The wait staff was fabulous. Creative dishes with quality ingredients. Cozy feel to it.
A very affable ambiance but was not bowled over by the food. Perhaps a need for a bit more spice.
Every dish in the menú felt like an adventure. Beautifully presented, great taste, meticulous combinations, yet light and delicious. The food was outstanding! The ambience was casual but a bit sophisticated, very Californian.
Restaurant telephone person was superb!!!!!!!!!Service was great. Pasta was not hot
I came from Piedmont for the dinner which is a compliment due to traffic. I visit Flour and Water as well. Happy New Year.....
The food was pretty tasty and nicely plated. We had the steak tartar, squash, the pasta with duck (I forgot what the actual dish was called), and short ribs. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would come back if we're in the area!
service was disjointed. seems that the waitperson on call changed midway thru our reservation without coordination of the team. chefs selections were hurriedly delivered to table without much detail of the items or how they were prepared.

Beautiful environment, wonderful interior decorating, good ambiance and sound travel, I liked the vibe and the location; the service was fine. The food wasn't great. A cold mushroom dish, basic fermented foods, a decent salad and an ever better cold trout dish. Ferments in tiny masonry jars, mushrooms in a wooden bowl, tiny trout on an Ikea plate. There's an old saying, let's not try to reinvent the wheel. Love the place but let's stick to basic plates so all energy and focus can be placed on improving the menu.
Love this little gem!! Definitely my go to restaurant for date night and weekend dinners.
Excellent food all around but the pastas are particularly good. Good size portions are great to share. Terrific and interesting wines to pir with good food
