   Ambience was lovely. View spectacular with great jazz music in background. I was disappointed with the food. They forgot our drinks and steak knife. Food was over all cold, stake not cooked to order. Had to send chips back and seem to have been reheated. Manager refunded some of the cost but made it seem my problem that I didn’t report every fault at the time. I was frankly embarrassed to have needed to complain so many times. I personally wouldn’t go back but don’t let my experience put you off. You might get a better chef. Service was great.

   Had a lovely meal at the Boathouse. Service was good. Food was okay. Ordered the duck and the peaches included with the dish were not ripe. Aside from that, everything else was quite tasty.

   Always outstanding but today especially so. Met at the door by a very friendly and accomadating host who took us to a beautiful table on the water. The champagne paired perfectly with the crab and avocado salads and the shrimp cocktails....the service was excellent - and the bonus was that it was gently sprinkling on the boat pond which added to the romance of the day.

   They were kind enough to find us a table with an outlook we had our young granddaughter with us - a beautiful family niight in gorgeous surroundings We will be back x

    You cannot beat the setting in Central Park by rowboat lake. The food is OK but expensive and I find it insulting and petty to have to pay for rolls if you want bread. I also didn’t like the fact that a 20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill which if you don’t look carefully you may not catch.
