On Monday, June 9th, we’re thrilled to welcome winemaker Pietra Possamai to Chambers for a special evening featuring one of the most unexpected and exciting wine projects we've had the pleasure to work with: Bodega Murga. Located in Peru’s Valle de Pisco—one of the original birthplaces of viticulture in the Americas—Bodega Murga is the bold vision of two friends, Alberto Di Laura (the alchemist known as the “Caballero de Pisco”) and Arturo Inga. Passionate wine lovers and aesthetes, they set out to revive the true spirit of Pisco by focusing on natural vine growing and winemaking. In the heart of the Chuchanga Valley, using an 18th-century fundo as their base, they planted Albilla, Italia, Negra Criolla, and Quebranta vines in an oasis in the middle of the desert. To lead this remarkable project, they brought on the extraordinary talent of Pietra Possamai. Pascaline had the chance to visit this incredible vineyard last year. Located 15 miles from the Pacific Ocean in the Andean foothills, the area is steeped in history—shaped by the Paracas, Wari, and Inca civilizations, who named it “Pisca” for its abundance of birds. It’s a place of deep energy and power. At Bodega Murga, the team works organically with heritage Peruvian varieties—Albilla (Listán Blanca), Italia (Muscat of Alexandria), Mollar (Negra Moll), Negra Criolla (Listán Prieto), and Quebranta. They distill them into Pisco and vinify them as still wines, skin-contact wines, and mistellas. We invite you to join us that evening to explore this unique landscape, its rich history, and these extraordinary flavors through their wines and Pisco. It promises to be a powerful dinner—one that will expand your palate and your perspective. 4 Courses, 12 Wines, and of course some Pisco! Whether you're entertaining family or friends, colleagues or clients, or celebrating special occasions, Chambers is thrilled to host your group of 8 - 12 guests (maximum) by offering you exclusive use of our Communal Table. For groups, we serve a prix-fixe version of our regular menu: Each guest will choose their own Appetizer and Main Course, with all of the sides served for everyone to share, concluding with Chef's Choice of Dessert. Please note that "family style" service is not available for Group Dining. For the 5:30pm & 9:00pm seatings, the fixed price of the menu is $80 per person and all beverage is billed on consumption, contributing to the overall minimum guaranteed spend of $115 per person (before tax and gratuity).
