Cheese and meat board was amazing. Grilled tomato bread was also very good. The duck confit papardelle was good but some noodles clumped together and were doughy. The octopus was good but whatever the chickpea salad was spiced with took over whole dish. The service was good however we were being served by two different people who needed to communicate better. Overall really nice place.
The food was terrific but it took a while to get our drinks.
Great spot. So glad that we went. Interesting wine selection and menu options!
Always an excellent meal. Very unique and delicious
Love the place, the service was outstanding and the food delicious.
amazing food and service!
The service was impeccable, the food was DELICIOUS! I had the diver scallops which was phenomenal with parsnip purée, roasted peppers, and Brussel sprouts. Cannot wait to go back and have this again! My hubby had the wild boar burger which he loved! Had the gelato affagato for dessert= AMAZING. except Nutella gelato was in weird lumps and couldn’t eat that... but the vanilla bourbon was delicious! Our waiter was great! Also spoke to the manager who was very friendly and super nice! Overall-can’t wait to go back! Thank you for awesome place for a date night!
Staff could not have been more accommodating! Attentive. Food excellent. Would return in a minute.
For my birthday, my husband and I were running errands all day but with great focus on having dinner out. I jumped online and got reservations to Cerdo, arrived 15 minutes later and we were seated. I think there were two tables left open and quickly filled up. Beautiful space, decorated very nicely too! It was late on a Saturday and the ambiance was wonderful. Food was fantastic! My husband highly recommends the Wild Boar Ribs and I loved the meats and cheese boards and the shoestring fries! Terrific service as well! Definitely would go back!
Great dinner! Server was wonderful , the chef is amazing! Will be back!
We have dined at this restaurant many times and it was a favorite of ours. This past weekends meal was very disappointing. We were seated on the secon floor, which has zero ambiance. I would request seating on the main floor next time. Our waiter was quite nice and tried his best. It seemed there wasn’t enough staff to take care of all the diners on the second floor, so the service was slow. All this could have been overlooked had our food been served promptly and hot. None of our food came to us hot!
I’m not going to give up on Cerdo, yet. Hopefully, our next visit will be better.
Good local spot. Met someone here for a business lunch. Food and service were good. Would like to come back for dinner.
First time there! Liked the ambience and he menu. Scallops and beussel spouts were excellent as is he wine by glass selection.
Great experience and I can’t wait to come back! Sarah was a great server and the food was amazing and the drinks were magnificent. I can’t say enough good things about this place!
Noise level was over the top and our wait time for food was too long. My husband enjoyed his meal. My appetizer was good, but my flatbread entree came out cold. I asked that it be reheated and when the mgr
brought it out it was still cold. At that point I said nothing. We had used our utensils for our appetizers and rather than take the used utensils away with the appetizer plates, our waitress simply placed the dirty knives and forks back on the table.
The mgr did say that the kitchen was taxed due to a wedding dinner upstairs. Bring in more waitstaff and kitchen help if you wish to cater to larger groups while still serving smaller parties.
I was really looking forward to eating at Cerdo - it was a shame my expectations were not met.
Service was great. We wanted vegetarian (not vegan) and were fine.
Great service, very good food, bar too expensive. Oddly empty on the Friday night we attended, which made the atmosphere slightly cold. Great potential.
Delicious food and drink! Service was great! Everything was so fresh! Jamon croquettes were off the charts!
Nina our server was very pleasant and explained the menu to us as it was our first time at Cerdo. She also provided us a complimentary desert that was very good. The food was good and the overall dining experience was very good.
Hearty Mediterranean fare.
Very nice Old World wine list. Appreciated being able to get interesting wines by the carafe - nice when a glass isn't enough but a bottle is too much. Loved the tomato bread, worthy of Barcelona. The grilled manouri cheese was a new presentation for me and also excellent. Octopus was overly crisped and disappointingly came over a refrigerator-cold chickpea salad which should have been served warm. The ragu and salad were fine but nothing special. There are several other menu items I would like to explore.
Wonderful lunch, service was excellent and wonderful place to hang out and visit with friends.
Liked it, needs more small plates. Walked into Restaurant week , less choices, not great for the first time.
Waiter was exceptional.
Will try again
We attended on restaurant week. The 3 course prize fixe was limited and for most entrees added an additional charge. The food was satisfactory but lacked quality and imagination for the price. The wait staff were charming and attentive.
Food and service outstanding
Food and service were both outstanding! We enjoyed our dinner, it was during restaurant week, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We would definitely dine at Cerdo again!
Celebrated our wedding anniversary by dinning at Cerdo. Wonderful experience beginning with greeting at door to the amazing attentiveness and service by Maria our server. She suggested and brought us wine sampling. The octopus was the best we have experienced. The roasted romaine salad and flat bread were unique and delicious. We look forward to trying other menu selections on future visits. The entire experience contributed to a memorable evening.
Excellent food!! Wonderful server. However it seemed the kitchen was SLOW. The AC also was not working and the fan over us was also on the fritz. I would definitely try it again tho.
This was our first time at Cerdo. The service was good, food was good and an overall good experience. I did think it was strange they had a swordfish special when they also had it on the menu. The special was pretty good. Scallops were good, but not great. Lump crab and seafood pasta were both very good. Manager and server we both very attentive and accommodating. I will say the service slowed a bit as they got busier, but overall still pretty good.
Awesome, as all of the Pieri restaurants are! We shared a bunch of appetizers, the octopus, mushroom flatbread and the grilled caesar salad were all delicious! Also, the scallops, amazing! The bread and olive oil are top notch and the wine list is extensive and excellent! Professional, knowledgeable staff members always make us feel welcome, thank you! I love it here, as well as all of the Pieri restaurants! I am lucky to live so near by!!
Had the charcuterie, which was wonderful as a starter. Main courses were paella and two salads with chicken and shrimp added to the mango and the burrata salads. Everything was delicious.
the food was interesting and very good. loved our server, she was delightful. wish I could remember her name.
Not one I would go back to. Too bad. We need more neighborhood restaurants. Wines are mediocre.Food very salty and highly seasoned.
The food was delicious with lots of options. One of our meals was delayed for a significant amount of time, but both the server and the manager apologized and they did not charge for that entree. To me, that is good customer service. I would definitely go again.
I really enjoy dining at Cerdos. The team there is outstanding, Everyone is friendly and try to do whatever they can to make your time there enjoyable. The food is excellent and I make it a point to ask what they suggest and every time we have dined there their suggestions were excellent. Great place and never disappointing.
Awesome service and great ambiance, food was excellent too!
The cheese and meat board was delish! The burger did not disappoint, and the swordfish special was perfectly portioned and seasoned. Waitstaff was friendly and the wine was great, but dinner took awhile to come out of the kitchen. A great experience. We’ll be back!
Our first time at Cerdo. The manager and waiters could not have been more attentive. My wife and I shared a dinner. The food was great and looking forward to going back.
Menu was very creative and food was tasty. Altho the waitresses did their best it seemed they were a little understaffed, we had to wait for an extra fork and re ordering drinks. Not a big deal but it did come to our attention that there were only 2 waitresses for the whole room...could have just been the circumstances that night
Other than that I would totally recommend Cerdo and definitely go there again!
Loved dining on the patio. Flatbreads were outstanding.
We tried Cerdo for the first time last night. We love small plates so decided to give this a try. The 5 cheese and meat plate was wonderful. We tried octopus, lamb meatballs, and oysters for our starters. All were delicious, but desperately in need of salt. No salt shakers on the table, however.
The food was tremendously flavorful and we wanted to love it.
For our mains we chose the hanger steak which was delicious and SPICY, but needed salt. The grilled romaine salad with hanger steak was pleasant, but we had to ask for cracked pepper. The mushroom flatbread was delicious.
A few tweaks, some salt on the tables, and this place could be great.
We will try it again.
