Ceron Kitchen is the manifestation of the life long dream of Vicente Ceron. Vicente has had a desire to own a restaurant for as long as he could remember. After years of hard work and success as the owner of construction companies, he is finally realizing his dream. Vicente became friends with Ceron Kitchen Executive Chef Juan Jaquez and their relationship has led them to opening Ceron Kitchen, together. Chef Jaquez has worked in several reputable restaurants throughout the Bay Area as a line cook and head chef. Chef Jaquez presents his take on New American Cuisine at Ceron Kitchen. Chef Jaquez will feature Dinner to begin and will later introduce Brunch and Lunch menus. All will offer combinations of seafood and prime steaks along with his signature octopus dishes. Ceron Kitchen is located on the Westside of Alameda on Webster Street, nearby the old Alameda Navy Base. Vicente Ceron is currently building the campus for space rocket company Astra, just down the street.

If seated toward the back, a beautiful quiet spot for dinner. Drinks took longer than expected as the place didn’t seem that full. And the servers were a little overwhelming at times. The food was very very tasty, and beautifully presented, though just a little pricey.

Have never been disappointed. Every meal we’ve had at Ceron has been top notch. Tried some of the newer seafood dishes and they were uniquely delicious. Highly recommend the seafood chowder and the papperdelle. Leave room for dessert. This place continues to be a real gem for Alameda.

Made reservations for a birthday dinner. Service and food were amazing. Great wine selection and fantastic cocktails. Got complimentary champagne from the chef and cute Polaroid picture as a keepsake. Highly recommend for special occasions!

The food was very good. The holiday atmosphere was nice. Staff is friendly. Fortunately we were happy visiting with our friends because unfortunately the service was VERY slow, especially for the restaurant not being full.

We asked for beers but there was a very limited scope, nearly all craft beers. We ordered the Oysters, but there was no Horseradish or cocktail sauce. We ordered the wedge salad but there was no Thousand Island dressing. It would seem these items would be a staple in all restaurants. We had the Filet and the ribeye steaks and both were excellent.

Nice to have a good upscale restaurant on the island! Had the Ribeye, biscuits and tiramisu. Everything was very good and delicious - a little odd, the steak came with laoded baked potato and creamed spinach, turns out the creamed spinach was ON the baked potato. It did feel somewhat overpriced, even though everything is good it wasn't THAT good, and the service was good, but again not THAT good - as an example, we sat for a good 10 minutes before being asked about drinks. In short, upscale and tasty, but a bit pricey.

Went for my boyfriend's birthday and staff were very attentive right away. We both would recommend the Seafood Fettuccini and Seafood Chowder. I also had the pleasure of trying their Harvest Pumpkin beverage- delicious if you're a holiday flavor type girl like me. A little pricy, however, we would go again!

A lovely dining experience! The quality of food and service was outstanding. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and the kitchen/bar sent over 2 glasses of fizzies. So very thoughtful! The oysters, hamachi, seafood chowder, peach/blueberry salad, fruti de mare pasta, and the ribeye were all memorable. The Haselnut Paris-Brest dessert was dreamy and is now occupying in my mind rent free. Highly recommend this place!

Two of us drank and ate over $350 plus a generous tip to our server Arnold because he was a fine professional. All dishes were outstanding, particularly the Lobster Fettuccine and Filet Mignon. Very classy, a great date joint if you get one of the booths…..It ain’t cheap but you pay for quality and superbly executed cuisine and service at Ceron, save yourself a trip to SF and dine here in Alameda for that special occasion!!

The very best filet mignon I've had...EVER. And I travel globally often and eat at some pretty nice restaurants. Really impressed with this chef. He continues to surprise in a town not necessarily known for fine cuisine.

This is our 4th visit to Ceron, but the 1st brunch. Came with visitors, so 4 of us. Our hit ratio at Ceron is about 50%, and that proved true again. Biscuits w/honey butter were excellent, light flaky layers w/mildly sweet butter. Seafood chowder was good, not great. Ham Benedict was fine, standard Hollandaise sauce. Lobster Benedict had mashed avocado, maybe a bit light on the lobster. But its Hollandaise was....strange. An orange-ish sauce instead of yellow; it didn't taste of lemon, or butter, or anything else. It was simply bland and rather tasteless, very odd. Ceron is a beautiful restaurant, parking is easy, service is well-trained and cheerful. We loved Chef Jaquez's food at his previous restaurant, but are puzzled why it has not achieved more consistency to match its good reputation.

The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous. The food was good as was the service. The owner is wonderful and I love when you go to restaurants and the owners come around and speak to people, made our night. It’s a very welcoming feeling.

Attended one of the wine dinners tonight. It was excellent. We really enjoy the menu at Ceron. These wine dinners allow us to experience a 6 course meal that’s not on their menu. Outstanding! Chef Juan doesn’t disappoint.

I had visited this restaurant 3 times already .Love the environment there,and they have parking lot in the back too. I ordered the duck breast everytime, if the rice which come with the order is less salty will be perfect. The rack of lamb is awesome!Recommend to come this place.

Super nice staff, drink was slow but we were able to get free champagne as we were celebrating an engagement! Food was great but for medium rare, it end up being RAW. We tried to send it back to kitchen to cook a little longer but still came out pretty raw. No biggie, still had a great time

We were warmly welcomed and taken to our table. Wine and craft cocktails do not disappoint. The Sage and their Fall pumpkin drinks were great. The Ahi Tuna Tartar was tasteful and refreshing, although get an extra chip with it. Moving onto dinner the menu has something for everyone! Seafood Linguine and Scallops with octopus were exceptional, although octopus and scallops need some seasoning. Desert was another hit! Paris Brest was sweet and savory. Roasted hazelnuts and Gelato really brings out the flavor. Will definitely be back. Service was 5 star!

Meals were coursed very late, my drink order was wrong, my eggs were nearly undercooked, there were eggshells in my brothers omelette and service was slow. This is all fine amd dandy in a diner but if the meal costs 300 dollars this is was a poor reflection of the restaurant. They offered to refund the omelette and then backtracked. Better ways to spend money on food.

A bit disappointing after the wonderful Mother's Day Brunch in May. Service is always excellent. I ordered Eggs Benedict and asked for eggs poached med-well. What I got were hard boiled eggs with very little hollandaise sauce. The potatoes were not only cold, they were burned and greasy. Not what you would expect from Ceron especially with the high price tag. We may give them another try closer to the Holidays.
