   I like going to Central Social Hall. The service is great and I’ve had very good food in my 3 visits here. My only complaint is sometimes it can get very loud and we can’t hear ourselves talk. However, I do understand it caters to sports fans who are there to cheer on their favourite team. I just have to come on the quieter days!

   So glad we went back and used the BOGO’s they gave us from Down Town Dinning-Week. Total redemption! Same server as last time… different much better experience. The music was at a good volume, food was awesome. We had a very nice experience! Thank you, Miss Ella J. and Jasper central Social Hall, well done. 🖤

   Overall, great place for a night out. Highly recommend their happy hour cause I found that their dishes isn’t much for quantity and price. Tried their shrimp tempura sushi, and was mediocre at most, 2 pieces of shrimp, and mainly rice…for $18. Would recommend another dish, and skip that. Stick to getting their drinks. Service here is slow, found myself needing to wait 10 minutes to get attention from a server.

   We participated in the downtown dining event. Menu was terrific. Food was so tasty! Our server Sunday night was fantastic! He was very attentive to our needs and each change in course. Unfortunately there was one loud group that were very distracting. Cannot pick your customers. Overall it was fine. But there was no need for the two ladies to be swearing and shouting so loud.

   Initial seating was poor due to a loud party at next table. They found us a new table out of the way. Sound level much better. Service slow to start but improved. Food was excellent.

   We were not enthusiastically greeted or asked if our reservations at 18:00h, were for Down Town Dinning Week. We had to ask for DTDW menu, like oh right that’s on now., not just hockey night. Our server although sweet should not have been given another table; she was already swamped with hockey game folk in a different area and several other servers seemed to have little to no tables. The mains were fair to quite good. Some sides were basic and mediocre, but one was exceptional, portions were great. The dessert came out in a LARGE portion frozen…Taken back, small dry pieces returned in their place. We must have been under a speaker, it was hard to have conversation; that noise level I’d expect later at night. With a minor complaint the manager compt’ the entire table which was a very nice gesture and appreciated. I think that kind of dinning is a special experience and should be treated as such, there are many places to choose from. I did feel bad bc an entire comp’ was not at all expected or necessary. We will be back, knowing this location has a different ambiance than the other we tried. It wasn’t what we expected, but we left happy with the generous gesture of we want to make it up to you. Definitely give it a try it has great energy if you’re stopping by on a Friday night heading to an oilers game!

   CSH and our waitress were very accommodating. They were able to tweak the Dntn Dining brunch dish I had ordered so ... much appreciated! Great service; waitress was lovely.

    We went for dine around Edmonton. Food was good, generous portions and great value for money. Some of it could have been hotter. Restaurant was not particularly busy, seemed to be mainly people going for a drink after work.
