Anniversary celebration..... food and service was great! Will definitely dine here again.
The food was just absolutely amazing. Although the food might cost more than a traditional Mexican restaurant, the difference in cost is made up in the food. You can taste the difference. The service was great. My server made sure to always make sure we were doing fine.
We liked Cha Cha’s Mexican food with a twist and the live music during lunch. I would not recommend the flautas, but my husband and son would wholeheartedly recommend the shrimp enchiladas and my daughter loved her steak taco. The highlight of our visit was our server, Raul. He was outstanding.
Great live band during brunch, had a lot of fun
Great restaurant. We live in South OC but go to Cha Cha's anytime we're nearby. The Carne Asada is amazing. Get it with grilled zucchini instead of potatoes to make it Keto or Paleo.
The food here is very good and the atmosphere, while noisy, elegantly cozy. The guacamole is outstanding, with a strong lime taste. I don’t like fish, but the ahí ceviche was even delicious for me. I recommend it, and recommend choosing to eat on the patio. There are lots of heaters. It is always busy, so make a reservation regardless of which night you dine.
It was a fun place for girls night out!!! Dishes were very shareable!
Great happy hour, good food. Chicken flautas were excellent, emapanadas were OK, shrimp taco was spicy. Lots of chips and salsa. Left Coast IPA on tap.
We started our meal with the empanada appetizer. It was very tasty, however way over Priced at 10.00 for three bite size pieces. For our main courses we had the short rib enchiladas which my husband thoroughly enjoyed and the portion was huge. I had the chargrilled chicken salad which was very large but had zero flavor. The service was fine but somewhat impersonal. The manager wished my husband happy birthday when we arrived but that was the extent of any acknowledgement. Sort of a lackluster meal.
This is an energetic venue that is reasonably priced and a good place to try something new. The menu offers items not found at most latin/mexican restaurants, and twists on old favorites. Be prepared to find pickled onions in your tacos! A definite contrast to the more family-oriented restaurants in the area, and a nice lively addition to the MarketPlace.
Great tacos! They have an awesome portabella mushroom taco and their margaritas are so strong and delicious! We tried the Cha Cha margarita, the Pineapple Mojito margarita, and the Mango Harbanaro margarita. The chips and salsa are good too.
Service was good but the sweet waitress forgot one of our drink orders so had to wait for that. Also this is a pretty loud restaurant and sitting next to the kitchen door made it worse. Would ask for another table next time.
Otherwise very good food. We had the carne asada, crab and shrimp enchiladas, and 3 tacos.
We had a really great time with our friend from out of town. We food came in good time and the hostess seated us almost right away! only comment was that the side exit door kept opening bringing in a cold breeze.
My wife and I stopped by for lunch. We both had margaritas to get us started. I had the mango and habanero which was absolutely perfect (and not spicy hot). My wife had the Cha Cha’s house special margarita with the grapefruit. It was also great, as I got one little sip. It was not overly tart or sour, just awesome! We had the complimentary tortilla chips with the red and green salsa’s. My favorite was the verde (green), but the rojo (red) was still very good. We both had the 3-taco plate. She had the braised short rib, mushroom, and shrimp tacos, while I had basically the same minus the shrimp, and substituted a fish taco instead. All was accompanied by Spanish rice and black beans. The tacos were each outstanding. The Spanish rice is some of the best I have ever had along with those delicious black beans. We left as Happy Campers! We’ll be back for sure.
Be careful that the weather is suitable to sit outside when you go to Cha Cha's. it was a nice day when we went but very windy and that wasn't conducive to a relaxing luncheon. There was plenty of heaters, but the wind was very annoying and in the restaurant was crowded and loud!
Tasty food, great service
Our waiter was so nice but the food was so medicore.
My friend and I went to Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen today for the first time. It was a fantastic experience. We both ordered the Fresh Seafood Caldo and it was delicious! I also got the blended mojito and I loved it. If you go definitely get the chips guacamole. Our waiter was excellent and the hostess was also very pleasant. I can't wait to go back!
A couple of people recommended I visit Cha Cha for their queso fundido. During the holidays I took advantage of their gift card promotion and got some. For my birthday I took the plunge with my picky kids and hubby. This place was a huge hit for all. We had an amazing server. He was on top of everything. My girls had the bean and cheese burrito and grilled chicken breast (from the salads) with rice with guacamole app. Both kids were happy. Hubby and I shared the delicious queso con chorizo fundido which was amazing. He had the green salsa enchilada while I had the short rib tacos. Again their food is on point and won’t disappoint. For our family -> 8 thumbs up. We will be back.
