To each wine an emotion...

Our inspiration is the emotions of men and women working their vineyards year-round to craft a wine they are passionate about. Emotions of wine tasters enjoying a glass, bringing back flavors of a unique moment of their life, flavors of a travel, or providing new unknown sensations.

The concept behind Cépaé is to convey these emotions to you representing winemakers who for the most part who would never have dreamt of even reaching the US shores. This, combined with bringing you simply the best traditional French fares and pastries in the area made by hand each day, aim at giving our customers an authentic slice of French culture in the heart of Bellevue.

When people leave our tasting room, we hope they enjoyed both the experience of fine, traditional French pastries and savory food along with the diversity of the wines offered. Nowhere else in Seattle, or the surrounding area, can you find such a massive selection of wines by

Food was good but the service was bad. What is the point of making a reservation when people walk in and are sat down before you?

L'Experience Paris is my happy place! Two years in COVID quarantine and this is the perfect place to start to enjoy a bit of freedom. They make the best french toast on the Eastside, maybe anywhere around here. The pastries are the best and the service is friendly and perfect. Rachel is my server and she made the time just delightful, with every accommodation to personalize my enjoyment. I look forward to more times in my happy place...with dinner next on the menu!!! My best advice: enjoy life at L'Experience Paris and tell them I sent you! Cheers!!!

We had a divine time at L'Experience Paris...one of my first times out since almost two years in COVID quarantine, and so worth it!!!From the first moment with our lovely server, Rachel, who made the time so welcoming and special to the final trip through the bakery for take home treats...it was a true treat. I had the yummy chocolate and hazelnut french toast which was the best I have ever had, and my friend had the excellent ham and cheese quiche, also good. I indulged in the choco-nut patisserie with an americano, my first ever, which was perfect. We both took home something to enjoy the next day: I got the kouign which is meant to be dense and chewey and carmely, which was perfect, and she got the pain de chocolate, also perfect. I look forward to returning soon and can recommend this lovely place highly! It is a pleasure to have such a sweet spot to call my special place!!!

Either unstaffed, which didn't seem so since it wasn't busy, but service was really lacking. I noted that other tables needed service and had difficulty getting a server's attention. They also didn't seem to know what had already happened at a table.

Limited menu and wines were not that great. We tried 4 and gave up. We ended up going to a different restaurant with more menu and drink options

Absolutely delish! We had the French onion soup, a charcuterie board, the cheese puffs, halibut, scallops and the duck truffle ravioli! All were outstanding. The quiet ambiance of this restaurant is something I seek in other places. I will most definitely return! Couldn’t be more happy with our dinner and service. A+

That Mimosa is fantastic especially if you are there for a dating or for the celebration. It brings the Romantic “experience” and is just great for escaping from the city atmosphere, which is fantastic, really! We were here for the brunch, and actually were there once before for the first try. We ordered Lime cake and that was fantastic as well. We got the croissant this time and unfortunately it was not warmed up. If it were warmed up, it could be very delicious, we just did not expect it was cold. We will be there again to take the warm croissant. I am very and super picky about the croissant simply because 20-ish years ago I had super delicious ones on the Swiss Airplane. I remembered texture and the crispy surface with the warm feeling, and always try to seek that experience. It was unfortunately we got a cold cross Issa the. I felt it could be the close one I had, but I could not justify due to the cold temperature. We will definitely return to check the warm and hot croissant. These two times, we both felt the coffee was just ok. This is a place for Mimosa and dessert definitely.

WOW! Everything about this restaurant was outstanding. This is some of the best French food We have had outside of France. The tart crust was buttery flaky perfection! The mushroom risotto was creamy deliciousness. The wines were all superb. We loved that you can do a "taste", which is a generous pour of wine for only a few dollars. or order full pours. We will definitely be back!

This place is a gem. The food was fantastic. A little overpriced for the ambiance but still delicious. The menu is quite limited but what they serve is yummy. We had the filet mignon, 58.00 for only steak, no veg, no garnish, nothing else. Very good piece of meat though. 8.00 for a few sliced roasted baby carrots but tasty. The truffle papardelle was creamy and tasty. The duck breast burger was good but small especially for 28.00. Again none of these main dishes had a garnish or any sort of veg. For the price they could add a small salad or tomatoes. It was tasty though. The salad looked like salad out of a plastic box with a few sliced cherry tomatoes. Nothing interesting or special there. Dressing was a simple balsamic vinaigrette. The desserts were amazing. All three were delicious. The charcuterie and cheese plate was very good. Good portions of cheese. The wine, a Pomerol was extremely good, 2018. Smooth, light, very delicious. We'd go more often if the menu was a little more extensive and the prices more reasonable. Service was very good.

The staff while very nice was inexperienced as to the pronunciation of foods, wine choices & alerting us of any changes in the kitchen (plates not available that were listed on the menu). Clothes worn by waitstaff were wrinkled. The chairs in the dining room for a 4-top were a little short for the table. Utensils came as if if the restaurant was a cafeteria. Two of the 4 dishes were over cooked.

The food was delicious and well-presented. The halibut I ordered was photo-worthy, although I am not a food shooter. The portions were perfect - I could have eaten more, but that is only an indication of how desirable it was.

Had the duck burger with Foie Gras, and wife had the halibut. We also ordered the roasted potatoes. Two glasses of white wine. Dessert was a chocolate/hazelnut eclair. Everything was good, but the dinner items were extremely expensive and small. As an example, while the duck burger was flavorful and well prepared, it was about two inches in diameter and a little less tall. It was supposed to have a slice of foie gras (at $12) but I couldn't find it. This tiny duck burger was $38 and likely the most money per volume of food I have ever paid, and I have been to many fine restaurants around the world, including France. All sides were extra, about $10 each.

As I stated, the food is quite good but the price for what you get is also very high.

Service was pretty good but not stellar (Bellevue location).

Food was alright, a bit overpriced for what it was. Service was atrocious. We ordered wine flights and it took them forever to bring it. They forgot to bring one of the wines we asked for. And they were super non knowledgeable about the wines, brought them out in random order and didn’t even talk about what the wines are. Same for the cheese platter, they brought it out and didn’t know what the cheeses even are. If I could give negative for service, I would’ve done that.

The service is atrocious. The service wasn't rude, it was just nonexistent. There were 4 servers, 2 busboys and 12 tables...they were not understaffed. We were there for 1.5 hours and the servers were hanging out in the kitchen instead of tending to the tables. The food was really good. This is one those places that manages to get repeat costumers only because the food is great.

The food is incredible. I was unsure I made the right choice for date night as it was not very busy but the food did not disappoint. The server struggled a bit to explain some of the items on the menu but again the food made up for any questions we had. Still could add a bit more truffle to the black truffle pasta 😊. But compliments to the chef!

The server forgot us and might have forgotten to hit send on our order. Many around us got their orders in after ours and received food before us. It took 15 min to get our wine after ordering. I get that it was busy, but, since it’s a wine bar, you’d think that it should be a bit quicker.

The food was fine; I probably won’t return, since I felt ignored by the staff.
