Chambers Bay Grill is a largely undiscovered place with excellent food, fine beverages, friendly servers and great views of the South Puget Sound. The menu is a classic Northwest blend from land and sea with enough specials to keep things interesting. The well stocked bar can provide all of your favorites and the wine selection is excellent. Seating is available both inside and outside on the wind-protected patio.
We came here for our first anniversary since we were married at Chambers. The staff decided to go all out for our special day. We had a private table inside their party tent with our own private staff. It was amazing and we can't thank them enough for making us feel so special!
I love his place, good food with a spectacular view.
The Caesar salad was great, and the chips were fun (thin and crispy), but the fish was more batter than fish and deep fried way too long! Will try a fresh fish entree or the strawberry salad. Beautiful view and nice quiet atmosphere.
Wonderful patio seating! Great service and food. The restaurant called to check where we wanted to be seated (outside or inside) and accommodated our party.
While the view was amazing, The Cod & chips were good but not over the top. We had to share our food with some aggressive bees. I would try it again, if for nothing else teh view
Great place to see Anderson Island from which is where I live. Also good view of the Narrows.
Loved sitting on deck. View is out of this world. Relaxes ones mind. Staff were great, food was good. Wine was wonderful.
I had family in town from the East coast. They loved the views and the staff was very accommodating to Senior needs. Happy to move us inside as after sunset it was a bit too chilly. Only request would be to have cushions available for wrought iron chairs outside. Great option for a business casual type attaire if you're not golfing .
Two of us enjoyed an early relaxed, quiet dinner. The drinks and food were very enjoyable and reasonably priced -- especially for the wonderful view! Attentive service.
A bit disappointed with the Fritte Steak which was overwhelmed with french fries.
Last visit had steamer clams and definitely did not like the creamy red sauce. Simpler
is better, always.
BUT the fish and chips on happy hour are wonderful. Cole slaw is very good. Will
stick to that from now on.
Nicole, our server, made the evening! She guided us through the menu and was a fabulous contribution to our experience.. made it feel like our place! She will be the reason to come back again and again.. Thanks Nicole! Food was great too and it felt very reasonably priced.
In my opinion, while the views outside are astounding and the food good, the service here is terrible. On both occasions in the last two months, we had to repeatedly ask for things like the initial cup of coffee or water or (you name it). As an example, after asking 4 times in 40 minutes for a cup of coffee, my husband went and got a cup and poured it himself. On the prior occasion, my friends went and got a pitcher of water to serve ourselves because we had asked 3 times for water to two different people. The staff is friendly though. If you don't mind slow and non-responsive service, it's a nice view to enjoy with a decent meal.
Nothing beats Chambers Bay in July to watch the sunset between the Islands and over the hills.
We had to wait for over 1 hr and 15 minutes to get our food and this is a golf course where tee times have to be met. They needed to move back our tee times because we were so late in being served.
Food was good but they have to do something to improve the time it takes to get the food.
Service was outstanding. I booked on-line for last minute lunch for 8. Within 15 minutes I had a call asking if we wanted to be seated inside or on the patio.
We then add +2 fifteen minutes prior to arrival.
They had the table reset by the time we arrived.
Our waitress was also lovely, food was great and Blood Orange Mimosa's were delicious!
Great Saturday afternoon dining experience.
If you like poor service, a limited menu, expensive pricing, and loud obnoxious golfers, this place is for you.
The main dish was very salty. The dessert was horrible. I took a couple bites and sent it back and they still charged me for it. Definitely not worth the price.
Seafood was overcooked. Salad portion was smaller than I expected for a $20 salad. Sat inside because it was a cold outside. Furnishings a bit tacky. Sitting outside is definitely preferred for a gorgeous view.
Terrible service and the food was not good quality. Really disappointed. Most likely won't be back.
Great view. The food was just not that great. Happy hour items were small and thrifty (Caesar salad with minimal cheese, fries with lots of short charred bits). Bloody Mary not as described on the menu, and hot drink specials seemed odd over Memorial Day weekend.
I reserved for 10 at 8:00 not realizing they closed at 9:00. We didn't get out until 9:15 or so but no one hurried us and service was not excellent all around. The staff too pictures of us all - which was greatly appreciated- this was a surprise birthday party for my husband. A wonderful time was had by all.
In a word... OUTSTANDING! We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and were seated quickly. The views of Chambers Bay are breathtaking. Not only were we treated to phenomenal service, but the sunset took our breath away. The portions are HUGE! We had leftovers to take home that were enough for a full lunch for all of us the next day. This is defintitely our new go-to place for waterfront dining. Tables are spaced nicely so people are not sitting on top of you. You can actully have a conversation without yelling. Overall a fantastic expericence. We were there until the restaurant closed, and the staff made no move to rush us out. They let us sit and savor a delicious blackberry deep dish pie and our coffee until the last bit of sunlight had dissappeared. Chambers Bay Grill is a MUST!
The grill offers a very select, small menu to choose from. I had the chowder which was pretty darn good for a bar & grill. I also had Cod & Chips and chose the sweet potato fries. The fries were good as was the cod. However, I didn't care for the slaw which seemed a bit bland. My girlfriend had Cod & Chips, also, and chose the regular fries. She selected a house salad with ranch dressing on the side. She said the salad was bland, but loved her Cod & fries. She didn't try the slaw as she doesn't care for slaw anyway. Our waiter and host were very attentive and not over-caring. They were honestly, just right!
Noisy. Good service.
They did not have a reservation for us, on file. We were seated right away. We will go again, but, sit outside.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. We all enjoyed the meal and ate more than we probably should have, but it was hard to stop.
Our group attended the MOTHERS DAY BRUNCH...& we were very pleased with the service, very friendly & helpful staff....VERY BEAUITFUL Tables & The way the Tent was set up overlooking the golf course & puget sound, it was SO PRETTY...The Buffet style dining & food was VERY GOOD . I think the only SLIGHTLY NEGATIVE remark I would have to say about our experience was the $49 price of the BRUNCH Per person I think there should have been more variety of seafood offered such as shrimp, crab, clams,etc...((salmon was the only sea food Offered @ Chambers Bay) & compared to other scenic water view / water front restrauants in the area for Brunch pricing, most other places were ..$10 to $15 ..less. Other then that our overall experience @ Chambers Bay this year was very much a Pleasant Mothes Day ..& the food was great & a happy experience ...THANK YOU :)
Mother's Day brunch was not a value. It cost 50% more then the lobster shop typical brunch with 75% fewer menu options. First seating was at 10. The place was 1/3 full. But I wasn't offered coffee or a Mamosa until after I'd already made one pass through the buffet line.
Staff were amazing from reservation to serving the meals and accommodating our need of a little privacy for our business meeting. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, the beauty of nature was spectacular. Wi-fi access was great. I would love to comeback soon.. I highly recommend this place. Thank you .
