This dinner was booked as a celebration and it was our first time eating here. We were seated in a cozy, high backed booth and immediately served complimentary champagne.
The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. After reading several positive reviews about some of the signature dishes we ordered the lobster cake and were not disappointed. The Caesar salad was equally as delicious. For the main course my husband chose a 12oz sirloin and I ordered the 7oz tenderloin. Both steaks were medium rare and cooked to perfection. For the sides we had the blistered asparagus and split a very large baked potato. Everything was cooked just right. Our only disappointment was not having enough room for dessert.
As for the atmosphere it was a very intimate setting with piped in jazz music. The sound system was a little loud with the bass overpowering. (A speaker or two may need adjustment.) After speaking with the waitress about the sound level they were able to adjust it to a comfortable setting.
Overall it was a very enjoyable quality meal and we will be going back.

My party had some of the best food we have ever had. The macaroni and cheese (truffle ) was beyond my expectations. The service impeccable. Incredibly classy and clean.

We went for Valentine’s Day. Beautiful dining room. Wait staff was polite but did not attend to us enough. Food took super long to come out, about an hour. Lobster was $55 it was small and under cooked and did not come with any sides. I probably should have spent the money on a steak instead. My date felt her chicken was undercooked. The asparagus came with cheese on it that I didn’t care for. The lobster cake was very good and worth every bit of $20. I would go back and get lobster cakes for take out. The caesar salad was full of garlic and the caesar dressing wasn’t very good, heavy mayonnaise taste.

My 2 steaks were great , scallop gritty, and I did not enjoy the one inch wire in my Mac and cheese. They compensated but still I will not be going back

The wife and I went to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We could not have been happier with our experience. From the friendly greeting from the host, to a card signed by the staff at our table, to both the excellent wait staff and food. My wife had the filet and I had the NY Strip. Both were served medium as ordered and were delicious. We were disappointed the herb-roasted mushrooms were not available, but thoroughly enjoyed the baked potato and "blistered" asparagus instead. Loved the atmosphere and would not hesitate to return.

Always a pleasure to dine here. If you love the ambiance and flair of a classic formal steak house, this is your place. Service is spot on but not stuffy. The servers here make the place! Food is expertly prepared and presented. Best of all, it is cooked to order and comes out as you would expect. Wine selections are ample and varied, although they come at an ultra-premium price. (My only minor issue)
We will continue to dine here for many of our special occasions!

Very tasty steaks, side loaded potato was good, but should have come loaded. Not a lot of toppings in it. Still very good though.

Not up to pre covid service for the money. But still a good night out.

My husband and I visited for our 25th anniversary. I have to say it was well worth it! The service was outstanding. Very attentive staff, friendly and prompt. The food was also excellent. I had the seared scallops which were really good. My husband had the strip steak which came with an entire Bulb of grilled garlic which was delicious I even put on my scallops. We also got French onion, salad ( which was great for two) and the sushi roll, which for a non sushi place was really really good. The atmosphere was also very nice. They had the half round red velvet type booths, really romantic perfect for a dinner date and felt very private actually. Overall great experience, worth the cost. We will definitely go back. Also they our server gave us a card for our anniversary, very nice touch.

What a wonderful environment to relax and spend time. I had the wedge salad and it was perfect, great size and just the correct amount of dressing. Next came the onion soup and again, it was just delicious-served hot covered in cheese and not too salty that often happens elsewhere. I next enjoyed a fabulous display of shrimp cocktail, four large (maybe u-10 or 12) perfectly cooked peeled shrimp on ice paired with a sauce that was imbued with horseradish. It was all delightful-whoops-I almost forgot-they have draft beer-I enjoyed one of the local offerings. My wife got a grilled lobster that looked great. Simply to eat as they razor the body right down the middle-no mess to get to the meat. No room for dessert-sorry-next time better planning!

I was there after Chandler's first opened last year and it was good back then. Went back recently and it was very good. Very good steak and seafood in downtown Springfield.. I will be back and soon!

What a wonderful dining experience. We were seated immediately at a charming red velvet banquette. Theresa was our waitress, she was knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make our choices. The lobster cake appetizer was amazing and the garlic shrimp was very good. We chose the special which was Delmonico steak topped with shrimp. Absolutely cooked to perfection and was delicious. Finished with Creme Brûlée that was the creamiest I've ever tasted. Yes its pricey, but so worth it. 👏👏👏

The french fries, as usual, were not great. The base on the sound system was turned up too high. Everything else was good, especially the great service from Theresa.

It was New Years Eve but the restaurant wasn’t full. Service was very slow. We were there for over two hours and time between courses was prolonged. Bar was very stingy with their vodka. Two of us had mixed drinks with vodka and could not taste the vodka. When I voiced concerns they gave me another drink, stating they gave me more vodka but still could not taste it. However I had no issues with the casino drinks they actually had the taste of vodka. Steak was requested to be medium and it was overcooked but still tasty. Another steak was ordered medium well and it was pink throughout. I would be more understanding if it was a full restaurant but it wasn’t.

Make no mistake, this place is expensive, but for the occasional treat, well worth it. When I saw that the steak tartare that led me to select the Chandler for my birthday dinner was no longer on the menu, I was dismayed, but our server asked the chef to make it for me and believe me, it did not disappoint.
We had 3 different steaks, scallops and pork chops and every meal was perfect. The spinach and mushroom sides were amazing. My creme brulee was delightful -- no overly thick sugar crust to chop through. The servers were knowledgable, attentive and accommodating. There is not enough room here for all the accolades and I am quite particular.

Drinks, mac & cheese, creamed potatoes, STEAK...
-My Filet mignon was medium rare perfect and smokey.
-Prime rib was delicious but NOT HOT when served.
-Skirt steak was marinated ~ delicious ~ but it doesn’t need PESTO ON TOP!
The menu doesn’t mention any PESTO ON TOP.
-Creme Brûlée dessert was delicious.
We enjoyed Chandler’s and the MGM Casino on Thanksgiving.

It was a fine experience, but what is displayed as a high-end restaurant, but the number of people coming in with sweatpants was a bit jarring. The food was tasty.

Mediocre dinner at best, extremely small salmon portion for the price, no tableside ceasar salad because there was another banquet?! Overpriced food, lukewarn lobster bisque. Bad experience.

My experience was the worst since they decided to close without telling any of the people that had reservation. So everything was terrible. With no excuse. Would not recommend at all
