Cerdo has great food. Our server was outstanding. However the noise level was intolerable--the music was poorly chosen and, given the tile wall and hard (but beautifully decorative) ceiling, WAY TOO LOUD for pleasant dining. I spent the whole evening saying "What?" across the table. I am not sure I would ever go back unless they change the music.
Overpriced- small quantities
This is a small place with very good food and service. However, like many places today - the noise level was very high. Difficult to have a conversation at a table for 4.
The service and wait staff were great. The food was very delicious, however the kitchen staff was incredibly backed up and slow. All tables were experiencing long wait times for dishes. Might have only been a one time thing and it does not prevent me from returning.
We chose the restaurant based on the reviews we read. It was truly an exceptional gem. Excellent service and food.
The food is different and very interesting. I’ve been there a few times and I like to try many things . Love the sangria !
Our second visit. Great food, nice atmosphere. A neighborhood gem.
Brian Pieri does it again. Another fantastic local hot spot with incredible wines, fantastic food, and a great bar scene. Perfect date night!
Fabulous cheese plate and beautiful flavorful salads- all in all a terrific lunch
Great place, food was excellent, I liked the atmosphere although some might think it was noisy. Really fun place.
Music was way too loud. The cheese tray assortment was very good. Will return soon for another visit with friends
Food offerings were diverse and creative. Prepped and presented beautifully.
Drinks perfectly constructed. Waitress (Shaun) super attentive & as good as they get. Only downside were the acoustics and resultant decible level - ramped up by a tin ceiling and subway tiled walls.
My boyfriend and I went for a date night and had a great time. We decided that we wanted to order several small plates to enjoy more of the menu so we selected the Iberico Fries, Lamb Meatballs, Braised Wild Boar Ribs, and the Wild Mushroom Flat Bread. The Iberico Fries were crisp and flavorful and the remoulade sauce was delicious. The Lamb Meatballs were hearty and had an exotic flavor and the Wild Mushroom Flat Bread was a great comfort food to end the feast. The only thing we were not thrilled with were the Braised Wild Boar Ribs but I assume that was just our personal taste since they were cooked so well. We also had wine and beer with dinner that complimented the food perfectly.
An added plus was the exceptional service. The waitstaff is great!
It was great. Our server Kayla was awesome.
Worst server experience to date. 8:45 reservation. 10:45 exit. 2 hours, one drink and ghosted by the server.
It was very loud, which is fine if you don't want to talk to your guest.
Our meals were delicious but we were given no recommendations for appetizers/drinks.
If our server was a true professional my review would've been different.
Would have to go again and see if the second time around could be a better impression.
Cerdo is a newer restaurant thats very close to where I live. I've gotten casual drinks there before and it was a lot of fun, so I picked there to take my girlfriend on a date.
Mary really enjoyed what she got (bison burger and fries), and what I had (paella) was okay (kinda bland). It really just needed some salt and pepper, but they didnt come with the salt, pepper or ketchup (for the fries) until the meal was nearly over. So this is a subpar review mainly based on the service. In addition to getting the salt, pepper, ketchup late, we received our drinks 3 quarters of the way through our meal, and the charcuterie plate of 5, only came out with 4.
I hear good things about Cerdo so i'll try it again and hope it was just a fluke. We went during restaurant week, and we were seated upstairs away from the kitchen. I think they were just overwhelmed by the people and weren't staffed adequately. If the next time is better, I'll be sure to update the review
Enjoyed a Restaurant Week mea. Good food, good presentation and good service.
The food was very good . I had the roasted cesar salad and the paella.
Good is very good; drink prices a little too high, especially for martini drinkers.
Celebrated my birthday here the other night with a group of friends who had never been. We drive 40 min to eat here and it didn’t disappoint all!! Service was spectacular and every item we ordered looked and tasted amazing. Wouldn recommend Cerdo to anyone looking for great food, drink and environment.
This is a terrific restaurant!
While it features boar in several--memorable--dishes, the pasta is home-made and there are plenty of things on the menu to satisfy a pescatarian or a vegetarian. Service is friendly and professional.
We love Cerdo but when we went for New Year’s Eve 2017 they totally outdid themselves. The special menu was fabulous and neither my husband nor I could even finish so very generous portions for a 4 course meal. Service was exemplary & I never ran out of bubbles in my champagne flute.
Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the entrees. Recommend the lamb meatballs, boar ribs and pasta ragu.
Food was awesome and the menu much more varied than I had thought. And, they have their own parking lot! My fish was amazing and I brought some home. The octopus incredible. Salad perfect. Every dish was great. Good service. I would totally go there again.
Food is excellent. Nice bar. Unfortunately Much too noisy
Great food and service. It was snowing and nice to have the available parking only a short walk away. The cold outside came inside when customers came and departed. If you are sensitive to the cold, request a table away from the door.
Will definitely return!
Very drafty from the front door. Both
Entrees has the same similar sweet taste in both that we didn’t love when ordering a savory entree.
Great neighborhood gem! Wonderful ambiance with awesome wine and cocktails. Food good, not great- on the heavy side. We still had a great evening!
Great food, service, and atmosphere. Priced reasonably. I enjoyed the small plates- fun to share!
Great spot for weekday lunch - good selection of wines by the glass and awesome cheese/meat plate selections. Open, airy dining room with big windows - great on a sunny but cold day!
We had a fantastic meal with excellent service. The wild boar ribs were delicious, as were the special cocktails and gelato we ordered. The only detractor was the noise level. It is a very lively restaurant, so I understand, but I would have liked a little noise canceling technology.
The food was pretty good although shrimp I added on to my salad were extremely bland with no seasoning. They were cooked well, but had no taste. The fried Chickpea Panella was fantastic especially the red meat sauce it comes with. The lamb meatballs were also very good, but I'm not quite sure why they serve them on a big bed of shredded carrots that don't taste very good.
Great food and service. Music was loud and a little too much.
Music was so loud we literally couldn’t hear conversation at our own table, and everyone else in restaurant was talking loudly to be heard by one another.
Our waitress was friendly but drink service was slow, and one of the five dinners in our group came out MUCH later than the other four, causing theirs to get cold.
Despite growing up in Miami, FL, I didn't realize Cerdo means pig in Spanish - so be prepared to see boar in multiple preparations throughout the menu. I had their version of bolognese with homemade pasta and it was amazing! The croquettes are not to be missed either. We don't visit Conshohocken very often, but we would return the next time we're in the area.
The food was great and creative. Presentation was original .
Service was wonderful!
Price was great.
It was a great time and well worth it.
We went to Cerdo with another couple for dinner. The jamon croquettes and the bacon flatbread were delicious as well as all of our entrees. The boar burger is a must-try.
We had a really tasty meal at Cerdo. It was our first time dining there and we will return. I had the Iberico pork loin and it was delicious!!! My husband enjoyed the sardines (although I am not partial to how fishy they taste). We also shared a pick 3 meat and cheese board. The mahon cheese was our favorite. I enjoyed a glass of tempranillo. They a decent wine by the glass list and many beers to choose from.
I was very surprised by this restaurant. Fantastic atmosphere and great food. I highly recommend it.
The service was outstanding; our server was very attentive. Lighting was very low, hard to see what we were eating. Food was good, but eclectic menu.
