I’ll take the points on my OD Acct. But unfortunately we had booked this for my birthday on 7/30 and arrived to a closed restaurant. Sign read kitchen emergency close 7/30. We weren’t the only ones who arrived to this surprise. This would of been a special occasion as it was our first time to dine and had selected it for my birthday dinner. We’ve dined at their sister restaurant in the past.
The fact they confirmed via text and OD the day prior. But never notified anyone at time of closure was quit unprofessional considering the tech we have today.
It’s customer service like this that ruins reputation and brands. We were stuck making last minute pivot to dine since we had already driven to West Nashville from our home. Time will tell if I will attempt again or even consider any of their locations ever again.
That’s what will make or break restaurant business in this pandemic.
We didn’t even get to eat there. They had a kitchen emergency and didn’t even tell us or cancel our reservation so we all showed up and drove from different distances to come try it. Very disappointed with the lack of communication. Not encouraged to come back and give it a try with their lack of service or courtesy.
So so delicious. Chopped prowess is well deserved. Service was a bit slow, but I expect due to COVID staffing issues. Servers were fantastic, best Mango Lassi I’ve ever had. Drinks and dishes on point.
Delicious food (Lima bean pineapple Chaat, samosa chaat, chicken korma), and even better service. This was the last stop on my Nashville trip before heading to the airport and I arrived at the restaurant with a suitcase and a backpack. The host went out of her way to offer to store my bags behind her podium. So fantastic! Thank you, Chef Maneet and team!
We brought a friend who wanted to get more familiar with Indian food and Chaatable is one of our favorite places. The service was beyond spectacular and the food was fresh and delicious.
Best Indian food ever. Overall service was fantastic although some of the shareable items came out long after the others. Waiter did do a service recovery. Definitely on the list to return
Food and service was amazing! We did not have a lot of previous experience with Indian food. Our server was so helpful in helping us order.
Yum, yum! We loved this place. Usually eating at the sister restaurant, but due to water issues, went here per the nice manager who called us, we could not have been happier! The food is great and very approachable. We needed up ordering a variety of things we could share. Portions are good. Cocktails inventive and tasty. Service was excellent! We will be back if we want a more casual experience.
I sort of ended up at Chaatable by accident. As a Food Network junkie, I have adored Maneet's cooking style for a long time, so when my friend proposed a trip to Nashville this summer, I told her we had to eat at Chauhan Ale and Masala.
Well, it turned out that CA&M had to unexpectedly close for maintenance the week we were going to be there! But I learned about Chaatable, a sister restaurant, and quickly booked us a reservation there, and OMG it did not disappoint!
My favorite thing we ate was the fried chicken appetizer. My friend and I are both gluten-free, so I was thrilled to see that the fried chicken was safe for us to eat! The flavor was so delightful, sweet and spicy and sour all at the same time. I kept diving back into our empty appetizer basket for the crumbs, it was so good!
We went to chaatable to celebrate my partner’s birthday. I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious! Excellent levels of spice and so many layers of flavor. We loved the okra chaat and the thali’s. I got the monkey’s drunkle and loved the spiciness of the drink. They brought out gulab jamun with sprinkles for my partner’s birthday which was so fun and thoughtful. Overall, we loved it and will definitely be back! PS: the wall of bangles is SO COOL.
The food is amazing and the rices are good. My husband has taken several business trips to India and he says the food here is comparable to actual food he’s eaten in India. We love Indian food and can’t wait to get back here to visit (maybe tonight). The ambiance is wonderful and the service was amazing.
Great , helpful service by Jonathan! Great explanation of the menu…. Delicious choices in the appetizers. Loved the pucha and the spinach ??? . Quiet table in the back room…. Could have easy conversation…. Look forward to our next visit!
Date night, table by the window. We ordered the okra and paneer appetizers which were good. Main courses of the lamb (saag) and chicken (OG) which were served with black eyed pea Dahl, jackfruit, rice, etc. Poori was food but was an Americanize version. Our only complaint was there seemed a long wait time between the appetizers and the main course. Atmosphere was laid back and fun, drinks were good, waitress was a knowledgeable. Good experience and we would go back.
First time back here post -covid …. And sadly not impressed Music was louder than it needed to be. We had been here several times pre-covid and had excellent small plates … we brought an out of town friend and it did not live up to out expectations. The menu has changed and small plates were limited. The chicken tandoori was a bit dry but lots of sauces. We did enjoy the lamb dish, but not a lot to justify the cost. No garlic nann - the sweetbread that was our servers recommendation was OK but nothing special. Our bill was $100 for 3 and that only included 2 beers. Don’t think we will be back
The service was fantastic and the food even better.
There was Slow service, they were short staffed, the music was too loud.
Great place to eat something you can't find at every other restaurant. Service was superb.
Amazing food and incredible drinks. Super cool atmosphere too.
Terrific. Good food, great service, and all round good experience. Accommodated my dietary restrictions with ease which is always a challenge but much appreciated. Will return again
The curry was excellent, but the lamb was over cooked. Potion size was small. Requested cocktail served up, but it came on the rocks. It was good, but expensive for the area. Bill was not correct and I needed to request a copy with details to see what the issue was.
Great ambiance that makes you feel like India. Friendly staff, however found our server to be more friendly towards American than our table (we are Indian) in terms of offering menu items. He asked for and explained dessert options to other american customers but never offered it to us. Could care less, their business loss! Food wise - decent food. Comes small quantity for what you pay and “not out of this world.” Food was lacking Indian spices. Would recommend to try one time if you really want but you wont miss it.
Always great food!
We were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. Once you enter the restaurant you’re in India! The food is outstanding and the service was wonderful!
The food was amazing! We got several chaats and shared. We took the recommendations of our server, Adelynn, and that was so smart! We liked what she recommended so much we ended up ordering some extra to go. We would definitely come back!
We had a great experience here celebrating our 14th anniversary here! Our server was awesome & food was so creative and yummy. For a special occasion I would suggest doing what we did - order cocktails, chaat, app, and thali at all the same time and they will bring everything out to you at the perfect time!
While visiting Nashville to see our daughter we tried Chaatable before our flight time. It was 5:00pm so it was ideal time to stop by for some delightful chaat with some masala chai. We loved all the chaat items that we tried and the hot spicy tea (masala chai). Samosa chaat was excellent, loved the puchaka's it not everyday I get to eat this fav Indian street food, also the behl was delicious and mango rasmalai out of this world!!It is a very colorful restaurant with good vibes. Our server was very friendly and did all he can to make our experience a very pleasurable one. If we are visiting Nashville again, we will be back!!
Wonderful authentic Indian food is a terrific atmosphere. Service was top-notch.
Excellent service. Food was delicious.
Love the concept, and the chaats were great. Little disappointed with the Thalis. Just not as unique and interesting as the appetizers. Next time I’ll just order all chaats.
Food was great but service was a bit slow. Took a while to get our drinks. Noise level was louder than we liked. Overall, enjoyed all the dishes and will be back for another meal there.
This restaurant is delightful! Delicious food, and a welcoming staff.
Yummy food! Really cool atmosphere
As always excellent food with abundance of flavor!!
We arrived when they opened at 5 PM for our reservation and were seated immediately. Our wait staff was kind, helpful, and efficient. We love Indian cuisine of all varieties, and this didn’t disappoint. We shared the samosa chaat, my partner ordered lamb vindaloo and I, chicken coconut curry. We also ordered a cocktail each, one more creamy and fruity, the other bright and tart. Both were delicious. Ambiance is colorful, fun, and unique. We would recommend!
All around great experience.
I just love this menu, it's limited but so exciting.
Our main course DID NOT COME after 2 hours so we paid for our little appetizers and left to go elsewhere to actually eat. My most amazingly. bad food experience ever!
Dr. Jim Daniell
Incredible as always! Thank you!
Love this place and have never been disappointed!
