Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
It was the perfect place to go as always. The service is always excellent the food is always delicious it was a great experience! We were celebrating because my friends have moved away and truly miss great restaurants and this was their choice of all the restaurants in the Chicagoland area .
It was not my first visit to Chama Guacha but it was my brother's and despite the substantial build-up I gave the restaurant, food and service, the actual experience exceeded his expectations. We had a phenomenal meal, cozy table, great cocktails and fantastic service. The restaurant was hopping busy yet our wait was short. The complementary valet parking made it easy to get in and out. Great job by all the staff...I look forward to my next visit - whenever that will be.
the waitress seemed to be in a hurry at one point the group felt rushed I wanted to go to the salad bar but she was removing stuff before we were finished, the cavers were awesome, also the mens bathroom was out of toilet paper have some one check it once in a while.
We’ve been coming here for years on family birthdays and anniversaries and for the most part the service is great and the food is delicious! This time it was for my husband’s birthday and it was one of the best services we’ve had there. My husband received delicious desert with candle and happy birthday sign without me even usking! Thank you for making this night super special and fun.
Great service but don't care for how the hover behind you just waiting to clear a plate or fill water. It's good but bad at the same time. One waiter recommended a drink even after my girlfriend said she didn't like lime but insisted... Did not charge us for it but that was kind of strange to us. Some of the meat was chewy. This experience was not as good as the first time i went. They did give us a creme brule as a dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary which was very nice of them. I don't know if i would be back again.
The best Brazilian steakhouse in the Chicagoland area. The service is just great. The meats are done how ever you like. The Salad bar is great and even has Cerviche now. There is also a soup option which is relatively new. Would recommend you get the grilled jalepenos and onions if you like spicy condiments.
This is a great place to feed large numbers of people great food without breaking the bank.
Having been to most of the existing Brazilian restaurants in the suburbs and Chicago, we were excited to try this one, based on the excellent reviews. We had a party of 11 and were not overly impressed by the food. The service was top notch and we loved that the server periodically replenished the side dishes at our tables, as we have never seen that at any other Brazilian restaurant. The salad bar had fresh ingredients but the quantity of the selections seemed a bit scant. We were happy to see that there was cream of broccoli soup on the salad bar, but it was ice cold. The number of meats offered was the most disappointing overall. They told us they no longer served the sausage of Parmesan pork. All in all we figured there were 9 different varieties of meat, as opposed to 13+ at similar establishments. Chama was by far the most expensive Brazilian that we have experienced and we didn't feel that the extra money balanced out the lack of selections. We most likely would not return.
Food and servers were great as always; however the last couple times I’ve been there I’ve been seated at a table near the buffet. Unfortunately the high foot traffic there from other patrons and servers makes it a bit uncomfortable especially when you consistently get bumped into.
