We all enjoyed our lunch. Will definitely return
As usual we had a great time at the restaurant
Every employee we interacted with was fantastic. This place is a 30 minute drive for me....a drive I will be making more often for sure.
Oysters we ordered had grit and shell flakes not to mention the oyster itself look smaller than a clam.
Main courses were cold and under cooked. Desert was a creme brûlée’s that was made what tasted like last week the sugar was so thick it took a knife to crack it and then it was caked with icing sugar why?!?
The gnocchi was awesome. The best dish on our table.
Pretty much everything was perfect, this was a lovely dining experience. Unfortunately my scallops were charred a bit black but otherwise everything was great. Drinks were amazing, food was of great quality and service was quite above and beyond for Maple Ridge. Will be back!
The Best restaurant, by far, that Maple Ridge has to offer! Enjoyable, casual dining, and excellent service as always!
After getting seated 15 minutes after our reservation. It took 30 minute for me to place my drink order. Then menu was very limited. After ordering it took over an hour for the food to come. Sure glad I didn't order an appetizer cause it would of been alot later. The place looked really nice. The food was mediocre. So the food was over price cause the food was bland.
It was Valentines and we were seated in what seemed to be an overflow area probably because it was such a busy night. Our waiter was excellent and the food was amazing. Our waiter recommended great wine pairing with our entrees. IMO best restaurant in Maple Ridge
One of the nicest restaurants in Maple Ridge in my opinion. Good food, service and atmosphere!
Lovely evening, great food, fair price. Wonderful waitress. One of few great spots in the ridge.
The butternut squash and the shrimp appetizers were wonderful. The atmosphere is lovely. However, we arrived early but were seated at a table closest to the washrooms. It felt a bit like sitting by the washroom on an airplane with a constant flow of people walking by. Before being seated we asked our server if we could move over one table, but were told it wasn’t possible. This table was empty almost the whole time we were there.
I would have liked, after booking the hightop seating, to get that seating. Quality of food was good although quantity of food to price did not equate.
It was the night before Valentine’s Day and we decided to beat the rush. Our evening started well - we had a meat and cheese tray to start and the bartender custom poured a couple of wine flights which we really appreciated. Unfortunately the restaurant then got VERY busy and they were completely unprepared. Our server was run off his feet and it took over an hour to get our entrees. I had the paella which was just alright. My husband’s seafood linguine was good. I feel like if we had been on a less busy night it would have been a much better experience so we will go back again. I believe in giving second chances!
Chameleon has improved. Food wasn’t amazing but a good choice for a maple ridge restaurant.
Lovely restaurant and a very nice downtown setting in the burbs. Food was fabulous!
Delicious food and good-to-great cocktails. Would be 5’s across the board except that my drink was given to the wrong table so it was very delayed, and then separately two other drinks for our table were forgotten and again delayed. FWIW It was blamed on new ordering software, and not a huge deal but clearly can’t award 5 stars for three forgotten/delayed drinks.
We were all so happy with our food and service, highly recommend!!
We were warmly greeted by the hostess who recognized our birthday person and promised him a choice of one of 5 desserts. We were shown a lovely upstairs table. Our waiter took drink orders and returned with 3 out of 4 saying they couldn’t make me a kir royale. I ordered a house white instead and was brought a sparkling wine cocktail which was neither house wine nor a kir royale. 3 out of 4 entrees arrived together (delicious but could have been warmer) but the birthday person had to wait 5+ minutes for his entree. No apology. Took forever to clear dishes after the meal and we pointed out we had theatre tix. Birthday person was brought a cheesecake dessert (without being asked which dessert option he’d like) and coffee arrived at 745 which we had to slam back in 5 minutes in order to make the play at 8. Disappointing service and experience although the food was very good as usual and the hostess very sweet.
Amazing food, atmosphere, drinks, and service. Never fails to impress. My favorite date night spot in Maple Ridge
Amazing food and helpful service, it was a great date night destination.
As usual we had a lovely time there.
For an appetizer we shared the Ukrainian pierogies which are done very well.
For supper my wife ordered the pork tomahawk chop which she really enjoyed.
I ordered the panseared scallops and prawns which I've always enjoyed.
We had no dessert this time we had no dessert this time.
We always try to go there as many times as possible.
Arrived at 7:00; left at 8:30 without having eaten. Our waiter was obnoxious, trying to jolly us along instead of giving service. He blamed the interminable wait on their having lost their head chef last week. He couldn’t find a wine list. Disorganization was the overriding impression. This restaurant lived up to its name Saturday—it changed from bing a restaurant to a disaster zone.
Bday dinner.. everything was great.. love it for a nice calm dinner!
Food was good. The ikea bar stool chairs were awful. You sink down into them and then the table is too high but I’d just ask for a regular table next time instead of the high top
Recently the last few times I have been there, the servers have been questionable. One appeared new so I understand she was nervous and needs time to get used to things. The other appeared more experience but asked if we wanted our bill before we even had a chance to order dessert if we wanted. We declined dessert and wanted to continue our conversation but she then came back 5 min later with a card machine. I asked her if there was a rush as we hadn't even had a chance to look at our invoices. I was not impressed.
Server and everyone else who works there was super friendly and welcoming. Ambience was nice. Food itself was a bit better than okay, but I would still recommend and definitely come back when I get the chance.
As always a wonderful meal and service! We will return very soon!
I never though we have an amazing restaurant @ my area.. The food and service was outstanding!
we went on christmas eve and even though it was empty it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. the waitress was asked if the cauliflower tempura could be made gluten free on top of already being advertised as vegan. she said it could be, but there may be eggs in the batter, even though it was on the menu as vegan!! do not go here if you’re hungry or have food allergies.
Wonderful as always!
Everything was perfectly cooked with great flavour.
I had the halibut special and mussels to start.
Reminded me of a high end Vancouver restaurant My wife and I enjoyed the experience and I would definitely go back for a romantic dinner.
First rate. Would go there again.
It's been a few years since I'd been to this restaurant but decided to revisit with a friend for our annual pre Xmas dinner. Unfortunately I wasn't too impressed. I had to send my gin martini back to be remade. I decided to try the Lobster Mac and Cheese due to rave reviews, but I was disappointed, not exactly what I was anticipating. Our waiter, hovered and interrupted our conversation too much for our liking. I appreciate being attentive, but not to the point where you're continuously interrupting our catch up time. I'll put this night down to a one off and will give it another try, but not anytime soon.
A real surprise in Maple Ridge. Awesome food, great service from Amy! Will definitely recommend and go back again!
Ambiance and service were wonderful, however the cocktails were very bland, as were the dinner rolls. The mussels and fresh oysters were very good as was the blackened chicken. The seafood fettuccini was under seasoned and just average. Prices were quite high for such average food.
Great food and environment made for a fantastic evening with amazing friends ❤️
Great food as always. Lobster tartare is unreal and Scott is an awesome waiter.
We really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. I had some friends from other cities with us and they felt it has a 'downtown' atmosphere. The service was great; I think we had a new server because he hovered a bit but he was great. We weren't super impressed with the main dishes, however so I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to impress my friends with what we had in Maple Ridge. It was fairly mediocre. All in all, it was a nice evening but I hope they step it up a bit in the kitchen; maybe there are too many options.
Our server Ken was amazing and the food came out in stages so we could enjoy the night. The food was incredible and tasted amazing.
Will definitely go back again.
