Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill Ratings and Reviews
The food was excellent and served hot! Our server, Thomas, did and excellent job answering questions about the items on the menu and also the specials for the day. There were three of us and we had two of the specials and they were very good as recommended by Thomas. The chowder was also very good!!
I requested and received seating in a booth, which was nice. The Manager was very pleasant in greeting us as we arrived. Our server was far less than one would expect. He was a bit short in his style of service and, other than saying he would tell the chef, he never reacted when we let him know the Gouda mashed potatoes were tasteless. Only at the end of our meal did he offer a second round of drinks. The wedge salad had an odd taste...lemon??? The scallops and Gulf Redfish were very good and perfectly prepared. We were seated near the bar and during the course of our dinner clearly heard the bartender sharing with her peers that she had "been in a crabby mood all day and [her] boyfriend told her to f*** off". :(
Overall, rather a disappointing dinner out!
I don't remember the last time I've been to a place and then waited on the way Sasha waited on us. She made suggestions from the menu that were impeccable. The food, the drinks, and the ambience was all perfect. Best dining experience I've ever had all because of Sasha. Also when we walked in the front door and the gentleman greeted us and told us they had prepared a wonderful table just for us. That made us feel very special!!
We seldom are disappointed here, but it happened this time. The Cioppino was quite ordinary. The calamari was tough and really not edible. We brought leftovers home and in fact, the meal was tastier after we added some red pepper flakes. This was a special, so it was favorably priced, but frankly, we can get better Cioppino at a "less special" restaurant.
Having said that, the wedge salad was lovely, the hot breads were wonderful, and the Creme Brulee was delicious. As usual, the wait staff was great, even with the slightly over-eager pourer of water. Seriously, a water glass doesn't need to be refilled after a sip or two! 🙄
Yes, we will be back...in fact we have a private room booked just begore Christmas for a super family gathering! We usually leave feeling totally pampered...'twas so with all but our much anticipated Cioppino.
I had the finest dining experience of my life at Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill on 11/30/2017. My companion and I were profoundly impressed. The ambiance and food were absolutely superb. Patrick was our server - he should write the rule book on how to be a first-class server. He far outclassed any server I have ever experienced. Five stars is not enough.
Awesome atmosphere. Lively wait staff but yet extremely professional. The food...👌🏾👌🏾 please try the Brussels sprouts they’re amazing. I would definitely recommend. But is a bit pricey so do not go there in a budget. We enjoyed and even chatted back and forth with the people at the booth next to us.
We are here at least once a week. You'll not find a better value for your dining dollar than a Chamberlain's concept! The Fish Market is run by two incredible managers and a stellar staff! The food is always spot-on!! The drinks from the bar are AMAZING!!! Treat yourself and someone you love to a terrific evening at Chamberlain's Fish Market Grill tonight!!! You'll be glad you did!!
Fish was good but we had ordered the Sea Bass special and didn’t get it. We got rice, asparagus and fish. Waiter was inattentive and took a long time to come back to us. One of our party members went to find the waiter to ask for the check. I go here for lunch once in a while but this was my first time here for dinner. I would not consider going back.
We had an amazing time and the food was wonderful! I have special dietary needs and our server was great. He knew what I could and could not have on the menu. We shared a salad and he had it split for us. Overall an amazing experience and I can’t wait to go back!
ordered a specialty dish "chiapino", I have made and ordered this dish on many occasions and at different places around the country. There were basic ingredients omitted, there was an over abundance of grilled salmon scraps left from the dinner salmon. no clams, no crab. the broth while flavorful was watery. My wife had the Salmon dinner and she said it was okay. The Escargot was cold and the parmasan they added to the sauce had solidified. I am not in the habit of sending food back so picked at and ate what some anyway.
As the CEO of two companies in the area, and a former frequent diner, it would be nice if the manager smiled and acknowledged that he had ever seen me before. I do a lot of entertaining, but have chosen to take my business elsewhere over the last year or two. It has nothing to do with ego, it has everything to do with customer service.
Food was good but we don't like how much they mark up their wines. Most places mark them up 300%. We saw bottles that are marked up 450%. This is ridiculous. The waiter stated that everyone marks them up that much. He was almost arrogant about it.
This was a business meal and I was not picking up the check and still will not go back.
