Central Bar + Kitchen
I made a reservation for 10 am and when I got there, they said they don't accept reservations for breakfast. They sat us within 20 minutes which was fine. The server was very short and seemed in a hurry. Possibly they are understaffed. I didn't realize this was a hotel restaurant until after I made the reservation otherwise I would have picked something else.
Good tool over an hour and I all 4 of our meals came out cold. Sent them back and the next 4 meals came out Luke warm. Horrible value for your money. Nothing but excuses.
With 6 people (a party of 4 and a party of 2) in the restaurant it took 15 minutes to seat my party of 2 for our reservation. After finally being seated for brunch we ordered mimosas and coffee. We attempted to order pancakes but were told there weren't any, we attempted to order waffles but were told there weren't any, we attempted to order their french toast but were told there weren't any. We decided to leave. The manager was gracious enough to comp our drinks, thank you.
The food was gross. It came out cold, there was no flavor to it, and it made you not want to eat it after a couple of bites. The server was run ragged because there was no other servers inside so service was a bit slow, but understood. I would never go back, that’s for sure.
This place has taken a hit since the pandemic. The menu on-line is not even close to what they serve today. The bar is fine as a hotel bar, but plenty of other much better places in Nashville to go.
Apparently they’re having issues in the kitchen . It was 45 minutes before our salad arrived only to then have our dinner served five minutes later which was lukewarm. They were out of the one wine I had ordered. The waiter was very apologetic and comped us desserts. There was no one else in the restaurant so it wasn’t like they were busy. I hope they can get it together.
The dining portion was fine but I was disappointed that the hotel/restaurant does not validate parking as is stated when I made the reservation. The restaurant had no idea what I was talking about - and the hotel would not honor my request.
Great! Burger was amazing.
Our waiter/bartender tried his best but was working alone for most of our visit. He was very friendly and made great cocktails but was really struggling to wait on the entire dining room solo. The appetizers were AMAZING - deviled eggs, and crab hush puppies. Divine. The ambiance was...hotel-ish. The main course...shoe leather steak. The other choice was salmon which was not bad. I think there was a third choice of a quinoa bowl, but that was it for main entrees. We were looking for a fancy night out, but due to Belmont graduation we were unable to make reservations within a 15 mile radius of Nashville, save for this place. Should have stayed in Hendersonville.
Food and drink menu was very limited. Lump meat crab balls were amazing. So called “Delmonico” ribeye was very below average and over priced.
Not very many food items to choose from if you’re planning to eat. Great drink selection, I would go back but just for a drink.
Went for Valentine’s Day. I had no trouble making the reservation. Was a bit confused by the wording on the special menu, as it suggested that some of the regular menu items were able to be used on the promotional menu.
It was nice abd quiet. The food was quite good. What I think was the manager stopped by the table to inquire as to our meal. I would recommend the place without hesitation.
Hostess and server were very friendly. Although we were the only table there it did take a long time for our food. The hot chicken sandwich was great and the quinoa bowl it was actually really good and a nice vegetarian option.
This restaurant renovation was lovely and the food was very good.
Food was amazing.we are not formal type folks, so to take quinoa and make it taste like BBQ, simply amazing.
It was nice but be aware it is in the lobby of a hotel not a stand alone restaurant. We were very taken back by this key piece of info. The staff was nice . The drinks can not be substituted. Very close to the Vandy stadium and the Parthenon.
My first and it’s not my last.... Very good chicken sandwich 👌🏾
