Established in 1983, Chamard Vineyards, is one of the Connecticut Wine Trails founding fathers. Tucked between the Long Island Sound and the Connecticut River, Chamard enjoys a unique marine micro-climate ideal for growing European Vinifera vines such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Pinot Noir. Also it was a milestone celebration and I had called the restaurant to remind them but it was completely ignored :( For the quality of the restaurant and the price, attention to details would be nice.

Attended with friends for special occasion. Great service. Tried several appetizers and entrees and no one was disappointed - had the salmon, roasted chicken breast, duck, and gnocchi. The Camembert en Croutee was a favorite appetizer. Dessert was the perfect ending to the dinner. Look forward to returning!

Another great night at Charmards with all our favorite staff, Kayla, Patrick, Chef Matt and our all time newly engaged hostess Carianne!!!!!🥂🌹❤️! My wife and I both had the Prime Rib done to perfection medium rare and it was a huge piece of meat!!!! A few glasses of wine for us both and a couple of bottles to go!!! What else could you ask for!!! Thank you all for another great Saturday evening with you all!!!!! Congratulations to Carianne and Jeremiah, two awesome people that deserve to be together forever!
