   I had a reservation but when I got there, the place was closed for a private event. And no one ever alerted us. Not sure what to make out of it.

   Mussels were great. The carpaccio was solid. The raclette was decidedly mediocre - mostly the veg it came with - bland and uninspired. The hot toddy was awesome!

   This was our second time at Central Kitchen; this time we were joined by another couple. The food was excellent (again), but the service was terrible! Our server spent more time chatting with another patron at the bar than attending to her tables. We had to waive her down to bring us our drinks, and then again to bring our starter (both of which were ready and waiting once she checked for them). I’m torn whether to return. The food was excellent, but (for me, at least) feeling a bit “pampered” is an important element to dining out, and this time I felt anything but.

   Noisy, but otherwise pleasant. Could use a better wine list, but that's always hard to come by. Great lamb burgers, all food tasty and well-presented.

   Central Kitchen is a "go to" spot for a friend of mine and I whenever she is in town from nyc...the food is consistently very good and the make a great caesar salad. The wait staff is professional. The nosie level can be a bit much at times but when we last went, it was perfect!

    Small restaurant but very impersonal for its size. Bad experience. Unfriendly, curt hostess did not greet us and immediately went to type on her laptop after seating us, where she remained despite the arrival of several other guests (non-locals we gathered) who had to seat themselves. We were placed next to a couple shouting on their cell phones even though there were plenty of tables that were free (only 12 tables all in a row). The food was fine but not particularly remarkable. Waitress also was not very warm. We would not come here again.
