again taking almost 30 min to get our tab/ put in another round of drinks. For a restaurant that is trying to make themselves seem as a pristine, reservation only restaurant they sure are failing in the actual service part of the experience. As a former server Im normally more lenient but this service is truly unacceptable save yourself the time and money and go to Taco Guild, same price, ambience, but better service. Also nothing for either birthday?? Be better
Went for my birthday with family and friends. Wonderful service and food was great. The only slightly negative thing I would say is that it was a little warm inside but could easily overlook as food was so good!
Some of the food was bland and dry. Some was way too spicy. Both of us felt sick afterwards.
Surprisedly Good - will try again
Love this restaurant so much. Great food, drinks and service
The outside bar was not open. It was so quiet and boring! Great company and talk but music was needed. Need more ambience.
Oysters were over priced and not to our liking - chicken was dry - food overall marginal- sangria was fruit punch with no liquor
The restaurant looks a beautiful and feels like you’re at a much nicer, expensive spot. The food was fine, but the service was bad. Unfriendly and slow staff.
Loved the food, the atmosphere and the drinks were great.
