Chandlers Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Best dry aged rib eye steak ever. Topped with the Moelle sauce, outstanding! Salad incredibly fresh and well dressed. Very generous amount of crab in the Crab Cocktail. Rosemary Yukon Gold potatoes a delicious side. With a Produtorri Barbaresco 2007 from the wine list, an incredible meal. Dessert was the Fomage Blanc Cheesecake made with goat cheese. The orange zest and goat cheese made this cheesecake light, Wild honey sauce delightfully refreshing.
We split most courses, and even had leftovers.
Excellent , helpful, professional service.
Highly recommend this restaurant. It is a wonderful experience- very classy, but no pretension.
Great for special occasions, even better as a midweek getaway.
We went to Chandlers to celebrate our anniversary. We found the service to be exceptional and really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. We shared the seared Ahi appetizer and it quality of the fish was great. Then we each had a lovely salad, a wedge and spinach. My husband enjoyed the flat iron steak which had great flavor and was cooked to perfection. I ordered the swordfish and again the quality did not disappoint. Living in Idaho we have not found such good quality seafood and were very pleased with our night out. We were surprised for our special occasion with a chocolate souffle which was served with warm melted chocolate and a Grand Marnier whipped cream...delicious! We will definitely be back!
The food and service at Chandlers is always excellent. The ambiance it terrific. The only comment that might be a negative is their wine list is excellent but overpriced for the area. When I am considering either a nice family dinner or business dinner I lean more towards other excellent restaurants in the area for this reason.
As always, Chandlers Steakhouse delivered an exceptional meal for my wife’s birthday dinner. They cheerfully adopted our chosen menu items to meet our many allergy challenges. Jessica, our server, provided outstanding service. Chandlers Steakhouse deserves their reputation as the premier dining location in SW Idaho.
Went to Chandler’s to celebrate an anniversary and could not be more pleased with our experience! Our server was attentive but not overly so, our fillets were served at the perfect temperature and tasted amazing! And the chocolate soufflé just melts in your mouth! Loved it! We will definitely be back!
What an experience! From the moment we walked in to the time we left everything was perfect. Our server Cynthia was awesome and the guy who kept our water filled and bread coming was a blast! The live music was on point. Definitely worth it and we will be returning.
Food was great as usual! Have never had bad service or anything but a great meal here, Chandlers and the entire team do a excellent job, you can go coast to coast and I have and not find better food or service , a true gift to have such a great place like this !
Well done as usual !!
As always Chandlers never ceases to amaze, everything was perfect, service was friendly and professional and the Sommeleir recommended a wonderful wine for us. . We always get the foie Gras, and it is a real treat. My Lobster was PERFECTLY cooked.. And the Wagyu beef was to die for. We always have an enjoyable time. Chandlers is an experience restaurant, if you want to dine like a royal this is the place to go. It was a first time for our company, and they left saying it was the best dining experience and food they’ve ever had. I’d call that a success.
Chandlers is always a pleaser and New Year's Eve was no exception. The food was great with a wide variety of choices on the Prix fixe menu. I had the steak which was perfectly cooked and well paired with sauces. My companion had sea bass which was also terrific.
My cowboy cut steak was delicious and cooked perfectly with our waiter Lucas’s recommendation to ad plus to med rare, because its a thick steak. Because of the prices and the hour drive we would only go on special occasions and maybe not even then. It was our 27th wedding anniversary so we got what we wanted but with tip it was just under 200.00. My husband had 2 glasses of wine and I had a coke so not much of it was liquor.
I was very disappointed because I put everything on my plate I wanted to go home including a baked potato we paid extra for. When I went to have my leftovers all I had was the steak. My vegetables were so good that I was looking forward to those and also my potato, but they were MIA.
I had Lobster bisque soup because it said with lobster and shrimp. I had one piece of lobster so I wouldn’t order that again. It’s too filling to not get what you think you will get.
It didn’t appear that there was anyone waiting for a table, although they were busy, I thought it took way too long to get our courses. And our waiter had to keep apologizing.
Personally I am not a fan of piano music that I dont recognize and is just jazz like, so that was a little annoying to have that in the background.
They asked us if it was a spcial occasion but I’m not sure why. There wasnt a little dessert on the house or anything for it. That would have been a nice touch.
I realize I am sounding negative here, but the food is good, just be prepared for the cost and make it clear what you want to go home with you.
Once again, Chandler's did not disappoint with gracious service, well crafted cocktails, sophisticated setting with live jazz, and fabulous, fresh seafood (oysters, prawns, scallops and tuna that night). Chandler's continues to be one of the top restaurants in Idaho with consistent all around excellence in food, drink, and service that would be competitive anywhere in the nation.
we came for dinner on Dec.17,my husband ordered wagu filet,,,was not wagu to start with, chewy,no marble at all,no taste, extremely dissappointed for a $110 piece of meat..told the waitress she replied she would let management know,,then to start with vallet lost a remote for the car and had to come ask us for another one..after we got home had to spend 30 minutes moving seat around to finally find the one they dropped under seat..have had wagu and kobe many times..what you call wagu is totally pathetic,,that will be our last time to Chandlers
also the staff was annoying coming to table to many times,,,twice is enough
We came in Saturday night to celebrate my 30th birthday and had a fabulous time! Sean was an excellent server, who gave us a wonderful experience! The food was amazing, we had such fresh seafood—a treat in landlocked Boise. We will be back again and recommending Chandlers to all our friends and family. Thank you for an exceptional experience!
We thouroughly enjoyed our company Christmas party at Chandler's Steakhouse.
It was, without doubt, one of the highlights of the year! As usual, the ambiance was perfect. The energy in the restaurant was perfect. It was obvious that everyone dining that night was enjoying themselves to the fullest.
Our experience was unparalleled. From cocktails to dessert every aspect of the evening was perfect.
Our entrees were cooked to perfection and presentation was absolutely beautiful.
The general manager visited our table just to ensure that we were enjoying our evening... Many thanks. I've never had that kind of attention to detail at any restaurant in Boise, Ever.
Our waiter, Sean, was simply first class! He was never overbearing nor neglectful, but served us with the highest level of courteousy. A true professional.
Rex, you have outdone yourself. Your establishment and staff is only superseded by the incredible quality of fare that is served.
Thanks for a GREAT evening and we WILL be back!
