'Cesca Ratings and Reviews
Just got lucky going here . Sat at the bar. Cool place with great lighting and good music. The bar is long and inviting. The service was quick and friendly. We had a bottle of Rose (not my choice) and it was good.
The place was busy so we ordered food right away. The bronzino was excellent- light and fresh. My husband had the steak which he said was delicious. Desserts looked so good but we had to run! Be back soon.
It is such a pleasure to give this restaurant another Great Review! Everything from the welcoming greeting at the front door to a nice table to a great waiter and great food was perfect ! I live nearly and so many restaurants on the upper west side are disappointing . This is the best !!!!!
A huge disappointment. We have gone here many times over the years. Took an important out of town business partner and owed them an apology. The service was good but the wine they brought us was the not the year written on the menu. When we asked, they replied they had run out and only had the newer year. That’s fine but update your menu and pricing. IMO that’s just sloppy. The veal chop was $45, came out raw and looked more like a lamb chop. This is not the Cesca I have been to. Won’t go back
Happily enjoyed our meal at 'Cesca last night. The food was delicious. We shared a fantastic Kale Caesar, the mushroom ravioli and roast duck. A beautifully paired bottle of wine complemented the meal as did the port served to us with our dessert selections. I suggest the panna cotta and warm chocolate cake.
brought the boys here for a bachelor weekend. the pretty bartender made them very happy serving them big old drinks. the food delivered to the table was better than last time. they left a bunch of happy bums. large plates, lots of food, cold beers. doesn't get better than that.
Passed this place after an event at the Beacon and always wanted to go back for a try. Very happy I did. The music and vibe are super hip for the stuffy UWS places I've visited. It's got a cool European feel. The food - trust me - it does not matter what you order - will be a home run. My fish was perfectly cooked and served just as I like it - whole! My partners pasta dish was delicious, mixed seafood with their homemade pasta - served al dente - the way it should be!
My sister was in town visiting and wanted some good Italian. 'Cesca came up as a neighborhood gem - it's sure is! From the warm welcome at the door by the GM to the fast and friendly service, we were so pleased. The food was absolutely delicious. We shared a number of plates that are perfectly portioned for two. The beet salad, pasta with clams, NY strip steak and tiramisu, WOW! I can't wait to return! Neither can my sister!
We enjoyed our dinner at 'Cesca very much. The brighter look of the once dim restuarant invites a new feel of elegance. Their menu, although similar has taken on a different flare. There is more attention to detail. The flavors are all harmonious and delightful.
Visiting from out of town and was happy to find this place. It's warm hospitality was welcoming on this brutal winter's night. The musical selection, drinks and bar atmosphere were fun and entertaining. The food was pure pleasure. Everything was served with a smile an every bite better than the last. You must try their grilled octopus!
