Service was excellent but intermittent. When he was there he was attentive and helpful but there were long gaps between appearances.
Slow Sunday night so quiet which was a plus. Drinks took a loooong time given the low number of patron but were well made.
Food was good but not above average. Landry's and Pappadeaux's are better.
Enjoyable but not repeatable.
We were pleasantly surprised that the quality was as good as we remembered from years ago. My chop green salad, trout and cheese grits were excellent and the gumbo, cocunt shrimp were also!! Our white chocolate coconut cream pie and the chocolate molten cake were excellent also!! Will definitely go back soon even if it’s a long way from home. Service was superb!!
Just a perfect place to eat with your date. Valet was fast and friendly. Staff was wonderful and took our picture for us. Great table. Very nice inside. Food was correctly prepared. Just can't say enough about this place. We are from out of town and always eat here and have never had a bad experience.
good service, food was good, not great. Diners were extremely noisy.
We have been to this restaurant several times; I have always had either the sea bass or scallops and have never been disappointed; after telling our waiter that I would like the best on the menu he suggested the snapper....even after I questioned the sea bass and scallops....I went with his suggestion and was disappointed. The meal was good, but not nearly as good as the other two I would have opted for.
Food was excellent as always. This is our go to place for special occasions.
A very upscale dining experience with impeccable food offerings. So very puzzling why can't management have maintenance properly repair the door lock situation in ladies powder room stall? Surely it would not be so expensive. Very embarrassing & disappointing. Sherry Georgeson. firstname.lastname@example.org
Our food and service was exceptional. We will be back.
Food was really good. $44 for halibut and two scallops was pricey but delicious
Anniversary dinner. The restaurant provided a nice creme brulee for a dessert free of charge. Very nice touch! Good service, good food, we will be back.
Meals were great and we had good customer service.
The trout with pecan crust was tender and delicious. I think the fish was excellent. Ribeye was good but not as good as the fish. The restaurant thoughtfully brought out a birthday dessert with a candle. Good place for a birthday.
I have visited Chamberlain's twice--the first was Valentine's and the second was my husband's birthday. The soups are very great (I got the chowder my first time and the gumbo). The main course is... I guess it depends on which main course you order. The Valentine's day meal during my first visit (Tenderloin and mashed potatoes) was much tastier than the regular meal that I ordered during my second visit (Trout with the lobster mac and cheese) by a long shot. The mashed potatoes for the Valentine's day meal was exquisite and I cannot believe how delicious the Tenderloin was! My husband got the filet mignon and he also was impressed. The trout tasted... peculiar (not in a good way) and I was not impressed. I eat trout quite regularly at home and at different restaurants and this was by far the worst. The lobster mac and cheese which I heard so much rave of was bland but the only saving grace on the plate as the trout was not that appetizing.
One thing I want to say is that I felt lied to during the Valentine's day meal because they did not mention that the menu would be so... condensed. (Yes, many restaurants do have condensed Valentine's day menus but they also often have the option to order off the regular menu if you want to). Since Valentine's was my first time to Chamberlain's, I 1. did not know the menu would be condensed 2. there would be no option of ordering something not on that specific menu... 3. was not made aware. My waiter gave me a spiel that when making the reservation, OpenTable had the information that Valentine's day had a condensed menu. At the time, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought I may have scrolled past it... until I heard him give the exact same spiel to the table next to us... and the table across from us. I then checked OpenTable and there was no evidence of the condensed Valentine's menu. The Valentine's day meal was exquisite but the fact that they could not just own up to leaving people out was astounding to me.
The service was incredibly quick, especially for a Friday night. Really impressed with the service and the shrimp & lobster mac & cheese!
The food was tasty (particularly the spinach, pear and goat cheese salad) and the service was absolutely perfect.
Meeting friends for dinner, we arrived a bit early but were graciously seated immediately. Our friends texted they were running late, but Jessica kept us happy and satisfied with water, wine, and bread. Our friends arrived, and the evening progressed delightfully. The salads and apps were great, and the entrees were perfect.
Fantastic! No much more to say. Fish was fresh. The waiter, whose name escapes me was very attentive. Wife said the wine was delicious and we did not have to wait 30 minutes to get our food. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Very nice evening, food was great, pace of service was just right
The food and service was wondrrful! Lovely atmosphere🍾
Excellent food, service, and ambience. Manager rescheduled our reservation after I accidentally reserved it on the wrong day. Will have to come more often.
Well you would think that 5 stars say's it all, It does if you are a 5 star general. Great place to dine and enjoy your friends. The wait staff was great.
Food was good, atmosphere sucks.
Food is always great. Their specialty is seafood, but the prime rib is outstanding.
Food was generally pretty good but the sides were super salty (potatoes and grits). If you go, make sure they go easy on the salt.
Meal was predictably great, but the "above-and-beyond" point was when the staff contacted their sister restaurant for a coffee-drink recipe my wife wanted after dinner. Just another factor to our always coming back.
We dine here often and the food and service are always great.
Food was excellent as always. I truly appreciate the fact that they offer excellent seafood (they are labeled a fish market after all) but in addition their steak offerings are also excellent. I always order sea food and my husband orders steak 90%of the time. He’s never been disappointed, nor have I. On this visit I ordered the salmon, which had a raspberry Pinot noir sauce, it was a bold red sauce and I was hesitant, until I took my first bite, delicious! Our waiter was very astute, my husband asked that the mashed potatoes that came with his filet not be included as he was on a no carb diet. When his food was served, the waiter had also had the mushroom gravy for the filet and the soy gaze for the green beans put in little side dishes, because he knew there most likely were carbs in the sauce. That was very thoughtful, and not surprising doe Chamberlains. The service is always excellent. They have a nice selection of wine by the glass, hubby sticks to Diet Coke, and I can’t polish off a bottle! Sometimes it gets a bit noisy, probably the only negative I can say. If you join their email list you get offers for special dinners, and offers for certain entrees at half price, a half price meal is a STEAL! I always make a reservation and we never have to wait to be seated. Can’t go wrong here!!
Overall very disappointing. The hostess at the entrance was arrogant, the proposed table minuscule facing a blind wall, and the food wasn’t up to standards.
Asked for the Sea Bass which in the past has been lovely, this time it had the consistency of Rubber.
This was like the 10th time I dined at Chamberlains Fish Market in addison, and this time it certainly was a grandiose disappointment.
Got the steak & shrimp special, thinking the steak would be as good as Chamberland's Steakhouse. Dissapointing! We were seated in the booth next to the bar. Not enough legroom. Freezing when the air was on, stuffy when it wasn't . We will just stick to Chamberlain's Steakhouse in the future. We gave the fish market several tries, but are usually disappointed there, even with the seafood.
Great food, excellent service, nice ambiance.
Our server Patrick was very knowledgeable about the menu and had a great sense of humor. The goat cheese salad was perfect, and my flounder was impeccable. I couldn't decide on my entrée, so I let Patrick choose for me, and he hit a home run. He was attentive throughout the evening without being overbearing, he seemed to always know when to stop by. The triple chocolate peanut butter dessert was decadent, rich, smooth and creamy and made the whole meal come together very nicely. I will most definitely return and try something else.
Spring special was excellent. Just enough food. Prepared perfectly. Good service.
It was a beautiful day so we were able to sit on the patio. We enjoyed being able to talk, laugh, and enjoy fine dining at the same time. The service was wonderful and the attention they pay to their guest is awesome. The food is delicious!
Dined with one of my key customers. Our waitress was outstanding and developed a real nice rapport with our table. The featured dish of halibut with scallops was excellent. I will definitely return.
Had the filet mignon with gouda mashed potatoes and mushrooms with a side of brussel sprouts; steak was cooked perfectly and with the perfect sides to accompany; Wine by the glass is a little pricey but overall experience, excellent!
Great food and great service
The food is AWESOME. The price is reasonable and the ambiance is great for special occasions and everyday dining. My friends and I received excellent customer service. We will definitely return.
All I could taste in the food items was salt. Flounder was in a crust of wet bread crumbs. They did take the lobster bisque off my bill when I noted that there was no hint of lobster. Maybe it was just an off night but it definitely was off.
Everything was excellent, from start to finish.
