My daughter works for Cha Cha's Tustin so she wanted to take me to dinner at the Brea location. I have been there before and again was pleased. Food was great and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Frozen Mojito's were fantastic. Thanks
Food and ambiance always great. Except the beans and rice have never really been that good.
Great food and service! Sauces and spices were superb.....
Brunch had endless Mimosas for $ 10.00... great price. Service was awesome. Food was good, but it was a little pricey.
This is are favorite place to go. We enjoy the food, especially the Carne Asada, Salmon and the Chicken.. mmmm Every time.
Cinco de mayo
We have been going to Cha Cha's for years and it never disappoints. Food is great, lots of drink selections and the music on Saturday night is great.
This has high energy and a great atmosphere. My husband and I LOVE the food here. I'm not a pork lover and they make carnitas that I love. On a VERY busy night (Cinco De Mayo) our food came out perfect. I was very impressed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is definitely going to be a fav of ours.
We will definitely come back, great food. Thank You
Great service! Chips and salsas were delicious, loved the ceviche as well. Mushroom tacos were not my favorite. Would not come back because it’s so damn loud you cannot even order without screaming. No way to have a conversation with anyone either. I get there was a live band, totally cool with noisy vibe while they are playing. When they stopped however they just blasted they must normally have playing in crazy high volume. Too much, and I’m a partier.
Too loud. Too load. But it’s been that way since day one. Add music and it’s almost intolerable. It was quieter at the LB Grand Prix.
Too loud!!! We couldn't even talk to each other across the table there are four of us and we had to yell was ridiculous it was Cinco de Mayo but it was early at 5:30 confused why the music would be blaring out loud
Our 11th anniversary
We come here for taco Tuesdays.
If I’d taken my granddaughter’s advice and sat on the patio, it would have been far less noisy. For us, on this occasion, conversation was important. That said, other groups seemed to be enjoying the party atmosphere. Just a matter of preference. Our waiter was very good, checking on us multiple times and bringing extra accoutrements when we asked. Be sure to ask for a little bowl of their cilantro pepito dressing. Although they use it for their Caesar salad, we found it was delicious on many other things.
I've been to Cha Cha's several times and they never disappoint. Their food is always on point. I had the carnitas pineapple tacos. They are absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it. The staff is very friendly and our waitress was very attentive. There was a nice band on Saturday night which added to the already amazing ambiance.
We had EXCELLENT service. The good arrived SO FAST and they checked on us just the right number of times. Highly recommend for any occasion.
Was very loud inside even before any music started. I wanted three enchiladas (combo) but they charge $2 to make them all chicken. Prices are already at top end and found that irritating. Food was average, didn’t seem super fresh but rather heated (rice and beans). Service was good and friendly.
We went for lunch. The food was very flavorful and delicious. However, it was very noisy and it wasn’t even packed. We could hardly hear each other.
The food was great. The drinks were good. However I won’t be dining here again because of the noise level. Walking in hurt my ears. I thought my ears would adjust but they didn’t. It was an hour of yelling across the booth to have a conversation with people a foot and half away. Halfway through we gave up and ate our food mostly in silence. We ended up leaving and chatting over coffee at another restaurant nearby afterwards. I will add the service was good but we were celebrating a special occasion and just couldn’t have a conversation.
The main reason I chose to go to this restaurant with my husband on Friday night was that I had been to Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen with some friends a few times before and I really like that area of Brea. However that night, my drink was truly mediocre, my food was so so and the service was slow. Our waitress was pleasant though. I don't think I would make a special trip to go back to this particular restaurant again, but I would definitely visit the area and try some of the other restaurants in the area soon.
Great place with amazing food and excellent service!
Good food. Sangria was really good. Noise and music level a bit on the loud side.
My favorite was the short ribs enchiladas and the my favorite margarita was the ChaChas grapefruit Margarita. Our waitress Maria was very attentive.
Fabulous and such great service! Our server was very attentive and honest about each possible selection. She went through the entire menu with us as well! Highly recommend this restaurant!
This was the second time I dined at the place. The first time around, the food was prepared perfectly with the right amount of seasoning. This time, the seasoning was over done - my guess was being a Friday evening,a large crowd, the kitchen must have been very busy.
So my suggestion is done at this place on an off-day - the food will be much better!!!
Taco Tuesday is awesome.
Love Cha Chas! I have been here before and the food and staff are amazing!
Good service! Food was very tasty!
This is my go to taco Tuesday place. The watermelon margarita is back!
A little noisy
Went for Sunday brunch, music, food, ambiance was perfect loud. Sangria delicious!! Definitely coming back
Love the food and service. It can be very loud inside making conversation hard at times. If weather is good, you may want to sit on the patio if you want a quieter environment
Food and drinks were great. Wish our waitress was a little friendlier but that was the only complaint!
It’s always a fun experience at Cha Cha’s! Food is great and the service is always attentive.
Tried several menu items and liked them all. We'll return!
Food is fantastic but the room is crowded. The tables are too close and there is too much noise. You can feel the sound bouncing off the walls.
Not enough servers with so many tables on a Sunday morning. We waited a lot between chips, entrees and dessert. We had to keep asking for refills and other items.
Always a good time at Cha Chas’s whether for date night, friends get together or just to have a drink. 😉
This was our first time to Cha Cha' and we went for OC Restaurant Week. The 3-course, $30 dinner seemed like a great deal. The apps (flautas and agua chile) were fantastic. Big portions and very fresh. Wife got the salmon. It was a big filet and was vary flavorful. I got the carnitas (which is my go-to when trying a new "Mexican" restaurant) and they came out looking pretty charred. There were some fatty chunks in there and they tasted burnt. The fish-bowl margaritas were big and tasty, but very weak. The band was setting up as we finished, but seemed to be taking a little too long as the 4 year old was getting ansty.
Honestly, I was disappointed as I'd heard some great things about Cha Cha's and was left underwhelmed. We most likely will not be returning.
