Chan is a perfect balance between modern and traditional Korean Cuisine. I absolutely loved the food, it was so well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and Robin our waitress was extremely helpful in explaining each dish. I am in town for two weeks and I am planning on visiting again with friends.

A group of 5 foodies, we love Chan and love the food. We basically order every item on the menu and share. It was delicious and tummy filling. Though this experience our waitress was a little awkward. We felt like she was shaming our friend for not drinking, she asked for a ginger beer... and the waitress in a very judgy tone said, non-alcoholic... almost with a sign on the end. It didn't make sense and we were turned off the rest of the evening. Not saying she was not kind, but for the amount of food we ordered I was very turned off by how she took care of us. But... I would still come back and I would still eat everything on the menu!

Mostly a "small plates" type of menu, we happened to arrive towards the end of happy hour and took advantage of that to order almost one of everything! The staff were very nice about adapting a few dishes for my kids (i.e. leaving off spicy sauces). Super nice staff, wonderful food

The food is excellent, and the happy hour menu has enough variety to become dinner for two. My suggestion for improving the dining experience here would be to hire one more server. As it is, there is typically just one server covering all of the tables. Though she gets help with food delivery, when the restaurant is full it's just too many tables to manage. With an additional server, the service would match the high quality of the food and the festive atmosphere of this local gem.

Bulgagi sliders were amazing. Braised short rib too. Chicken fried rice was so so spicy but great!

Their menu says that they serve Korean fusion, but it didn't have the complex Korean flavors and it wasn't quite fusion enough. The bulgogi sliders were as fusion as it got. I thought the food was mediocre. Really nice ambiance though and the staff was very sweet.

the hostess and server were fantastic. due to some unforseen complications we were 20 minutes late for our reservation and they happily accommodated us. we had a concert to go to afterwards, so despite the fact that we were late and our time crunch was our own fault the hostess let the kitchen know we were pressed for time and all of our food came out quickly. average food, that was still quite tasty and satisfying, but great service. would definitely go back for a quick bite before a show, and their happy hour is pretty darn good too!

We have been going to Cha:n since it first opened and have loved seeing how popular it has become. Making a reservation was a good idea (it was a Wednesday evening). There were four of us and ordered the bulgogi sliders, rice cakes, mushroom japchae, and the chicken fried rice. We shared them all. They were all super delicious, just like we remembered the dishes to be from the opening of the restaurant. One thing I did notice was that the dishes were saucier than usual. There were more sauce eon the sliders and the rice cakes. I didn't mind but prefer when they weren't as saucy. Overall a great dining experience and can't wait to go back again!
