The place was very nice inside .. our server was excellent.. I will say the wooden chairs lacked comfort not very nice to sit on too long..only complaint.. the food was great tasting .., will definitely go back and try it again.. was alittle loud inside ...give it a try
We were a party of 8 on a Saturday, 4 adults and 4 teenagers. We are all happy with our meals. Our son had the oysters as an appetizer and loved them, the seafood pasta was his entree and he was very pleased. Hubby had the paella and enjoyed it very much with its “slight kick” of heat. I had the scallops and pea risotto and it was really good. We also had the chopped salad appetizer which was huge and easily shareable. Our friends had the salmon and said it was great and their kids had the pasta Ragu which was probably he most “kid friendly” dish on the plate for those who have kids that don’t like to try new things. Everyone was very ally with their meals, including the delicious gelato for dessert with you usual flavors like goat cheese or lemon cannoli. The service was great. I wish I could remember her name but she was on top of everything, including filling our water glasses and checking up on us the perfect amount of times.
Overall, a great choice and we will definitely go back!
Awesome place, wonderful experience.
Very nice lunch experience. Fish tacos were very good. Loved being able to get Brussels sprouts in place of fries. They were delicious.
Fabulous food and happy hour! Staff is always friendly as we’ve come to expect from all Pieri restaurants. Love them all
Perfection! Took my very picky friend to Cerdo for her birthday. Even she raved abput hiw wonderful everything was! The Brussels sprouts were to die for, the wait staff was pleasant and attentive, and the atmosphere on the patio was pleasant. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend!
The menu looked great and certainly had some interesting options. Unfortunately, they missed the mark in delivery. Meatballs were dry and flavorless. Desert was meh. The cheeseboard and mussels were good. I had higher hopes going in.
It was a nice atmosphere and the food was different. Good but different. Need better chairs though, all wood and after a while they hurt.
The food was great but the service was even better!
another great dining experience provided by the Pieri family we are so lucky to have them nearby YAY
We visited Philly on Memorial Day weekend and had dinner at Cerdo. We tried the chief's choices among 5 adults. It was $45/pp and we were able to try out a variety of dishes among the 4 courses. Our favorite was the scallop with risotto. Service was excellent.
Great afternoon lunch meet up spot.
Food and drinks were good. Tried the seasonal cake, different but excellent.
We had dinner reservations for my boyfriends birthday and we had a great time. It was nice sitting outside. Our food was amazing. Muscles to start and I had the steak and veggies and he had the pork and pasta dish with brussel sprouts. Soooo good! Will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful meal with friends. The food and service were great. We will definitely return.
The staff was very nice and explained menu items but not in a "dumb down" way. The food was delicious. Shrimp tacos, bison burger down to dessert. Delicious and fun. Would recommend to friends.
The very next day we were sending friends running to try Cerdo! Start to finish one of the best meals I’ve had in years. Service was exceptional, the menu was inventive, assertive and just plain delicious!
Everything was fabulous. Definitely ate way too much for just two people but every bite was worth it. The boar burger was absolutely fantastic probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the Brussel sprouts were top notch. If you are in the area you should give Cerdo a try!
We loved it. We will definitely be back again soon.
Absolutely delicious! Best food in Conshohocken hands down. Service was great! Perfect date night!
This was our first visit to Cerdo. Started out nice we sat on 2nd floor at the window looking over the street. The server was very nice and friendly offered suggestions about food. Our specialty drink came out strong and tasted unstirred. We ate a couple small plates and shared a dinner. The small plate tasted good. The short rib rigatoni pasta dinner we ordered was over salted. We were only able to get a few mouthfuls in and had to stop. I mentioned it to the server and she stated that we were not the first person to say that and she would tell the chef. It literally left a bad taste in our mouths. We got our check and they still charged us the full price for the dinner. To be clear, I did not ask for a discount, but knowing how much we ate she should have pushed management to get it removed or discounted. A quality chef would have been apologetic and offered a discount or a free dessert to wash away the taste. It was disappointing. There are to many other options in the area to bother going back and try again.
Pleasant room and staff but food and service were just less than expected.
Wow! Our second time here. Food and service were outstanding!! Had a fabulous meet and cheese tray, followed by pasta, steak and paella (party of 3). Everything was truly amazing- delicious, fresh, well prepared. Our server was great- professional, warm and friendly. We’ll be back. Great spot.
The service was outstanding. They were a precision team that waited on us. We started of with 5 cheeses that were all delicious. Then we got the lamb meatball which was also delicious. My girlfriend got the chilean seabass which they substituted monkfish which was outstanding. I got the cerdo paella which also was outstanding.
I got the monk fish and it was fabulous. My husband got the steak and it was also great. The kids food was inedible but i guess they’re not really a kids restaurant.
We had a great dinner! Delicious meat and cheese platter and friendly, helpful waitress.
Excellent restaurant with great attentive service.
Outstanding spot for lunch!
We ordered beet salad. It came out with what we thought was minimal salad dressing. After a few bites we asked waitress for extra salad dressing. Given strong taste we realized it had no dressing. We told waitress and while she apologized we never should have been charged. Waitress had big table she focused on therefore service was average.
Excellent service from beginning to dessert! The braised short rib appetizer was excellent!
Very nice casual relaxed evening. Had the burger and was excellent choice. Service was also very friendly and made you feel very welcome as if you are a known regular
Small corner location that would be easy to miss. The service was very friendly and efficient. The food was superb. Prices are moderate.
Didn't love the upstairs seating area, but the food and service were wonderful as always!
The service was exceptional. From the time we arrived until the very end we had great service. The food, sadly, was poor. Out pan tomate was burnt. Our croquettes de jamon were cold in the center. The baked ricotta was served with an overly sweet chutney. Our main entree of rigatoni with short rib was served in a watery sauce and was not eatable. We were very disappointed because we really wanted to find a good tapas:Mediterranean restaurant. This was a huge miss.
The food was delicious but the service was very slow.
Nice setting and services. Good menu options. Always appreciate small plate options.
Food is mediocre. Not sure why they charge high prices for poorly executed dishes. My guess is folks in Conshy don’t want to drive the extra few miles to the city where the restaurants are actually worth the money. If this place was in the city, it would be closed.
Noise level was intolerable.
Our party of four ordered the charcuterie platter...as a shared starter....the cheeses and meats were sized for an individual serving...not something that would be shared, as the pricing would suggest. The food was fair.
The food was very good. We started with a cheese board. I had the pork loin which exceeded expectations. It was cooked perfectly. the paella was average as was the sangria. The service was great! The only fish option was salmon which was a bit disappointing for a Mediterranean restaurant. Also, ask to get seated downstairs. The upstairs has little ambiance and is incredibly loud due to acoustics.
First time I have been here. It looks like it was one time a corner neighborhood bar but looks nothing like a corner bar. It is very nice inside.
The app we had was supposed to be baked ricotta with crostini. Odd mixture of garnishes, the crostini was soft white bread. Usually something like that is a staple, took from in Riva though not even close. Scallops were scallops with a mushroom risotto. Nothing great and nothing I would go back for. It does god for people in area.
