Centre Park Grill
Went for brunch, it was ok. Going to come back another for dinner to see how that will be
This was my 1st time here and all I can say is I love this place. My waiter Kelly was awesome!!!! From the time I walked into the door there was no wait, my appetizers and food came out in no time! If you ever go you must get the fruit punch drink. I will be returning soon.
It was Valentine's Day. The food was reasonable, even daily specials applied. The food was tasty, wine list was fine and the Merlot we ordered was excellent, and the bill did not impoverish us. The only thing was we had to remind the waiter of the special prices, and I wish places would go back to one waiter per table.
It was a nice place to go, local, not too far in the middle of winter, and we were satisfied enough to return again.
More elegant than your average neighborhood restaurant, CPG still has a coziness and well-balanced menu that makes it a great repeat dining restaurant.
Always enjoy Center Park Grille. The sword fish was ok and can't compare to the salmon you use to have on the menu, which was fantastic. Your cheesecake is awesome.
Service was excellent and stuffed shrimp special was delicious. Filet mignon was cooked to order and good. Providing au jus and horseradish sauce would have elevated the steak flavor.
We love Centre Park Grill...the service is always great (Antonio was our server) , the food comes quickly and is always good (love the new menu especially the pizza choices) and as important, you can hear yourself talk...never too noisy. Love having a neighborhood restaurant that has ample parking and a friendly, welcoming staff.
Staff is always friendly & welcoming! Food is very tasty & always plated beautifully! I've been here a number of times & never been disappointed.
Generous portions. Cream of crab soup was delicious.
My new favorite place to dine
Food was great. Service was not great.
first time out and last.
ordered wine at the start of the meal did not get till after we asked for the check at end of the meal.
food order came out mixed up after a quick fix the food was not too bad, just nothing to rave about
The food was ok overall. The cream of crab soup has a great taste but is a bit thin. The chicken Caesar salad was decent but seemed like the chicken was microwaved. The crab and corn fritters are always delicious.
Really like Centre Park Grill. This time, however, we went specifically for the weekly/Tuesday paella only to find out it is now not weekly, but only on the second weekend of the month.
And they were out of items even at 6:30 pm. Disappointing.
Server was outstanding, Ben.
This has become our favorite local restaurant and go there often. The food is consistently delicious and the service is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My husband ordered a Caesar salad to start but it wasn’t brought out until we got our meals. It was very fresh and not overly dressed. His crab cake was full of lump crab meat and the grilled asparagus was perfectly cooked. My burger was prepared perfectly and was very juicy. The hand-cut fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. For dessert we shared a piece of five layer chocolate cake that was well worth the calories. We always have a very enjoyable dinner whenever we dine here.
Frontier Old Fashion was excellent as always. Had the meatloaf, potatoes and asparagus. Meat was nicely spiced. My wife has one of the hamburgers. This is a nice neighborhood restaurant with a small menu, but great bar.
Nice spot. Food and cocktails are top shelf. Got the prime rib and it was perfect.
Overall good but disappointed that an advertised paella night was cancelled ( still on website) and there were a few menu items unavailable.
Our son brought us to have dinner, we suggested your restaurant. Our son's mother had the stake tips, which was a mistake. The meat was tough, the vegetable was not tender (very large stalks) . She decided not to send the meal back. Our son's burger was not cooked to his direction and the fries had a strange taste and was sent back. My shrimp and crab was excellent.
Our dinner was delicious! Our server was pleasant and attentive. Love to dine here!
This restaurant is a favorite. Food is always good. Our server, Kelly, was attentive without being intrusive, and quite personable.
Our son was visiting from NJ and wanted a good crab cake that he can't get at home. We went to Centre Park Grill since that's one of my husband's and my favorite local restaurants and we all had a great meal. My son started with an appetizer of wings with ginger/chili glaze and they were delicious (I had to try one since they looked so good). All three of us ordered the 7 oz. crab cake with different sides, all of which were great selections. My son couldn't get over the size of the lump crab and lack of filler in the crab cake and said he realized how much he missed them. Before dinner my son had an Old Fashion and I had a glass of wine, both of which were enjoyed immensely. Our server was friendly, professional, and very attentive without being intrusive.
First time at the Center Park Grill. Food was very good. Drinks were very tasty. I had the bourbon espresso for dessert drink, and it was exceptional. The only negative was that our waiter disappeared and could not be found several times. He seemed to be down and distracted. Hope he recovers.
I've been to Centre Park Grill many times & it never disappoints! Service was friendly & prompt! Menu has just the right variety to satisfy diverse tastes! Tuesday is a great 1/2 price wine night!
After visiting this restaurant on several occasions for both lunch and dinner and always finding it to be an excellent dining experience, this was the first time I was very disappointed and I regret having to write this. Five friends came for lunch at my recommendation. We were seated immediately and our server was kind enough to inform us that there was a large party who hadn’t ordered their main course as yet so we should try to decide quickly to avoid what could be a long wait. When our food came out I was very disappointed to find that the Reuben sandwich that I had come to love there came out cold, the bread was hard and the corned beef was very chewy. I should have sent it back but didn’t want to cause a scene or hold the others up. As usual the fries were delicious but not very hot. I’m not sure what was going on in the kitchen that day but will give it another chance to redeem itself. We appreciated the fact that the server was willing to give separate checks to avoid the drama that goes on when people try to nitpick through the bill at the end of a meal.
Another pleasant brunch for 4 adults and a baby. Antonio is a wonderful server. Recommend: cream of crab and loaded potato soups; burger; frittata; chicken salad and country breakfast. Very tasty pumpkin cheese cake as well peppermint cheese cake. Will return.
We had our holiday lunch at CPG. There were nine of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. Lamb burgers, crab cakes and salmon were all hits. The bread pudding was enjoyed as well as both of the chocolate cakes.
Bennett is a great waiter. Crab cakes are delicious and filled with crab meat not bread crumbs... love the menu.,
The food was great overall. We’ve been dining here multiple times with family and friends and it’s always been a great experience. My husband and I had the grilled steak salad and NY strip. Great ambiance. The only thing I noticed was the guy server didn’t ask if we want dessert or how’s our food went. Never refilled our drinks and only came back for the check. We always get the lady server who’s very nice, and always go above and beyond. Too bad we didn’t have her this time.
This was our first visit to Centre Park Grill. The restaurant is located in the ground floor of an office building - plenty of parking on a weekend. Our server, Joe, was great - our needs and was very attentive. The whole staff was helpful and pitched in when needed. Our appetizers - soup, chili, salad and wings were all great. Some of the entrees were really good (pork chops, shrimp scampi, meatloaf, burger) others not so much - beef tips were way over cooked - super well done - we were not asked how we wanted them prepared but no one would have wanted them as they were served. The scallops with risotto - the scallops were overcooked so they were chewy. Overall, it was a decent first visit - we will be back and order some different things.
We had a party of nine. Luckily we were seated in the back room as two of our nine were kids. Our server Kelly was very accommodating and professional. We enjoyed our crab cakes, steak salad and bison burgers.
Delicious food, wonderful service great atmosphere!
The food took a while longer than we expected to come out, but it was good. Not too noisy, though kids are welcome. Friendly wait staff and tasty adult drinks.
Waiter was a bit off that night. Chicken s little dry (rosemary chicken).
Go to Center Park Grille on a Regular basis. Food is always good. Also enjoy their excellent bourbon selection.
Brunch does not offer a large menu, but all brunch items are delicious (yes, I've tried them all as there are only just over a dozen) - the great thing is that there are quite a number of non-brunch items available as well for those who might not want a more breakfast-type meal. Today was the spinach and gruyere omelet, served with an English muffin and grilled/roasted potatoes. The omelet was moist with lots of spinach and cheese - the perfect size for brunch. The tea selection should be broadened (an English breakfast tea is de rigueur for brunch), though they do offer Constant Comment which worked perfectly that day. There are also cinnamon rolls available, though these were not mentioned on the menu as they must be a special seasonal item. The cinnamon roll was quite good, with perfect caramelization and excellent flavor, though at eight bucks, a little pricy. Great mimosas at only four bucks seem the better value. Service was perfect. All in all, a nice brunch location which is quiet at the beginning of the brunch time frame (10:30am on either Saturday or Sunday) if you like a little peace with your meal.
Our server was completely and totally uninterested in serving us. So....that put a real damper on our experience!
Service was great, food was awesome.
Appetizers are quite good - as they were out of the perfect calamari (it was a Sunday and we dined later than usual), this evening's selections were the Corn and Crab Fritters and the Crab and Artichoke Dip, both expertly prepared and piping hot. The varied selection available on the menu allows everyone to enjoy a preferred entrée: a Cilantro-Lime Chicken Salad; a Sausage Flatbread (a weekend special which deserves to be on the regular menu); a Crab Cake dinner; two 8-Ounce Tenderloins; a Sesame Salmon; and a Hokkaido Scallop dinner. Every meal exactly as ordered! My filet was perfection - as well as the sides. A substitution for the spinach in the Hokkaido Scallop dinner met no resistance.
The one challenge is that the wine we had two nights before was sold out. However, a good second made a fine substitution. Service was spot on, though as we made our reservation just moments before we dined, we were tucked in the corner of the front part of the restaurant, which actually worked well as the location offered a bit of privacy. The Bourbon Pecan Pie served well as the only dessert shared between seven diners, and did not disappoint.
This dining experience was a nightmare! We were seated in back corner and no server ever came. After 20 minutes, we watched a nearby table of 4 get seated and a server promptly attended to them. I asked him if he could help us, and he just ignored me. Got hostess to alert server that we were her table, but she still never came to wait on us. Busboy, delivering our water to the wrong table, eventually came back with water and became our server because no one ever came and he admittedly took pity on us. Surrounding tables were laughing with us at what a joke it all was and offering us some of their food! Even after, the service was still poor. After 30 min at restaurant, while busboy was at our table, another busboy attempted to deliver wrapped up leftovers presumably from previous guests! And the check from previous guests was still at our table until we finally handed to the server to remove. Caesar salad was sad and bland. My husband's halibut tasted like dirty dishwater. My son's 12oz NY strip was tough, dry, and tasteless. Neither of them is picky...they'd eat anything. My 8oz beef tenderloin was pretty good but undercooked. Management or hostess might've checked if we were satisfied, offered a comp drink or dessert, or just apologized for the emabarrassing experience. Even as we headed out the door, the 2 young hostesses were hidden behind their hostess station, kind of leaning into a coatroom (I think) and staring into their phones. The whole experience was a disgrace! Don't waste any time dining at this establishment. They missed every opportunity to "right the wrong" of a bad dinner experience.
