An adventurous old world wine list accompanies our menu filled with dishes inspired by the region ranging from wild boar, to raw selections, to cured hams carved right in our bar area. Our energetic environment will take you to your favorite table in Barcelona, or favorite cliff in Sicily while you explore the simple ingredients that define the Mediterranean dining experience.
Verdi’s staff was friendly and welcoming. They treated my sister well because we were celebrating her birthday. We really enjoyed the wine selection and being able to order tapas-style.
My friend and I decided to split several several different dishes. All excellent and delicious. We had the chopped salad, crispy brussels, 1/2 dozen oysters and the Bronzino.
Our first time at Cerdo, but definitely won’t be our last. We all got different entrees and everyone was raving about good they were. We also ordered apps and were not disappointed. Even our server was happy and wonderful and provided excellent service. Great dinner. Highly recommend.
Lovely staff and a very nice atmosphere. There were three of us and we got several items all to share. Brussel sprouts were amazing.
I’ve been exploring different restaurants in Conshy and this one is by far my favorite spot! Incredible food, great service, and a cozy dining room! We split the brussel sprouts and the scallops, which were to die for. I will definitely be back!
The service was weird. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and there was no host available and the bartender was busy.
Absolutely superb! One our best experiences ever. This place has moved into our top place to go for sate night.
Love Cerdo! Best crispy Brussel sprouts in the world!
The food was just ok.
It is a great neighborhood restaurant that is cozy and comfortable. Food was unique and tasty. I return every time I’m in town.
Awesome small plates. Chef has a great taste of what works. The drinks are not your typical “craft cocktails “, they are several notches up from what you find elsewhere.
Seriously... who would have thought that beet juice, mezcal, and some other ingredients would taste so good. I know it sounds strange, but even my wife who hates beets and has an aversion to tequila loved it.
Service is on par with much more expensive restaurant. Wait staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the drinks, food and ingredients. Kudos to the management for taking the time to teach them about the menu as well as tasting it. It really made the experience feel like a friend was recommending items on the menu. The staff was always paying attention, and we didn’t need wait for anything.
We enjoy good food, so for us going out for dinner is the event of the night. They did not try to push us out or hurry us. It was a fun, relaxing night where we made new friends, ate phenomenal food, and tasted nice wines and cocktails.
PS. Their drinks program is really well thought out. The wines paired wonderfully with their food, and were very reasonably priced. The cocktails are truly inspired. John who creates them is knowledgeable and passionate about what he does.
Our group had quite a selection from the menu and everything was delicious. I just wish it was a little closer to where we live but I'm sure we'll be back!
We went on a Monday night. There were just a few people working the restaurant but you'd never know it because the service was just great. The recommendation of the monk fish was spot on. This was the second time I've gone there and will be back soon. Great restaurant.
Two of us ordered four appetizers. Drinks came out after first two appetizers. Brussels sprouts were excellent. Lamb meatballs were inedible. Buratta was flavorless. Mussels were fishy.
Couldn’t be seated at the time of our reservations. The hostess made sure to update us as time went by. Ended up eating at the bar which was actually perfect!
Extremely friendly service that was accompanied with a beautiful ambiance and delicious food. I was there for my girlfriends birthday and they went above and beyond to accommodate that. I will definitely be returning!
Absolutely loved their charcuterie board. Their truffle honey was amazing! Had a blast for a girls' night out!
Food was very good. Our server was great. Only dislike is that the table for 2 was very small. But great experience and good food
We did the tasting menu. It was an unbelievable value. I was stuffed with great food.
Awesome food, service was wonderful and overall experience was incredible. Can’t wait to go back!
Food took forever & the scallops were seared into near oblivion!
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and we really enjoyed it! Red sangria is delicious, the burrata and bacon slab flatbread were amazing!! Meat and cheese board was very tasty, but the lamb meatballs were tasteless and we could have done without them. We’ll definitely be back!
Very loud and very dark; otherwise, good food!
I chose Cerdo to host out-of-town friends who enjoy eating out as much as we do. The location was good and the menu looked attractive. Sadly, our entire meal was underwhelming. In an area with as many great restaurants as we have, I'm not sure why Cerdo is full on a Saturday night. We weren't aware it was the last night of restaurant week, so that could have had something to do with it; maybe the kitchen staff were bored.
The positives: the services was very good, attentive and friendly; the patio was quiet, intimate and lovely. Wine was delicious and well-priced.
The negatives: The food. We ordered from the three-course restaurant week menu; the full a la carte menu was not an option. I had been on the website only hours earlier and hadn't seen anything about a limited menu during restaurant week, so I was disappointed. My zucchini soup was nicely presented and would have been delicious, had it not been so terribly oversalted, I couldn't eat it. The jamon manchego croquettes were not as imagined; they were giant balls of melted cheese with no visible jamon. My strip steak, ordered medium rare, arrived very well done. It also arrived, as is popular these days, on a plank. However, the plank wasn't sufficiently thick to keep from sliding when I cut my meat. The broccoli rabe had large chunks of what looked and tasted like raw garlic and I was given such a small serving of the shoestring potatoes that I can't tell you how they tasted. The three desserts were all left unfinished, which should really tell you something. The zucchini cake was overly spiced and given a huge covering of a pistachio honey frosting of some kind. Sickly sweet. The lemon cannoli gelato had no discernible lemon flavor. Who leaves gelato uneaten? We did. And the pumpkin budino had to be one of the least successful desserts I've had in years. It was gelatinous, had the same flavor profile as the over-spiced zucchini cake, and also had an unusual and highly unappealing texture. One bite only.
Went here with another couple. First visit. My wife and I had diver scallops, very nice. The other couple ordered steak and broccoli rabe, and both of their dishes arrived cold and had to be sent back. Recooked meal was fine, but my wife and I finished our dinner before their meals were served. Both commented that the food was excellent. It server Jennie was terrific and worked with kitchen and manager to resolve, so the mistake was unfortunate. I was a bit surprised that nothing was done to comp items on our check, offer coffee, etc. We didn't ask, but it would have been smart to do that so our friends would return.
The experience was wonderful. Always wonderful. I've been a fan since inception and it keeps evolving!
Tried out for restaurant week. We were blown away. The food was cooked to perfection and we loved the flavor combinations. Will definitely be going back.
Went for Restaurant Week in Conshohocken. Food was better than expected as this was my first time to dine there. Service was very attentive. Portions were average size. Would definitely return.
I want to say that I liked it more but it was just okay for me. The appetizer was okay but nothing special as it was a chopped salad. The entree was butter poached shrimp with polenta and creamed corn. The corn was not very warm and the shrimp were a tad overcooked. Overall, the dish didn't have too much flavor. The dessert was the winner for me. It was a pumpkin budino and tasted absolutely amazing. The whole dinner was 2 hours long which was a bit long for my liking and the restaurant is very loud. It was hard to talk to my friends.
The patio was perfect for our casual meal of cerdo salad, oysters, buccatini and the arancini appetizer. The server was graciously accommodating. Sure to return
Love the food at Cerdo! Great tapas, everything is creative. My fave of the Pieri Restaurants!
The food was imaginative and very tasty, but it was much too loud there . Cerdo can’t decide if it’s a bar or restaurant, I think. The music was very loud and so the smallish group of patrons had to talk loudly to hear each other. As a result, we struggled to even hear our delightful server. It’s a nice spot, the parking is free, and the food is great, so if you don’t want to talk to your wife/friends/date, this is a great spot!
Our server was attentive and helpful. The highlights were the croquettes and the mushroom flattie. The Brussels sprouts weren’t bad but I’ve had better (Ripplewood). The place was dead so it wasn't very lively.
Great server who was attentive and friendly. Very nice menu with unique items. Ambiance is a cool vibe, warm and inviting. The shrimp with risotto was good- sauce a bit heavy. The flatbread with sweet potato was yummy. The burgers, Brussels sprouts and lamb meatballs were fantastic!
We had a fabulous dinner at Bar Lucca back in June and wanted to try out Cerdo. And let me tell you, I’m so glad we did. The ambiance and decor are warm and inviting. Our server Maria professional, yet warm and friendly. We decided there was so much we wanted to try that we would try the Chef’s Tasting Menu. We talked with Maria about what we liked and she and the chef provided us with a deliciously memorable meal!
We started out with a charcuterie tray of Prosciutto , Serrano ham, Manchego cheese, olives, crostini and savory/sweet spreads. Our next course was a chopped salad with spring mix, crispy chic peas, Gorgonzola crumbles, and Serrano Ham with a lite vinaigrette. Our next course was Burratta on a crostini with fig and arugula and also a flatbread with bacon slab and fried Brussel sprouts. The Burratta was so creamy and flavorful. Omgosh the flatbread was thin with fresh ricotta and grueyer, bacon slab and Brussel sprouts, well everything is yummy with bacon isn’t it?? Our main course was pasta with a homemade Ragu and also the pork loin in a luscious chipotle sweet potato purée. And if this wasn’t enough we had desert! A luscious lemon cannoli ice cream and churros with a passion fruit - white chocolate dipping sauce. Sooo good!! Can you say food coma?? It was a wonderful Mediterranean inspired menu influenced by Barcelona and Rome. Every bite was delicious 😋
The food was creative and delicious. My martini was divine. Will defiantly be back!
Great lunch with a business colleague. Food was perfect and came out quickly.
This is my go to spot for a nice business lunch or special occasion lunch. One of the best restaurants in Conshy. I can't get enough of the grilled romaine salad--absolutely outstanding. I don't even really like salads haha
Cerdo is an adorable restaurant conveniently located in Conshy - really great for small plates and shareable items and a nice drink! They don’t have a huge menu so it may not be the best option for a picky guest. Great ambience and service!
We ate at the bar and our server/bartender Maria was fantastic and other working were very attentive. The food was fine. That being said a couple of negatives: The time it took for our apps and entrees to arrive was excessive..not that it matters but restaurant was not super crowded. Also, while we like a lively atmosphere the noise level was close to deafening.
