We share 3 different starters, a main course and dessert. Every dish was excellent.
Not only different cuisine but really good.
We found this restaurant through a friend. Having been to Wilmington many times through our dsughter’s Time there at UNCW, we found ourselves going to many of the other restaurants noted in travel resources, etc. Finding Ceviche’s a real plus! Selections were uniquely prepared, fresh, excellent. Nice ambiance. The blackened tuna on Brussels sprouts was so delicious I can’t wait to come back & have it again. We will return
Always great. The tuna with roasted brussels sprouts was exceptional and no high carbohydrate ingredients. Always a favorite!
One of the top places for healthy and creative cuisine. Soft shell crabs were super. Thanks for so many gluten-free choices!
Very good food, very nice experience and very nice restaurant! We will be back!
Great service and food
First time visiting. The food and drinks was very good and service was excellent. A reservation is highly recommended.
Nicely located near Wrightsville beach. We heard it was on the food show "diners, drive-ins, and dives so we had a good recommendation from that. When we entered, it had a nice small vibe and great lighting. As I looked at my menu it looked great, was even having trouble picking something because everything sounded good. I notice the restaurants average plate price is around 16-25 bucks a plate which is not too bad. Since the restaurant is called Ceviche's I decided to get that as my entree. They have two portion sizes, large or small. I went with the large thinking the small might be too little. When the entree came out I could not believe how tiny it was. It was literally served in a bowl I use every morning for my oatmeal. The plate had no decoration to it at all and the food was absolutely tasteless. The service was great though. All in all save your money and go somewhere else.
Cuban ribs were tough and dry. The scallops were great. Service was great.
I love the food here, but you'll pay dearly for it. This is why I visit only rarely. A meal for 4 was over $200 with a 20 percent tip. Ouch. Ambiance is a bit lacking for such high priced food. However, the dishes are always fresh and delish.
food is excellently prepared, great flavors, very fresh; service is top shelf; prices are up there...not a place I can afford to dine at regularly.
It was my girlfriend and I Thursday night “Date night”.
Our ceviche was very nice. It could have used a bit of salt. There was no salt on any of the tables that I could see. My wife and I each ordered one of the specials. Mine was blackened wahoo, hers a grilled skewered shrimp. Both tastefully prepared and seasoned nicely. The owner made his rounds and we had a pleasant conversation. The pan-am and Latin flavors made for a very clean and appetizing meal. Coffee excellent!! No problem and we plan to return.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening at Ceviche's. We let the server, Colby, select our food choices. Not only did she provide an excellent meal, the choices were unique and delightful.
The service was great and so was the food!
Lunch with our boy at one of our favorite places.
Excellent food and really attentive service even when it was very busy when we first arrived.
Great food, great cocktails. Had the special. Blackened Flounder. Started with the El Quattro Ceviche’s.. love this place
Best birthday dinner ever! From our drinks and appetizers to entrees and dessert, we could not have been more pleased with this extraordinary dining experience. Our waitress was a gem, the owner stopped by to check on how we were doing and the food and drinks were simply awesome. Highly recommended.
We have moved into the neighborhood and can walk to many restaurants, Ceviche’s being one of them!
This is a great restaurant with a friendly wait staff and delicious food. Must try the Ceviche’s Mixto appetizer. I had the flounder special. Blackened flounder and dirty rice on a bed of arugula with a lite complimentary sauce. Hubby likes the corvina, which is sea bass. It came with rice and asparagus. Wonderful blend of flavors and fresh ingredients!
Consider a location in Southport NC before the expected population begins,
We Ubered it from downtown as it was well rated on trip advisor and Yelp. Had an appetizer of ceviche and was not disappointed! Very tasty and fresh! Had the red snapper special and likewise it was perfectly prepared and delicious! Next time I will try some of the different ceviches they have on the menu! Service was great and overall it was a very pleasant experience!
One of our appetizers came out with entrees even though we ahd ordered it with drinks, otherwise great experience. It was a bit loud but large group behind us. I ahve been here twice and will likely come back, great location.
We had a group of 8 and all the food selections were great. Especially the sea bass, blacken tuna, and vegetables. Our server was great.
We have dined there before and suggested it to our group, they loved it. We and they will be back!
Great space, fabulous food! Had the Seared Monkfish. Awesome. Our server was super as always.
Great local restaurant with amazing local owners. Food is unique and always delicious, Laura lemonade cocktail the best !
Love it !! I have food allergies and they are super great about it here! I have several options, too!!
Allergies include: Gluten/Dairy (Cow's milk), Oysters and Wheat. I love being able to eat a meal exactly
how it is posted on the menu without changes!! YUMMY!!
Outstanding food as usual. I had the Blacked tuna with charred Brussels sprouts and it was delicious. My only issue, is it gets quite loud on there and it’s difficult to hear other people at your table. But, still one of Wilmington’s top places to go.
Love the food here! Interesting and tastes delicious! A great casual restaurant. My only complaint is the wine pour. It is almost always skimpy. The other night 2 of us had a glass of wine. The first was ridiculously skimpy. Hated to order a second but I did. It was more of a normal size definitely much bigger than the first. It is annoying!
Loved this place! It makes you feel so close to the ocean. We made a last minute reservation on Christmas Eve and everything worked out perfect. All their dishes are exquisite. They also have delicious vegan options that my family loved. We definitely will come back for more.
Food was nothing spectacular. Two in the party had steaks, both were fatty and tough. One had sea bass that tasted "old." As it was Christmas Eve, perhaps the B team was on duty. Service was OK, again, nothing special considering the cost. Also, when seated in certain spots in the dining room, there was a very cold breeze whenever anyone left the restaurant, especially when a very large party was sauntering out and one of the woman felt compelled to hold the door wide open while the others took their sweet time leaving the restaurant. It took at least 10 minutes during which I put on my coat as it was freezing. Apparently, the servers were too busy to notice the lengthy time the door remained open. Too many good restaurants in Wilmington at this price point to go back and see if things are better on a non-holiday night. Gave a 3 as we probably should have known there would not have been top notch service on Christmas eve and the restaurant can't be responsible for rude customers. But 2 is more appropriate for overall.
Great overall experience! Food and service was good and the atmosphere was nice! Would recommend to everyone
Definitely worth trying. Be sure to have a reservation.
Ceviches is not typical dining. Which is what makes it special. Entree selection is everything, listed to your server and you won’t be disappointed. We had a wonderful birthday dinner. And they we’re very accommodating to our large party. Thank you.
