   Food was delicious, cocktails were unique and strong, tasty vegetarian options! Group reservation for 8, and they accommodated us well, service was somewhat lacking but seemed likely due to it being very busy! One couple in our party never got their arepa despite waitress being made aware twice. Was a birthday reservation, and one friend asked about a small treat for the birthday boy and waitress was amenable to bringing something out but it was never received. Might not recommend for a special occasion but will be back for tasty food and casual evening with a few friends or a date!

   Fabulous staff, food was phenomenal, setting was absolutely gorgeous and sitting outside on a warm summer day was absolutely dreamy! Also our waiter was aware of a food allergy and was SO KIND - thank you!!

   Eveything was nice, drinks great. All food was off, just not tasty amd some of it bad. It's unfortunate because ambiance was wonderful, staff nice and attentive. The food was just not good.

   There were 3 people serving, but we had two dishes arrive before our cocktails. The second server realized we had no plates, silverware or drinks when he delivered the second dish. The ahi with passion fruit was surprisingly bland, and I love ahi and passion fruit. The dish with the fried plantain was tasty, but the plantain was thick, flavorless and dry. The arepa was perfection and the cocktails were great.

    The food was INCREDIBLE! Service started out great but started to slowly slack; forgot to put some things in for us and stopped checking on us as much. I only saw 2 waiters and a bartender so it very well could be they were short staffed so definitely going back, just know more what to expect. The food was one of the top places I’ve eaten in PDX and I found myself getting more and more upset that I was sharing plates with the table. I wanted it all to myself!

    Food was decent and hard to get that South American food in PDX. Food was all fresh. My only personal preference complaint is it was not spiced well enough. Simple dishes like the plantains and yuca frita, unlike most things, benefit from a lot sprinkling of salt after cooking. But not a complaint, just a preference. Drinks were wonderful, service was great, and place is quite charming.

    CEREUS was a treat. It was a casual fancy restaurant. It deserves the reviews it gets. One of the owners was walking the tables asking the customers what they needed. I had a really good talk with him about why Colombian? He told a great origin story of traveling the world as a bartender, going into business with a partner whose wife is Colombian, serving drinks from all over the world, and food from South America. They even brought a chef and his team from Colombia to prepare the delicious food. Definitely would revisit.

    Went there for anniversary. Turned out to be a lot more casual than anticipated, but that's probably on me. Food was good, didn't blow me away, but prices were reasonable and I didn't feel cheated or anything. Staff (2 people running the entire house and bar) did a great job. They were friendly and working hard to keep things moving. Overall a good experience.

    First time here for us. What a great restaurant. Food was excellent. Ordered the Arepas (Chicharron) and the Patacones (shredded pork). Delicious. Definitely going back to explore the rest of the menu.

    We tried out a few small plates on Valentine's Day. Great ambiance, and the spicy pork pressed plantain and ice cream dessert were excellent! The ceviche was also very good. The chicken arepas was a little bland. We enjoyed this neighborhood place and will definitely be back!

    Absolutely fantastic food, unique cocktails, and excellent service. The outdoor seating area was great, plenty warm without too much street noise. The only bummer was that the chairs were hard and uncomfortable (and cold); some cushions would have been appreciated. Otherwise, it was a fabulous dining experience - we will totally be back!

    The food here is great! The restaurant is very small and makes it hard to navigate. My wife is Colombian and gives this place a thumbs up! They give you menus, but when you are ready to order you have to go up to the cashier to place your order. The orders trickled out very slowly. our first two orders came out in about 15 minuets. then about 5 mins later the next order came and then another 10 mins later before I received my order. It appears there was only one wait staff so that may have been part of the problem.

    Loved the food, the empanadas were very good--as well as the other things that I had. Very cozy, nice place for a date or to catch up with a friend! Would recommend, and the service was great :)
