Jimmy Garcia's Swiss Alpine ski-lodge themed restaurant returns to the most magical setting that is SKATE at Somerset House this Christmas.
Inspired by Jimmy's own 5 seasons spent hosting a ski chalet at the start of his chef career, Chalet Suisse pays homage to those special winters in the Alps. Using fantastic Swiss ingredients (including our special blend of classic Swiss cheeses to create our fondue) it showcases authentic mountain cuisine and embodies cosy, chalet hospitality here in the heart of the capital.

Masively overpriced for cheap fondue and charcuterie. Service staff nice but slow. Waited 20 minutes and the restaurant was empty bar 2 tables. Absokute rip off

Lovely staff and handy for a visit to the ice rink. Atmosphere in the daytime was a bit lacking (would have benefited from lower daylight and more fairy lights) unfortunately food was very average for the price

This is not fondue. We live in Switzerland and can confirm this would not be recognised over there. Disappointing as the venue has been nicely dressed up.

We had an okay meal at Chalet Suisse; the food was overpriced for the mediocre quality, and the service was slow. I guess you're paying for the location, but there's no view of the ice rink from the restaurant. If you're coming to skate or watch the skaters over Christmas, I would skip this place and just get a wine or cocktail in the bar next to the ice rink.

Poor service to be expected at a pop up I suppose. Food was pleasant enough. Quite expensive for what it was. We had a good time though.

The food and service were both amazing. Really delicious fondue and refills of the dippers were offered free of charge. Lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend as a festive treat.
