Dine with us in the beautifully updated restaurant that reimagines the Boathouse's iconic history and charm. Reviving old traditions and making new ones – we’ve got something for everybody. We take reservations 21 days in advance. Should your desired time not be available, we take walk in tables all day long.

Monday - Saturday
LUNCH: 11am -4pm
DINNER: 4pm-9pm

Sunday
BRUNCH: 11am - 3pm
DINNER: 3pm-8pm

In addition, our outdoor Café, is open Daily from 8am to 7pm and our Dockside Bar is open Daily from 11am to dusk, weather permitting. Both are first come, first served and not bookable.

**Please Note** Our restaurant is located inside of Central Park, which means all guests must arrive on foot, there is no parking at our property. The closest entrance and cross streets are 72nd street and 5th Ave.

Everything was spectacular. The cocktails are top noch. Food was a 10. Survive was on point. View. Can't go wrong

This was my husband’s and I first time at the Central Park boathouse. Everything was amazing. The staff and servers made it very enjoyable. The hostess were all friendly and gave us a chance to move up our reservation since we were stuck in traffic. Once we made it to the restaurant we were sat shortly and had the view. Our server was sweet and answered all our questions. She was attentive and funny. This is obviously not our last time, we will continue to make reservations for the future. We will get a chance to reserve the boat rides as well. Thank you for such a special day.

Excellent service. Very relaxing with the lake, birds, fish...pea soup and Parkers rolls were lovely.

We celebrated our anniversary with lunch at The Central Park Boathouse, and the experience was truly unforgettable. While I’ve always been impressed by this iconic location, this visit stood out in every way. The staff went out of their way to acknowledge our special occasion, greeting us with warm anniversary wishes, honoring our request for a window-side table by the water, and even adding a thoughtful touch—a personalized message on our dessert. Our server, Clay, was exceptional. He demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the menu, describing each dish with clarity and enthusiasm. Beyond that, he shared interesting insights about New York City and Central Park, and even connected with us over our hometown, adding a personal touch that made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was outstanding—each dish was beautifully prepared, with clear attention to detail from the chef. The pricing was exactly what we expected for the quality of the cuisine and the serene ambiance. Thanks to Clay and the attentive service, this lunch became more than just a meal—it became a cherished memory. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate.

My first time back since the ownership changed. The space is as great as ever, but sadly I found that the only thing worth going for. The food quality and service have definitely declined. I was seated promptly for my reservation, and got water, but then waited nearly 10 minutes for the server to come with the menu. Then he appeared to forget me and it was another 10 minutes before he returned to take my order. I had the roast chicken which was a nice Frenched breast, but it was smoked (not mentioned on the menu) with a glutinous brown sauce that certainly did not go well together. The broccoli rabe accompaniment was flavorless, and the so-called lemon beurre blanc that was supposed to be with the chicken was instead a pasty bed beneath the broccoli rabe. The French fries ordered as a side were more soggy than crisp. I again waited for a dessert menu, which never came so I borrowed one from the diners at the adjacent table. Hoping for a better finish I ordered the chocolate mouse which tasted fine, but had a thick texture with an overlarge portion of a dense whipped cream on top. Overall a real disappointment for a place that was a wonderful treat that I've relied on for years.

Had the most lovely birthday lunch. Adnan looked after us so well, was very accommodating to all our questions and made me feel so special on my birthday. He is an amazing asset to the team.

Was looking forward to this as I had wanted to eat here my entire adult life! Hostess was great and we were excited to have a table near the water! Took ten minutes for our server to bring a menu and he was brief and rude. That is absolutely because 20% gratuity was automatically included in the bill. Tired of that then no one bothers to do a god job. Anyway, ordered a burger which was delicious and the chicken Milanese which was super dry. Waiter never asked about our food and our bill came it was outrageous which was to be expected, but annoying because food was mediocre and service stink. They are definitely surviving on their reputation alone!

The Boathouse never disappoints. I'm kind of local, they say it's for "tourist" but whats the point of having something so great near you if you don't visit. We had a wonderful time. The food and view and even the fellow customers were great! The best part though was our waiter!! EDGAR!! He is the greatest server!! He took our ques to leave us some time, when to take the order, suggested a great wine. And friendly as ever!! Fanstatic experience!
