Mother's Day Menus & Specials
it was empty in there but somewhere we waited 45 minutes for spinach dip & tortilla chips, our food wasn’t good, fries were cold, drinks weren’t good & server hardly checked on us. won’t be going back
Always Great food, Great service and a great place to catch a game in a fun environment!
It was quiet and an nice environment food was great too
Great server and manager was attentive and helpful. Food was much better than expected.
Haven’t been here in decades. Definitely not the champs of old. Felt more like a hole-in-wall bar and grill. Reserved through open table. No one was at the hostess station. Waited 15 mins before being acknowledged. Food was subpar. Ordered a fried chicken sandwich, wings & French onion soup. Soup was so bad I had them take it back. Rest of the food was just blah. The noise level was pretty good but that might be due to covid. Prices weren’t all that great for the quality of the food. Probably won’t go back. If you’re into mediocre bar food and just looking for a place to have a couple drinks, this is your place.
Great service and wonderful atmosphere as always!
Megan was an awesome server, she was really attentive and our food was really good! We loved the vodka pasta. Would highly recommend.
We had a large group, food came out sporadically, those who got their food first were done before the last person got theirs. The ahi tuna tacos were not good, 2 of the orders were wrong when brought to the table, the flatbread was no where near flat. I was very disappointed, I had been looking forward to going. I had not been to a Champps since the one at Easton closed, and unfortunately I will not be going back.
We had a great meal. Service was good to. would recommend.
Brandi has been our server the last 5 times we have been here, and she always takes excellent care of us. Ask for Brandi.
Champ's used to be the place to go - food and atmosphere always used to be great. It's been 2-3 years since we've been there, but don't need to go back anytime soon. Our food (pasta dishes) was cold when served, and it wasn't anything more than pasta with a canned sauce poured over top. To pricey for such mediocre food. I am not one to write reviews usually, but I think it's evident they have gone down hill over the last couple of years. Our first clue should have been no wait to get into the restaurant - it always used to be stacked and a half an hour wait at a minimum.
We had a great meal, everything was tasty, and they even gave us a free dessert.
We got seated by the door, keep our jackets on due to cold air when door opened for I coming guests. Had to ask for water twice, wait staff not very attentive
We went on a Sunday afternoon to have lunch with family. The waitress immediately told us that they were short on staff because of the flu and servers calling off. It turned out that our waitress was the manager just helping her staff out. She was fabulous and so was the entire experience. One of the other servers was a former student of mine (that I forgot worked there). They were very pleasant and nice to everyone. The food was great and they even brought ice cream and chocolate sauce to my son - my son has Cererbal Palsy and is unable to eat but loves a taste of ice cream and chocolate sauce. They staff was very kind and again the food was delicious. We will go back.
To date, all of my visits to Champps have been a very good experience. Keep up the good work!
Our waitress was wonderful, she took care of us in every way.
Our visit to Champs was fine. Truly enjoyable as I enjoy the over all atmosphere and the closeness of where I work part time which is The Ohio State University.
However I had a Cheeseburger which was okay...but could have been hotter or warmer at least. The bun it was served on was somewhat stale and "cold".
Service was terrible, always had to ask for refills and food was all cold. Will not be back.
Very average. Service was so-so, food was so-so, ambiance was so-so.
We made a last minute reservation for our youth group’s Christmas dinner (8 teenage girls and 5 adults). The staff was super accommodating and patient, and the manager even threw in some desserts for us...which the girls loved. Thank you for helping us create an awesome memory with our girls!
Fast and friendly service. All the food came out timely. The six of us all enjoyed what we ordered.
We went there to watch a football game and it was a nice atmosphere, service was good especially with them so busy, our waitress was very attentive, food was tasty.
I made the reservation the day before and the table definitely did not accommodate 11 people so we had to switch out a table for another table so a guest had some room for their dinner.
We did not have much time today, and our server made sure we got out quickly. Much appreciated.
Our server was very helpful and friendly and the food was delicious.
Everything was great, we love the sliders, and the prime rib sandwich.
Waited 45 minutes for food which made us late to the show we had tickets for and that was with reservations. The server was less than friendly we asked for a check to come with our meal since we waited so long and it actually came before our meal. I’ve never paid for a meal before I actually ate it! I ordered avocado toast. It wasn’t toasted it was stale. We asked for the manager to get involved and she did comp the meal. But that doesn’t change the fact that we waited 45 min w poor service. Used to be fantastic.
Service was very fast and overall quite excellent, which was appreciated given I had limited time for an early dinner before heading to a movie. Champps burgers never disappoint!
We had a group of about 12 come in for lunch. Our server was told we had a very short time to dine, and she took very good care of us. Portions were Hugh for a lunch, and all food was very good as well.
The vodka pasta dish was fantastic, just enough heat.
Everything tasted good, and the server was quite friendly.
Nicole was our server, and she is AWESOME! will be back just to see her!
Service was very friendly and attentive, helped us with our baby.
I have been going to this Champs location for business meals for quite some time and for some odd reason, todays prepping of the food was awful. I usually get the same salad almost every time and it looked and tasted horrible. Not sure if this is a one time deal, but not a good experience.
Waited an hour for our food.
Food wasn’t warm/ fries undercooked.
Manager wasn’t helpful when we voiced our concerns.
Small portions and a bit overpriced. Not the way it was 5 years ago.
Unfortunately, we didn't pick the best day to visit Champps for lunch with a large group. The service was slow, meals took over an hour to deliver, the server told the table the health department shut down their salad station, so anyone that ordered a salad didn't know their meal wasn't coming for an hour. Several left because of cold food, improper orders, etc. We were celebrating a special occasion, so it pretty much ruined the party.
Service was very good overall as was the food. My only observation is that this was the third time I had made a reservation through OpenTable, each time I announced to the host/hostess of my having a reservation and, from what I could tell, it was never verified or acknowledged. I only got credit on my OpenTable account for one of those visits.
No staff, had to wait about an hour and 20 mins for our food and it was not busy. Watched as people were placed on a “wait” list in which no one was tending too.
We have been to this establishment many times and this was a disappointment. 2-3 food items that were regular on menu were unavailable. Waitress was not courteous and site was run down. Very unsatisfactory especially since this for Fathers Day.
