   Fabulous Thai food! The place was packed when we arrived, but they had our table waiting for us, and service was quick and friendly. We had two fish dishes, and one steak dish. They were all different, and outstanding. This I will become a regular haunt for me based on this first experience.

   Sooooo delicious and interesting. And the staff is lovely and had great recommendations. It was lively inside, so we happily sat outside. Will be back!!

   I am a Thai food connoisseur, and can I tell you that this place was absolutely Ah-MAZING!!! In every way, Chalong went above and beyond—the food was absolutely delish, the cocktail magnificent, the staff was kind and accommodating, and clientele was a broad spectrum of NYC. What an absolute gem! Literally could NOT stop raving about the place. Southern Thai is my new favorite, who knew…❤️

    Not just a good restaurant for the theater district, which if you know the nyc, that’s a win already, but worth traveling from every borough to. Thai food is typically ordered by white people watching Love is Blind, and comes in a plastic container, but for people that want to expand their exploration into more than that Chalong is the place to go. The dishes are flavorful, inventive, and come out fast. Don’t come actually, because I want a table next time I’m in the area.
