   One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Everything was perfection and the best part was our server--she was passionate about the food, knowledgable and all her suggestions were spot on! We had the dumplings, basil rolls, lobster soup, drunken noodles, sea bass entree & creme brûlée as well as the Ah Piket Cocktail, we enjoyed every bite and sip! I will absolutely be back!

   Our server was awesome. Very upbeat and checked on us at the perfect times. Food was delicious and good portions. Food and drinks also came out really fast for a Saturday night. Definitely will be back. Prices were slightly high on some items but no different from the other Buckhead restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back!

   This location is beautifully crafted and designed to fit any occasion. The ambiance is very nice and most importantly the customer service was impeccable. This was my first time at this location, as I have tried the other locations TuK TuK and Nam. The appetizer golden pouches and lychee mocktail was mouthwatering. I tried the Chilean Sea Bass & Crab Rice. I wasn’t too keen on the presentation or taste of the Chilean Sea Bass as it had a breaded coating; typically this type of fish is very tasty without the breaded coating. Not sure if it was frozen prior too but I would give it 3 stars for only that particular dish. I would definitely be back. Parking was valet $2.00 and it was a great experience.     Every trip to Chai Yo only confirms how amazing this restaurant is!! The service is always perfect. The food is consistently excellent. Incredible … the Waygu Beef Cheeks … not to be missed!!!

    This was my 2nd time. First time was great. This time dinner was OK. Ordered the Chilean sea bass and texture seemed at bit dry. Was not happy where I was seated but was told there were no other options. Server was very nice. Overall it was decent dinner.

    Food portion is quite small for the cost. Attendants are courteous and polite, but not attentive. I ordered an extra portion of rice and it never came.

    Food is much improved at Chai Yo vs my previous visit about a year ago; and service was good too. What I cannot get over is being charged $1 because I asked for a large ice cube in my cocktail (Old Fashioned) vs smaller ice cubes. Insane and very petty...

    TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I am not one to even invest my time into writing a review, but boy… Chai Yo has me and my husband upset. Needless to say, we waited over an hour and a half for our table (after constantly nagging to be sat, we were). Waited 1 hour + just for a dish to arrive. Mind you it was a SET MENU FOR THE NIGHT! AKA NO REASON WHY KITCHEN SHOULD BE BEHIND! Let’s not to mention they had ONE bartender for the whole venue.. it’s unfortunate because the owner seems to be a genuine hardworking person, but her staff, service & environment aren’t upkeeping their part. Do better to get better.

    Made RESERVATIONS for 9pm. Did not get sat to eat until 11pm. Did not get finished eating/left at 1am. We arrived at 9pm sharp. When walking in, the waiting area was flooded with people, shoulder to shoulder. We were not able yo actually check in until 9:30 due to people checking in for later reservation times. We went to the bar to get drinks and are so thankful for those hardworking bartenders to pass the time. By the time we sat down there was not many people waiting to be sat at this point. Many reservations that were after ours were sat before us. We sat down and ordered around 11pm. 20 minutes later the table beside us sat down. About 45 mins later the other tables food was being delivered to their table. Keep in mind this is a prefixed menu…. How did a table that ordered 20 mins after us get there food 20 mins before us? Did not leave the restaurant until 1am after all of this.. needless to say we still paid over $200 for this experience.

    They over booked; it was a big mess at the front of the door to even get in the restaurant with the amount of people waiting. Reservation was for 8:30; we got there at 8:15; was finally able to get to the front of the line and check-in at 8:51; was finally seated at 9:58.

    You overbooked tables on OpenTable . When I got to my 8:30 reservation . I waited almost 2 hrs . Then they gave me a bar seat . The staff was not honest about being overbooked . I could have gone somewhere else to eat even Whole Foods. There were tons of people waiting over 1-2 hrs for their tables . This unfortunately is a Valentine’s Day scam. I will never go back here again. Thanks for the worst Valentine’s Day experience ever

    Very badly organized Valentine’s Day experience, had to wait 30 mins for the table. Too crowded, accepted more customers than what they can fit, almost 30 members where waiting at the host center. It took forever to bring the food. Our dining time for 4 meal course was more than 2 and half hours.

    Had an unfortunate experience here on Valentines. Seems like they were way overbooked, we had a 7:30 reservation and we weren’t sat until 8:30 we weren’t visited by a waiter for over 25mins once we were sat and it seemed like we weren’t going to be served anytime so we decided to leave. Many other couples had the same exact experience we had. The food looked great but waiting until 9pm and not even being offered water for a 7:30pm reservation really spoiled what was supposed to be a special occasion.

    We love eating at Chai Yo. We did the valentines pre fixe menu this past time and it was delicious as usual. We did leave feeling a little hungry still as the portions were super tiny for what we paid, but overall we love this place.

    Food was fantastic. Price Fixe menu was well thought out. Wine pairings were just okay. Service was inattentive. Had to ask repeatedly for our waiter after extremely long waits without food or drinks; never brought water after several reminders; never followed up to see how any our courses were; had no utensils for soup appetizer and had to track someone else down; wine pairings didn’t show up with the food it was supposed to be paired with. For this price point they should have delivered much better service. Very disappointed.

    I have absolutely no complaints about our experience. Bae and I went to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day dinner. We tried a little bit of everything and ate EVERYTHING!! Sooooo goood! Jalin our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. The leftovers were even better the next day. The food was light but heavy with flavor and Bae loved the Waygu cheek.

    Amazing food. Terrible service. So slow, couldn’t get a dish cleared all night, waitress couldn’t open wine (poor thing … but running off in embarrassment and not returning w it until we were done our food didn’t help), took almost 45 min to get the bill and then get our credit card swiped at the end. The food is worth the price but the service was inexcusably bad.
