I took a friend there for her birthday and the manager came over to say her dessert was on the house since it was her birthday and was very gracious. All resturants do this but when I got the bill I was charged for it, I was not going to say anything since it would have been in front of my friend but I should not have had to say anything the waiter should have been on top of it.
Been 3 times now. The food and service have deteriorated each time. The ahi tuna made me violently ill later that night. I won’t be coming back.
A shame because the first time I went with my wife the meal and experience was excellent.
Amazing experience. Went there with my wife for our first anniversary. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful with everything.
The food was delicious! The menu has a lot to offer!
Will definitely come back and soon!
Beautiful ambiance and great service, not matched at all by the quality of the food, very - very disappointing!
Great food and the service was excellent!
Reddish was delicious. It comes with lobster and shrimp Mac and cheese, which is yummy. You can sub another side if you wish. They were out of our first choice of wine. Haley was an excellent server.
We keep coming back for reliable seafood offerings accompanied by great cocktails and wine selection. The setting provides a "nice night out" setting that is still relaxing. Our server, Rachael, was friendly and attentive (but not overly-so).
Food not very good. Service slow. Not a great meal.
Another GREAT meal at Chamberlain's! We originally came in for the current special promotion, but ended up having one of the daily specials, and also a menu favorite. Sean is a *rockstar* and took super-great care of us. We're frequent flyers at the Chamberlain's restaurants, and it's the quality & consistency of the food & service that keeps us coming back!
Great dinner.
We were early for our our reservation and were seated immediately on a Friday night. The waitress introduced herself with a friendly smile. She was attentive and knowledgeable about the food as well as the wine list. We enjoyed the food as well as the ambiance. We were able to squeeze a desert in after a filling meal.
2 for the Mahi special - GREAT. White chocolate coconut pie with caramel sauce - FABULOUS.
A tad noisy for a while - then settled down to OK.
We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and couldn’t have had a better time. The ambiance was great, our waiter very pleasant and helpful and the food was fantastic. Our party of 5 each had different entrees and every single person remarked about home delicious their food was. Overall it was just a very enjoyable evening!
Consistently excellent food and service and even on a crowded night, quiet enough to carry on a conversation among the 4 of us.
The Ahi Tuna was seared to perfection. Definitely will come here again. Wonderful food.
We all really enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service.
Keep in mind this was for our anniversary not just a meal we went to eat out for dinner.
My husband ordered the filet and crab legs that were a total of 74.00 (cost was not an issue) when it got to our table the crab legs had ice on them and the steak (filet) was thin, over cooked, and was falling apart from the fat. This was the WORST dinner we have ever had. We got 50 gift cards that have crazy stipulation on them so needless to say we will not be coming back no matter how the gift cards cost.
Celebrated our anniversary a couple of nights ago and had a wonderful experience. The cioppino was perfection and the martinis icy. Our server, Mo, made the experience a pleasure. Thanks Chamberlain’s
It was wonderful!
The service and food were excellent
Amazing restaurant! Food was prepared perfectly and the service was the best I have experienced in a long time. This is truly a neighborhood gem that you rarely find these days. Hard to find better seafood in the area...will definitely return!
What a total disappointment. Escargot made with vinegar. Terrible - we sent them back. The oysters were sloppily shucked and had so much shell in them, had to spit them out. All of the main entrees were served cold. Like they had been sitting out for 30 minutes before being served. Dirty plates sat on the table for longer than was necessary.
We used to love coming there - it has quickly gone downhill.
Great food and service. We were in town for a university reunion and this is one of our favorite places in Dallas. A wonderful evening!
The food was good.
Always consistent. A great go-to spot in Addison for a business lunch. Chamberlain's quality.
Our waiter was so nice and gentle with my mother in law who has dementia, it made her evening!
I realize our reservation was for a Sunday evening and the "A" team is generally off on Sundays, but...I made specific mention in my reservation that we were celebrating two birthdays. That information was never conveyed to the waitperson. Three out of four of the cocktail orders were not correct and had to be sent back. My pecan crusted trout was burned. My husband's salmon was a small end piece rather than the center cut and portion size normally served. I am hoping this was just an off night, as this has always been a very well run restaurant with very good food and service. Unfortunately, this birthday celebration will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
All 4 of us had excellent meals. Despite a small crowd in the dining room the service was pretty slow. Otherwise it would have rated 5 stars.
Waiter took forever to come take drink order. So long that we decided to order our appetizer with drinks but as soon as the 3rd person said their drink he turned and ran giving no chance for another word. Took forever to bring the drinks and barely slowed when he dumped them off, still no chance to order an appetizer (almost comical at this point). Finally came back got apps ordered and asked if there were dinner specials and he said he was warming up to tell us them and took off, again. WHAT!?
Lobster Bisque tasted burned but was cold. Truffle Grits were fantastic however. The rest of the staff was helpful and nice.
Food was great. Kind of loud bar area.
The menu was full of delicious options (including steak and chicken for the no seafood types). The oysters were delicious, each dish was perfectly prepared and the staff was amazing. I also appreciated that it was local to Dallas and enjoy supporting local restaurants. Don't pass up the desserts - we had decided on a few and they made a tasting platter just for us.
The service and ambience were excellent. The bread was warm and delicious. Unfortunately, the Chilean sea bass was poorly prepared. It was undercooked. Rather than being flaky, it was oily and there was very little sear. The PEI mussels were plump and juicy, but the spicy tomato sauce was a bit too spicy. There are better fish houses in Dallas.
My favorite place, bar none
We have a very nice experience going there for a small birthday dinner with six guests. The food was good as was the service.
Awesome is the only way to describe
Wow! We had a birthday party for a friend here and it was great! There host got us seated in a great location and even though our party hadn't all arrived yet we were seated immediately. Our food was perfect. I had the crab cakes which were full of crab. The brussel sprouts were devine! The rest of my friends had the Red fish and lobster mac n cheese. They were very pleased!
Our waiter Michael, was one of the best servers we've ever had anywhere. He made the evening so special and was super attentive. Ask for him if you go he's great!
.... Don't forget the desert. The peanut butter and chocolate pie was so yummy we almost ordered two! Overall, our experience was 5 ⭐s
Great service, food and right portions for the price
Extremely expensive for just lunch 2 people, entrée and cup of Soup, $113.00
Our table of 5 was able have a conversation and hear each other. The food is delicious and everyone was impressed
Got steak and scallops. Food was over cooked and bland. The whole meal seemed “off”. Nothing seemed fresh. Dessert tasted like freezer burn...waste of $200 and an evening out. Very disappointing experience.
