Great service and good food
Its always great food and service! the chicken sliders are amazing !
Our first time dining out since Covid started and we were very disappointed. We always used to get the nachos and always liked them. Last night nachos they were not good. The toppings were very unevenly spread and there was a thick layer of plain chips with no toppings. Cheese was burnt on top. Also they used to be served on a plate and they switched to a metal tray with wax paper. And they were not hot
Also got waffle fries which were hot but dried out.
This is our new “go to” spot. My husband enjoys the beers and I enjoy the food!
Amazingly quick service and great staff
Everyone was very nice to us. Restaurant was nearly empty so even though staffing was low (Monday lunch) we got the attention we desired. Patio experience was nice. Significant water ponding @ urinals in Men’s room (reported to mgr) and unfortunately computer system crashed while we were waiting for our check to be closed out.
The beer selection is awesome. I had the BBQ Ribs and they were fast ok. They were overcooked and dry. No fall off the bone here.
Good food, casual dining, and super nice waitress!
We came for all you can eat Fish and Chips. First serving was 3 pieces of fried fish and a generous portion of fries and coleslaw. Coleslaw was terrible, way to sour but the fish was absolutely delicious, perfectly fried. Great flavor!!! Fries were nice and fresh and crispy. The tartar sauce was way to sour!! Next serving got 1 piece of fish, delicious. Very good meal!!!
Food is always amazing !
Place was busy but efficient. The beer was really cold and the food was excellent. Will go again!
Mommy & Daughters time
The safety protocol was not followed during my visit. Tables are not spaced out enough, people crowded at the door waiting for the table, and my menu was very dirty. During a pandemic, this is unacceptable. I have reached out to the owner so hopefully they will make immediate changes to make your visit safe.
Our server was amazing. She was attentive and super nice. Food was good but somewhat cold. But tasty.
Was there Friday at lunch time. It was very quiet, maybe only 4 other tables. With that said, the server who also was the hostess had a mask that didn’t cover his nose. It really bothered me, in retrospect I should have left.
Happy to support local business and dine in was such a treat.
Made reservations for 3. We got there 5 minutes before Tim’s and was seated right away. The server was great - gave her our drinks and food order and the drinks came to table in 2 minutes and the food came in about 20 minutes. We will be returning
Had a reservation for 6:15, did not sit down until 6:45. Waitress was terrible, did not inform us of kitchen back up and when I asked for something to munch on while we waited, she said ok I’ll bring chips but never brought it. Did not eat until 7:30. I would not recommend going her unless for take out.
The waitress was really nice, but the silverware was dirty and the table was broken
We went and dined on their patio. Great food great service
Food tasted like frozen meals. The burgers were over cooked. The wings were mediocre. Way overpriced. Waiter was awesome, though.
Creole jambalaya was disgusting. Way too oily, seafood was overcooked, too little rice and got sick from it.
Also, the guacamole was overly spicy with what appeared to be jalapeños all throughout it. No mention on the menu that guac was going to be that hot.
Worst restaurant experience and I have dined here many times. Not likely ever again.
I have eaten at Champs many times over the years, usually quckfood ok for what you pay. My recent encounter was in Collegeville, PA. we arrived on time and were told it would be about a 20-minute wait or we could sit outside. The outdoor seating is on the entry road to the shopping center we asked if we could be seated around the corner. It seems that was not going to work for them so we took our originally assigned seat, next to the busy road. We the usual someone will be right with you. 5 minutes 10 minutes, 15 minutes went by and no one from the restaurant came by. the server brought food to others, so we shared with her we had been waiting, she turned and pretty much walked away We waited until it was 23 minutes from the time we were seated, I walked into the restaurant and told the Manager(?). He was indifferent, I told him we are leaving, and then he asked if we wanted to wait 5 minutes for a new table. Really?? The restaurant wasn't busy. I completely understand the virus has changed eating out. But at the Collegeville PA Service was no existent.
Overall it was a good evening
The service was very slow and that was disappointing
Food here is always good, but its a sports bar, so don't expect Cordon Bleu.
While it was Covid-time, we ate outside... which was nice... the service was awful... there were only 4 tables seated outside and it took 30 minutes just to get our drinks... and another hour to get our food... there were only 3 of us... clearly they have not adjusted to Covid-time service levels.
Burger was awesome!!!
I have always had a great experience at Champps, their food is good, great burgers and the service is always on the ball, another great experience!!!
Did outdoor seating and everything was to our liking. Just a little sad that my top 3 items to eat weren't on the limited menu.
Our server was awesome. She was accommodating with my daughter who had a broken foot. Only complaint- big napkins. Keera has a full rack of ribs and the tiny beverage napkins couldn’t keep up.
So Nice to sit outside! Everyone was super nice and we really enjoyed ourselves!
Menu was a bit limited due to the current circumstances (pandemic) but we had a good server in Lamont and the food was good
The service was amazing and our food was great. Our first time outdoor dining since March due to Covid-19 and I felt so safe with all of the precautions taken by the restaurant, employees, and other guests.
Friendly, very accommodating staff, made it a nice experience even with the precautions due to Covid. Very good experience overall.
Had a party of 10 with out of town family. Has a great time. Food and service outstanding.
Using open table we were able to have our party seated quickly! We had a great night out and enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
We had visited Champps before and were disappointed so we hadn’t been there in well over a year hoping for improvement. We unfortunately were disappointed again! Service was poor and our waiter barely paid attention to us. We complained because my burger roll was soggy and I couldn’t eat it and we didn’t even get an apology from our waiter & we were slightly overcharged for our beer.
Great place to watch a game! Food is above average bar food. The price is right.
