   We decided to go to Chairman’s for our 18th anniversary dinner. The Food was great but the Bill time was outrageous. Waited an hour for our food and had no time for dessert

   The Hosts greeted us immediately upon entry with smiles and eye contact. Perfect start. Server was slow to greet us and, although offered the steak presentation to the 3 out of 4 of us that was there for the first time, passively told us it’s a heavy tray that will take about 5 mins to present. We had her present it anyways because we wanted to see the presentation. Service was slow overall, especially with water refills. The seafood tower for $162 was extravagantly presented for zero value: 1.5 king crab legs (2 of us split a thin halved leg), 2 petite lobster claws, 5 cocktail prawns, 5 oysters (no info on origin or type), smoked salmon, bland tuna tartar (just tasted avocado), scallops crudo (would have absorbed the flavour much better sliced vs diced, yuzu seasoning was on point). The 36 oz smoked rib eye, $157 for 2 people, was ordered medium rare. Steak was cooked well done at the tip to blue rare at the other end, served pre sliced with sprinkled salt. 1 of us had a bland slice that needed more salt, the rest had overly salted slices that ruined the rest of the meal experience. The 36 oz prime porterhouse, $135 for 2, was ordered medium rare and cooked perfectly, served pre sliced with sprinkled salt. Flavour was flat for everyone. Cowboy butter was separated and had no flavour. Fried cauliflower was crispy and flavourful, potato rosti was supposed to be shredded potatoes but it was a thick fried mashed potatoe pancake, Mac n cheese was perfectly creamy and cheesy, fries were cold, soft and unevenly cooked. First time fries were unfinished, anywhere. We always order dessert but this dinner was such a disappointment that we didn’t try the carrot cake or crème brûlée we originally planned. Value, engaging service, well seasoned steaks cooked to order is a miss here. Chairman’s was highly recommended by many online reviews, however, our overall experience is the biggest miss of our dining experience to date. We came in with smiles and left utterly disappointed.

   The broccolini and mashed potatoes were just okay, borderline under seasoned. And we had two orders of each and both were as such. The steaks were PERFECT! Crushed it!

   Had an awesome dinner at Chairman’s! The food was top-tier—steak was cooked perfectly and every bite was delicious. The black truffle gnocchi was amazing as well. What really stood out, though, was our server Danny. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave spot-on recommendations for both food and drinks. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and made us feel genuinely welcome the entire time. If you’re going, definitely try to get a table in his section—you’ll be in great hands!

   First time there and we will definitely be back! The food was outstanding, every single item we got exceeded our expectations. We got the 36oz porter house with crispy cauliflower and fries. We also got the Waldorf salad and the risotto. 100/10. The staff were attentive but they also respected your space. They were knowledgeable and the service was great. It was worth every dime!

    Celebrated my daughter’s 18th bday - Chairman’s is her favourite. As always, service was epic (thanks Jeff), food was fantastic, and left very satisfied. Chairman’s ain’t the cheapest, but it has never failed to deliver a great evening.
