   Always outstanding but today especially so. Met at the door by a very friendly and accomadating host who took us to a beautiful table on the water. The champagne paired perfectly with the crab and avocado salads and the shrimp cocktails....the service was excellent - and the bonus was that it was gently sprinkling on the boat pond which added to the romance of the day.

   You cannot beat the setting in Central Park by rowboat lake. The food is OK but expensive and I find it insulting and petty to have to pay for rolls if you want bread. I also didn’t like the fact that a 20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill which if you don’t look carefully you may not catch.
