Everything was great from the drinks to appetizers to entrees to dessert! Cassidy was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a good job
We really thought it would be good and a bit more festive
We started off with white wine which wasn't good. The waitress took it back. We waited an exceptional long time for our food which was okay. The steak was good. Chef needs to work on presentation. Deserts were good
Bar was very noisy right beside our table. Waitress had little knowledge of menu she was friendly but probably new. Food was bland I had the prime rib and it was extremely fatty and wasn't even served with au jous. As much as everything cost I was expecting much more.
Open table app took around 2hours to transmit to restaurant.
Food was good, but roast beef not cooked as ordered.
new york strip was not tender snd gristly on the end, not worth the $28
The evening special at CH Fields Craft Kitchen at the Hilton Garden Inn in Indiana, PA was an expertly prepared appetizer of scallops. They were properly seared to retain juiciness and seasoned just right; the mild taste of the scallop was not completely overpowered. That was just the appetizer. The entire meal was well prepared. We selected the nightly chef's specials of shrimp rosottto and the mahi-mahi over cilantro-infused rice and seasoned roasted brussel sprouts. The key in this review is that I remember the meal distinctly for its flavor and presentation more than a week after dining there. The CH Fields Craft Kitchen was a hit with us.
The food was excellent and Cassidy did a good job despite the bar being very busy. We will definitely eat there again!
We were extremely happy with our meal and the service. Bernie waited on us and was awesome. She took care of our special diet needs and took a moment to get to know us. She did not linger but she was polite and attentive. We highly recommend this place.
Great food at a decent price. Courteous staff. We dine here on special nights and the food never disappoints. Glad they could remain open during this pandemic.
The hostess was very courteous and pleasant. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely return when we are in the area.
Tara was our server. Outstanding service and food
This was our second time eating here. We met a friend for lunch. My Wife and I had the Rubin Sandwich w/ home made chips. My friend had the Steak and Cheese Sandwich w/ home made chips. We agree that this Rubin was the best Rubin we have ever eaten. The meat was tender corn beef and there was plenty of meat. It was served between two slices of marble rye bread. Very Good! Our Friend said his sandwich was very good also. The service was great. The area was very upscale. And the great part was the prices, very reasonable. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very easy to get to also.
The food was good but not worth the extra money. The prime rib was good but I've had better.
We were in town for a college visit. The sever/ bartender was friendly, helpful and made great suggestions. He accommodated my daughters requests to change vegetables. My daughter loved the braised short ribs, but said the green beans were “the star of the show”. We really enjoyed our entire meal, and our visit. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
Awesome food! Couldn’t believe there weren’t more people in here on graduation weekend. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Indiana with fresh ingredients and a wide range of delicious options. The bar fight added some entertainment, too.
Our meal was outstanding and server Rob was very attentive and very welcoming! Can't wait to come back!!
Disappointing food, especially after reading many positive reviews. Staff was excellent.
Prices are reasonable, esp. for a hotel restaurant. Meatloaf was dry & under-spiced.
Food and service was good if it doesn't bother you to eat in a lobby. Was pretty drafty. Hate to eat there in the cold months when the main lobby doors are opening/closing. Tables are located by the front door. The booth side tables are very close together. Very uncomfortable almost sitting beside the next table. And not one of the bartenders or manager could make a frozen margarita or daiquiri. Would've liked to had a few cocktails before a show.
Great restaurant for every occasion from date night, to family dinner. Not a huge menu, but a wide variety of choices. Kid friendly with good choices for toddlers. Only problem with our reservation was that they didn't have our Open Table Reservation. They were accommodating and thankfully had room for us, but this was a 5 star review for the restaurant and a 0 star review for Open Table.
Great food and the service was outstanding!!
Salmon entree is always phenomenal!
I feel bad for the he wait staff. They should be better trained!
We went before a show at the kcac. We had plenty of time to relax and enjoy our great food.
Our first time dining here! Food and service were wonderful. Will definitely visit again!
We had a small Christmas get together. Staff was very friendly and food was good. Great job!
Food is usually wonderful, tonight not so great. Service was very slow and server forgot to collect the bill. We waited, then got up and paid at the bar.
Wonderful food, well prepared, good service, fair price, and generous portion. Only negative is it is fundamentally in a hotel lobby area.
We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The food was delicious. I'll definitely be back. Thank you
This was our second trip for dinner to CH Fields. Our first time was a bit disappointing due to
uneducated wait staff. This time we had a young girl named Jordan and she was great. She knew her menu and was very polite. The food on both occasions was delicious.
It was a real surprise to find such a wonderful restaurant in a Hilton Garden Inn and in Indiana, PA no less. We were there to drop our kid at IUP. The food was excellent and creative. Some of the dishes might not suit simple palettes- my lasagna was not at all the traditional dish but it was wonderful. However, if you are not adventurous, they had nicely prepared prime rib and steak and a few other basic options. My salad was also exceptional, lightly dressed and very fresh. The atmosphere is quite nice but it is open to the hotel reservations area so it is hard to forget you are in a Hilton. They would do better to create some separation.
I had one issue with staff- they did not see a need to mark off my reservation since the restaurant was not crowded. I didn't want to get a "nasty-gram" from Open Table as they have notified me that I missed a reservation before when I hadn't. The staff person seemed annoyed that I insisted that she take my name and mark it off. However, the manager came over and all was well.
Salmon entree was wonderful !! Great menu and drinks!! so nice to have a hotel with a great restaurant in the lobby!
The prime rib was tasty and the fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes were delicious. The craft cocktails are very good, but you have to wait a bit. The appetizers and salad were also good. Interesting desserts, and one was offered no charge to the birthday girl at our table!
Excellent place to eat. Very modern and and exquisite food. It is a bit pricey but very good!
Brandon was our server and he was excellent. I have been there before and didn't have good service but loved the food. I'm glad we gave it another chance!
Excellent food (Swordfish catch of the day) and excellent service.
Went for Easter Brunch and all was very good. Would definitely recommend.
The reason I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know, is the head chef Josh. Everything is cooked perfect, plated beautifully, and served quickly. That kitchen is serving the best food in Indiana county.
Cauliflower ap is spicy and worth it... The Meat Loaf... just order it!
